Checkin was codes for the doors and made it really easy to come at any time of the evening. Great common areas with full kitchen to use if desired. Great game room. Had a blast here with my son and we also checked out the local barcade, but would have been happy with just this hotel.

The Stone Gables Inn is a beautiful old mansion located in a lovely tree-lined neighborhood. Locks and check in/out couldn’t be easier. We stayed in the Clary room, and though there wasn’t a lot of room to sit, the bed was very comfortable! Everything was appropriately decorated to go with the house, and the kitchen had all the appliances and conveniences anyone could ask for. The common areas were well lit and inviting. Craig and as extremely responsive and helpful as a host. I would definitely recommend this place to others and stay here again myself.

Quiet, open living room, dining & kitchen for prrsonal use. Not many other guests. Would be nice to come / go from front door (Franklin St) but okay coming in back where parking lot was. Gate on parking.

This is our third time staying here. The property is charming and unique. It is located near the heart of the city and so much can be reached by walking down Franklin St. and the adjacent neighborhoods staring at the rich collection of antique homes. Nice common areas, a fully stocked kitchen and plenty of coffee help the quests meet and chat. Check-in is easy. Off street parking that is in a locked and gated lot behind the building is a big plus. We will stay again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time in a mansion. My room at the Inn was the Damon. It was clean and comfortable as was its bathroom. I had access to a large, well equipped kitchen on the floor below. There were also multiple sitting rooms and plenty of coffee and tea on my floor and the first floor. While there are stairs to climb, they are not difficult and worth the effort. Check in instructions were texted to me and were easy to follow.

We only stayed a night, but the room was very clean and the location was great (the neighborhood is charming, and we popped around the corner for breakfast at The Cleveland Bagel). We enjoyed poking around the house - cool old fireplaces and furniture. It's a historic house, so there are a fair number of stairs around the property. Oh, and good toilet paper too (all too exciting).

It was perfect for our one night stay. We were there for a concert. Main bed was very comfortable . Place was clean. Didn’t use kitchen/other amenities. About a 2 mile walk from Huntington Bank Field for reference.

Very charming and clean! We were so fortunate to find this inn. After looking for a place downtown that could accommodate us and our need for separated sleeping arrangements we had no luck. Our room was so comfortable and set up to give us the privacy needed. It was easy to get in touch with any questions we had.

Stone Gables Inn is a unique place to stay. The rooms reflect the era in which the mansion was built. I stayed in the "Damon" room, which had a small, electric fireplace standing in front of the actual, non-functional fireplace. There was also a spa tub, which was nice after a long day. The bed was tall, plush and comfy.

Just ok. It's like a bed & breakfast with no breakfast. Room was kind of weird. No way to work unless you go down to a common area (there's just a bed) and not much room for clothes or luggage. Bed was super soft. Might be good for some people, but not for me.

Stone Gables Inn is a gem close to downtown Cleveland. Cute, quaint, quiet, clean, cozy and classic old school vibe. Stayed in the Damon room, and was pleased with the electric fireplace to keep the room cozy on a cold winter day. Comfortable queen bed and down comforter kept us nice and warm. We had a great night sleep. Hope to come back and stay again soon. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed. Excellent pre-check in communications, clear, precise, and very easy. Thanks

We were exploring Cleveland and this was the perfect spot as our base. The historic home was amazing architecturally, and the street it’s on is beautiful, tree-lined, and dotted with other historic homes. There are many nearby restaurants, and the downtown area of Ohio City is a slightly longer walk, but well worth it. Connie was helpful with suggestions about local places to check out, as well as being an attentive and thoughtful host.

There are no staff on site but that is made clear in the listing and so was expected - there is a fully equipped kitchen and a couple of sitting areas so lots of options during a stay. I'd stay here again on a return trip to Cleveland.

The staff was excellent from the time I booked until after we left. We needed early access to drop our bags - no problem. They communicated when our room was ready - they were prompt. Room was well appointed and extremely comfortable.

the uniqueness of this B&B is there was no staff at house plus no breakfast at this bed and breakfast. They should call this place a bed. Hospitality is not a text of the keycodes. We were strangers in a strange land.

What an incredible find! We loved everything about the Stone Gable Inn. Beautifully restored from the late 1800’s, had all the creature comforts and more. The location is ideal for Ohio City and Gordon Square as well as the West Side Market! Craig the manager was very responsive and accommodating every step of the way. He even brought in a TV for us to watch our 49er team on MNF! We will definitely return every time we visit Cleveland!

