This was such a find! We were traveling and just wanted to have more of a Montana experience rather than a plain hotel and we struck gold with this place. It was beautiful and historical. We loved walking around the breathtaking grounds. We rented the master suite and had a balcony where we sat outside and enjoyed the weather and the beautiful trees. The bed was supreme and the pillows were also very comfortable. The entire room was so delightful. It was awesome to go down the windy staircase and into the dining room and kitchen. It was like our own place, stocked with milk, cereals, coffee, tea and a few snacks. We only stayed one night so we didn’t cook but could have. We played chess downstairs on an old-fashion chess set. We also got a voucher to get breakfast across the street at the breakfast club which was absolutely delicious! I recommend staying here. So clean and kept up well. You will not be disappointed. The hosts, Tayli & Bryson, answer all your questions promptly, and check-in was a breeze.

This was a magnificent place to stay! It is a heritage mansion that has been tastefully renovated with particular attention to detail. The huge master suite has a private deck and the most comfortable king bed. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee and snacks. There were several common rooms to sit and relax as well as the large backyard area. Parking was convenient and check in was all done remotely so we were able to go straight in when we arrived - super convenient. Only a few minutes drive to downtown restaurants and a 6 minute drive to Mt Sentinel Trailhead which offers a medium challenge hike to a panoramic view of Missoula. We definitely want to stay again!

Beautiful & very well maintained! The easy use of the kitchen to make our dinner & then the relaxation of eating outside in the serene yard was just what we needed after driving all day. Care takers were very friendly & even offered us some of their home made Texas cake, which was delicious! As a final bonus, they offer breakfast coupons for a fun cafe right across the street! The Gibson is definitely worth the value & is an exceptional place to stay!

Such a beautiful stay. The place was spotless and so quiet. We felt like the only ones there. Our greeter was kind and knowledgeable, and then gone. The grounds were spacious and well kept, other than hurricane force winds that had swept through town days before. Breakfast across the street was fabulous! The only thing missing from this stay was some old-time elegant ghost mysteriously floating around. Loved every minute!

We had a family from Missoula come to visit. The owner offered us the dining room and kitchen to have a pizza dinner delivered in, but we opted to go out since there were 6 of us. Beautiful building, comfortable bedding, and plenty of local deer hanging around. Would stay again

So pleased with this stay! It was amazing!! This charming mansion is a beautiful property, fully restored, and wonderfully upgraded. The A/C in our room worked great and was capable of being controlled just in our room. The ventilation in the private bath was very good. Private bath was fully updated and the bath products provided smelled so good. Linens were top notch. Keypad security was perfect. Excellent angle parking. And we got great snacks and a terrific breakfast too. Will stay here again and highly recommend to others.

Wonderful bed and breakfast! Every room was occupied but it was like having the place to yourself. Very charming facility and much effort put into keeping the history of the house. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were very clean and bed was very comfortable. This is now our official go to lodging when visiting Missoula.

We absolutely loved this place. Beautiful. Bryson, the manager, was so nice and informative and helpful. Greeted us and showed us around. The architecture of the mansion was exquisite. Our room was so inviting and we had an amazing veranda outside our room. The bed and the pillows were the most comfortable of anywhere we have ever stayed. I highly recommend this place. We will stay here every trip.

We were the only people at the hotel. It was very clean and the grounds are well maintained. The rooms are a tad small, but manageable. The bed was so comfortable, we actually slept like 12 hours; which I can remember ever doing. We had the “City View” room. Which was funny because the view was of the highway and some church. No city at all. The TV allow us to stream any channels. The bathroom was tiny and the shower head had low pressure. But the bed was so comfortable. The hotel provided coupons for breakfast with a local restaurant. It was not my favorite meal. But, we are grateful for the thought. The hotel itself is about 3 miles from downtown. Please note most shops close at 6 pm. As for service and staff. We saw one ground keeper once and never saw or hear another person.

Absolutely an amazing place to spend some time at. WOW . I highly recommend choosing this property for your next booking in Missoula . The house and rooms are furnished spectacularly. the bedding and pillows remind me luxury hotels. The management here is amazing . I am very pleased and will definitely book here again in the future.

The house is beautiful and decor was upscale inside. Our room was very comfortable, the bed was so relaxing I felt like we were sleeping in the clouds. We also received a voucher for Breakfast and it was so delicious. Over all this was the prettiest B&B we have stayed in.. we do many as we travel. We highly recommend, and would definitely stay again if we're in this area again.

This was a magnificent place to stay! It is a heritage mansion that has been tastefully renovated with particular attention to detail. The huge master suite has a private deck and the most comfortable king bed. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee and snacks. There were several common rooms to sit and relax as well as the large backyard area. Parking was convenient and check in was all done remotely so we were able to go straight in when we arrived - super convenient. Only a few minutes drive to downtown restaurants and a 6 minute drive to Mt Sentinel Trailhead which offers a medium challenge hike to a panoramic view of Missoula. We definitely want to stay again!

We absolutely loved this place. Beautiful. Bryson, the manager, was so nice and informative and helpful. Greeted us and showed us around. The architecture of the mansion was exquisite. Our room was so inviting and we had an amazing veranda outside our room. The bed and the pillows were the most comfortable of anywhere we have ever stayed. I highly recommend this place. We will stay here every trip.

I don’t know where to start….to keep it simple, this was by far far the nicest place we stayed on our trip. We stayed on 5 hotels and this one was in a different level. Laura is the sweetest and made us feel right at home.

