We LOVE this property!!! Each room has its own shower. The sauna and steam room are awesome. I felt we were so spoiled that we couldn't stay at other properties any more! The breakfast was healthy and delicious. Beds are firm and sheets are clean and new. Will definitely stay again when we go back to the area.

We enjoy non-chain hotels. We are low-fuss people. The Hill Farm Inn is a beautiful property with comfortable public rooms and cozy private rooms. The receptionist was pleasant and friendly and helpful. We like that it is away from town and shops and busy roads.

We stay here every Columbus Day weekend! Everything is top notch, but the farm cats and the alpaca’s steal the show!

It was unique to be in a facility with multiple things to do, e.g. swimming pool, the pool table, a dart board, the garden, the library, etc. Negatives - very small room, no phone, no Wi-Fi in the room, dysfunctional thermostat, poorly positioned A/C unit such that cold air hits one in the face while in bed, too much of the sounds and voices from adjoining rooms is intrusive.

Loved the mountain views,the spacious property the cutest Llamas and friendly Rag doll cats and our lovely room! Hope to return to Hill Farm Inn but will never book a Monday arrival again - Most restaurants are closed on Monday! Nonetheless its the perfect getaway.

It is a lovely place with rolling Vermont Hills, a beautiful barn, building, restaurant and 2 great lamas you can feed apples to if you choose!

I really would love to give this place a 5 rating. In many aspects it was. However when we arrived in the evening it seemed like everything closed at 8pm according to the hostess who was a bit short with us. When we mentioned we were going for a quick swim the hostess was insistent everything closed at 8. It felt like we couldn’t do anything after 8pm so we just sat in our room with the TV on low. The A/C was also really loud and annoying. Thankfully we were able to open the windows. The great things about this place is the location and the staff in the morning were friendly and warm. Complete opposite of the night before. All in all I would stay there again and hope for different staff at check in.

Everything was truly amazing! The staff makes the experience come alive. Rooms are lovely, amenities spot on, restaurant fabulous, and the property is stellar.

Spent one wonderful night at this Inn. Very personable welcome by Trinity who provided all the information we needed. Room was very cozy. Towels and linens were premium. Quiet pastoral setting. Make sure and book a table at the restaurant. A fabulous dining experience! The bartender Olivia was so entertaining as she made her various concoctions. Look forward to another stay next chance we get.

Hill Farm was just a delight! It was very clean Beautifully decorated comfy, an awesome place to stay! The staff was pleasantly friendly and so helpful. Hill Farm was just a delight! It was very clean Beautifully decorated comfy, an awesome place to stay! The staff was pleasantly friendly and so helpful. I really would love to give this place a 5 rating. In many aspects it was. However when we arrived in the evening it seemed like everything closed at 8pm according to the hostess who was a bit short with us. When we mentioned we were going for a quick swim the hostess was insistent everything closed at 8. It felt like we couldn’t do anything after 8pm so we just sat in our room with the TV on low. The A/C was also really loud and annoying. Thankfully we were able to open the windows. The great things about this place is the location and the staff in the morning were friendly and warm. Complete opposite of the night before. All in all I would stay there again and hope for different staff at check in.

We love the house itself, we love the location and love the farm animals. We love that we can relax at the property and drive to Manchester for shopping/things to do and Stratton Mountain for skiing/snowtubing.

We enjoy non-chain hotels. We are low-fuss people. The Hill Farm Inn is a beautiful property with comfortable public rooms and cozy private rooms. The receptionist was pleasant and friendly and helpful. We like that it is away from town and shops and busy roads.

Loved the mountain views,the spacious property the cutest Llamas and friendly Rag doll cats and our lovely room! Hope to return to Hill Farm Inn but will never book a Monday arrival again - Most restaurants are closed on Monday! Nonetheless its the perfect getaway.

The property is beautiful and quiet. It's close enough to Manchester if you want more to do. Unfortunately we got stung by wasps at the pool but they brought in an exterminator. The restaurant was disappointing, the food was delicious but the limited hours, menu and value were disappointing.

Spent one wonderful night at this Inn. Very personable welcome by Trinity who provided all the information we needed. Room was very cozy. Towels and linens were premium. Quiet pastoral setting. Make sure and book a table at the restaurant. A fabulous dining experience! The bartender Olivia was so entertaining as she made her various concoctions. Look forward to another stay next chance we get.

Best part: Breakfast and the views. Communication and follow through were not what I was hoping for. We reported fire ants being at the door on the first night. Received an email saying they would have a service person address it. Next morning the ants made their way into the room. I notified staff the next morning, in person, and was assured it was taken care of. We had ants the entire time, which because more and more of a problem, as one might expect. Additionally, we paid $300 at the Inn for various fees and I believe for cleaning. However, house keeping is not included. I cannot wrap my mind around paying premium prices for lodging and trash takeout/towels refreshed being an even further additional charge. We quickly blew through our rags and hand towels wiping ants up with soapy water. In our 5 day stay, we never had fresh towels and we took our own trash out. I just have to stop short at calling this hospitality. It's akin to a VRBO. But at a VRBO I could wash laundry and have a fridge. I don't know that we would choose this location again. I also cannot fathom hosting customers and knowing they have fire ants in their room and now personally following up with them regarding the issue.

Never expected to stay in a 4 bedroom house with 6 bathroom, 5 showers, steam room and sauna. The place was fully and beautifully funished. I would definitely book the same place for this spring or summer.