Our stay was great. The room was very clean and comfortable. The building was beautiful. Check in was very easy. The owners communicated perfectly. We chose this location because of the proximity to the flats. It’s was very close. We rode our bike from the mansion to the flats for a concert. Everything was perfect and we would definitely stay again if we are in the area. Thanks so much for providing such a unique experience.

Stone Gables Inn is a gem close to downtown Cleveland. Cute, quaint, quiet, clean, cozy and classic old school vibe. Stayed in the Damon room, and was pleased with the electric fireplace to keep the room cozy on a cold winter day. Comfortable queen bed and down comforter kept us nice and warm. The room was very cozy and comfortable. I liked the neighborhood. There are stores and restaurants within walking distance and the area feels relatively safe. It's in a historic residential neighborhood.

Franklin Room worked out perfectly for 5 people. Super quiet. 5 minutes to flats, downtown, restaurants. Would definitely stay here again

Very nice house, room was nice, clean, shower was fantastic, could have used a more comfortable chair in room. Entry to house and room was done with keypad codes texted the morning of visit but everything worked out fine. Neighborhood is very walkable and close to West Side Market area, with plenty of restaurants and breweries.

We were exploring Cleveland and this was the perfect spot as our base. The historic home was amazing architecturally, and the street it’s on is beautiful, tree-lined, and dotted with other historic homes. There are many nearby restaurants, and the downtown area of Ohio City is a slightly longer walk, but well worth it. Connie was helpful with suggestions about local places to check out, as well as being an attentive and thoughtful host.

Checkin was codes for the doors and made it really easy to come at any time of the evening. Great common areas with full kitchen to use if desired. Great game room. Had a blast here with my son and we also checked out the local barcade, but would have been happy with just this hotel.

I enjoyed my stay at Stone Gables Inn - the room was comfortable and quiet, and Craig was helpful with ideas about nearby restaurants. There are no staff on site but that is made clear in the listing and so was expected - there is a fully equipped kitchen and a couple of sitting areas so lots of options during a stay. I'd stay here again on a return trip to Cleveland.

The room we stayed in was very clean, the beds were comfortable and there were plenty of blankets for the futon which we used. We got our instructions for how to get into the home and how to get into our room. We enjoyed walking around the area and ejoyed the architecture. We enjoyed the two resturants in the area. Saucy, Avvo, and the Market Street Cafe were really good. Avoid Juke Box the staff was extremely rude we ended up walking out. We will definetly return to Stone Gables Inn.

We only stayed a night, but the room was very clean and the location was great (the neighborhood is charming, and we popped around the corner for breakfast at The Cleveland Bagel). We enjoyed poking around the house - cool old fireplaces and furniture. It's a historic house, so there are a fair number of stairs around the property. Oh, and good toilet paper too (all too exciting).

Just ok. It's like a bed & breakfast with no breakfast. Room was kind of weird. No way to work unless you go down to a common area (there's just a bed) and not much room for clothes or luggage. Bed was super soft. Might be good for some people, but not for me.

This is our third time staying here. The property is charming and unique. It is located near the heart of the city and so much can be reached by walking down Franklin St. and the adjacent neighborhoods staring at the rich collection of antique homes. Nice common areas, a fully stocked kitchen and plenty of coffee help the quests meet and chat. Check-in is easy. Off street parking that is in a locked and gated lot behind the building is a big plus. We will stay again.

the uniqueness of this B&B is there was no staff at house plus no breakfast at this bed and breakfast. They should call this place a bed. Hospitality is not a text of the keycodes. We were strangers in a strange land.

The place was really good, I do prefer having staff in the property. You never know when you may need anything, water for example, no place to refill or get more water bottles nearby

Beautiful room, comfortable beds, ton of amenities in this mansion! Great ambiance and in a nice neighborhood. Instructions were clear and well-explained. I had a question about exiting the parking lot after hours and it was answered promptly. 10/10 would stay anytime in Cleveland!

The building was nice, there’s no staff you get a gate code/door codes, the parking is included which was nice. The room was a couple floors up without an elevator which was a little rough carrying our bags up but the stairs were well maintained and it wasn’t too bad. The room was clean and pretty nice/cute and cozy, the bed was soft and decently comfortable, the shower was in the bedroom which was a bit of a downside when trying to sleep while my partner took a shower, there’s a fan in the room but I couldn’t find a thermostat. The fan did help a bit. I was hoping for a touch cooler, but I would definitely stay here again.