Such a beautiful stay. The place was spotless and so quiet. We felt like the only ones there. Our greeter was kind and knowledgeable, and then gone. The grounds were spacious and well kept, other than hurricane force winds that had swept through town days before. Breakfast across the street was fabulous! The only thing missing from this stay was some old-time elegant ghost mysteriously floating around. Loved every minute!

Absolutely an amazing place to spend some time at. WOW . I highly recommend choosing this property for your next booking in Missoula . The house and rooms are furnished spectacularly. the bedding and pillows remind me luxury hotels. The management here is amazing . I am very pleased and will definitely book here again in the future.

Wonderful bed and breakfast! Every room was occupied but it was like having the place to yourself. Very charming facility and much effort put into keeping the history of the house. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were very clean and bed was very comfortable. This is now our official go to lodging when visiting Missoula.

This was such a find! We were traveling and just wanted to have more of a Montana experience rather than a plain hotel and we struck gold with this place. It was beautiful and historical. We loved walking around the breathtaking grounds. We rented the master suite and had a balcony where we sat outside and enjoyed the weather and the beautiful trees. The bed was supreme and the pillows were also very comfortable. The entire room was so delightful. It was awesome to go down the windy staircase and into the dining room and kitchen. Beautiful & very well maintained! The easy use of the kitchen to make our dinner & then the relaxation of eating outside in the serene yard was just what we needed after driving all day. Care takers were very friendly & even offered us some of their home made Texas cake, which was delicious! As a final bonus, they offer breakfast coupons for a fun cafe right across the street! The Gibson is definitely worth the value & is an exceptional place to stay!

We were the only people at the hotel. It was very clean and the grounds are well maintained. The rooms are a tad small, but manageable. The bed was so comfortable, we actually slept like 12 hours; which I can remember ever doing. We had the “City View” room. Which was funny because the view was of the highway and some church. No city at all. The TV allow us to stream any channels. The bathroom was tiny and the shower head had low pressure. But the bed was so comfortable. The hotel provided coupons for breakfast with a local restaurant. It was not my favorite meal. But, we are grateful for the thought. The hotel itself is about 3 miles from downtown. Please note most shops close at 6 pm. As for service and staff. We saw one ground keeper once and never saw or hear another person.

We had a family from Missoula come to visit. The owner offered us the dining room and kitchen to have a pizza dinner delivered in, but we opted to go out since there were 6 of us. Beautiful building, comfortable bedding, and plenty of local deer hanging around. Would stay again

A truley amazing place to stay. It was like stepping into history. We stayed in the suite, which was awesome. The whole hasis a total treasure. Its a short walk to the shops, and for food shopping. We totaly relaxed here Tayli a Bryson are just great. We would definitely stay there again if we pass this way

Everything was excellent with the accomadations . My one complaint is the snow removal company awakened us at 5am two of the four nights we stayed. They made a lot of noise and it took them at least 1/2 hour to do the snow removal in the cul-de-sac.

This is an Much older property that has been well maintained. It was advertised as a Bed and Breakfast, The Bed was supplied but breakfast was a voucher to 'The Breakfast Club' for a breakfast 'Burrito'. Not the sort of breakfast that we had expected!

The house is beautiful and decor was upscale inside. Our room was very comfortable, the bed was so relaxing I felt like we were sleeping in the clouds. We also received a voucher for Breakfast and it was so delicious. Over all this was the prettiest B&B we have stayed in.. we do many as we travel. We highly recommend, and would definitely stay again if we're in this area again.

So pleased with this stay! It was amazing!! This charming mansion is a beautiful property, fully restored, and wonderfully upgraded. The A/C in our room worked great and was capable of being controlled just in our room. The ventilation in the private bath was very good. Private bath was fully updated and the bath products provided smelled so good. Linens were top notch. Keypad security was perfect. Excellent angle parking. And we got great snacks and a terrific breakfast too. Will stay here again and highly recommend to others.

The Gibson Mansion is a lovely house and our room was very comfortable. But it should be described as a guest house rather than as a B&B, because the only breakfast provided on site was coffee and cereal or snack bars. Rather than serve breakfast in the beautiful dining room, they gave us a voucher for a fast food breakfast place across the street in a strip mall. It was underwhelming and not at all what we expected and unlike what we have experienced at other B&Bs in similar types of houses.

Very bizarre bnb. We stayed 4 nights. The first full day, we were gone all day and they never cleaned the room. Once I let them know around 5pm, they took care of it. Then the next day, they forgot again! (There are only like 3-4 rooms). The lady got snippy with me and said per the (3 page document -and the BACK of one they have in the room) WE are supposed to request daily cleaning, even though they advertise that they provide daily cleaning. In other words, if YOU don't ACTIVELY ask for it with your card on the door handle, they don't clean. The back yard needed a lot of TLC. The super raised bathub/shower seems like a serious liability as you literally need to step like 3 feet up and over to get in it. Same when getting out. Shower curtains draped the entire bathtub/shower as water goes everywhere and can easily leak downstairs. Again, very strange. I understand it is an old house, so we should expect that, but seemed dangerous. On the positive side, it was a cool old house and they did keep snacks and breakfast stuff readily available. The manager did try to be nice, but I really didn't appreciate her snippy attitude regarding the non cleaning of our room 2 days in a row. And it was NOT cheap.
