Balcony & Mtn Views! Newly Built Getaway in Monroe

Charming area loved our stay

We weren't a big group, but the house has enough room even at capacity. Kitchen is quite big, but the kitchen table would be lacking enough for everyone (that's being nit-picky). I bring a store tub full of things to every VRBO we stay at just in case they don't have what we need, but we didn't use anything from the tub (minus board games and cards).

Clean and modern property. Loved having the garage. Location was central to what we needed. Wall AC units worked great!Ground floor has the front door, garage, door to backyard, bedroom with queen bed, 1 full bathroom. Long stairway to the upstairs 1st level...living room, kitchen, dining room, office, half bath and patio with 2 chairs and table.3 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, and laundry are on the 2nd upstairs level.No grass, only tall weeds in front and backyard area.School had not started yet, but this place backs up to a school playground. Neighbors out the front door are rather a mess, but they are quite! Neighborhood was a bit sketchy driving into, but ended up being quiet and just fine for us as we were not there much.

The reason for our visit to Monroe was to participate in an event at the Evergreen Fairgrounds. The location was ideal - just a few minutes to the fairgrounds, groceries and other necessities, and easy access to major transportation routes. The property manager was quick and efficient to reply to my queries. All of the basic supplies were provided. We found the beds to be quite comfortable and were very happy with the cleanliness and how orderly the unit was. When we checked in we were concerned because the weather was extremely hot, and upstairs had one AC unit only (in the master). However, it did manage to keep the floor cooled as long as we kept the blinds and windows closed and the doors open. The main floor AC unit was excellent as well! I will suggest to the Property Manager that black-out curtains in all of the bedrooms would be a good upgrade- for both sleeping comfort and managing the temperature in the rooms. All in all, we would book here again!
