Parking not so great, edge of property collapsed wall surrounding parking lot. Get charged same for a piece of toast vs full English - should not cost the same. On last day was given only 1 piece of toast when ordered toast and was charged $14 for it

This hotel is not a luxury hotel with lots of facilities it is more basic, but it is kept very clean, has nice furniture and provides everything you need on the assumption you don;t want to spend hours in the hotel. If you are visiting to see friends locally or to see the sights then this is a good base. The breakfast is done really well. There aren't many staff but they were really kind and friendly.

We like small boutique hotels that have been well maintained and the Asperion was exactly that. Unfortunately there was no evening dining available at this stage.

Sadly only had hot water for one of the three days After been shown around I asked for some milk but never got it so had to to go and buy milk Website said restaurant and paperwork in room states evening restaurant only to be told it’s shut till March When I mentioned this to reception all I got told was, yes sorry for this. No offer of a breakfast or refund as a sorry for this, the apology more came across as what ever. Good bye

Everything was perfect and clean and well managed. Excellent tea tray refreshed every day. Overflow parking in bay across road even if car park is full. Honest bar for late night drink, (useful to me because I had been a nominated driver earlier) I honestly cannot fault this hotel, and the price was very reasonable. We will certainly be back

The hotel personnel were very friendly and polite and the hotel was very homely and very clean. Every aspect of the hotel was excellent from the beautiful garden area to the restaurant and lounge with the honesty bar. I would recommend this place without hesitation to anyone who would like a nice peaceful break away or for business travellers.

Wonderful friendly staff who went out of their way to make our three-night stay enjoyable. Loved the tranquility of the rooms that are on the back of the hotel overlooking a koi pond. Very convenient for us while visiting friends around the Guildford area.

We stayed in the small double room, comfortable bed, had everything we needed. The window needs replacing as it was mouldy, had a broken handle & and the double glazing had blown. The en-suite bathroom floor tiles were not grouted. The window had mould round and the extraction fan didn’t work. Having said all that it wouldn’t stop me staying again in a different room. Excellent friendly staff, excellent breakfast.

Nicely decorated and very friendly professional receptionist but no food, kettle didn’t work after having to try to find a way to plug it in. Clean except window in bathroom which was filthy and lots if insects and daddy long legs in bathroom

Really lovely place to stay, not what I was expecting at first but I have zero complaints about it!! The staff were fantastic, the rooms were beautiful and the shower controls were mindblowing; the only downside is the pillows/mattress aren’t too comfortable, but everything else about the property is fantastic. Thank you for being so accomodating!!

Unfortunately we could hear the television from the next room and was wide awake from 5.30am! Did mention after we checked into the room but was told as we were already in the room if we wanted to change rooms we would have to pay for another room!

Was mine and my girlfriends second stay at this hotel in the last couple of months… lovely rooms with the most comfortable beds. Staff are friendly and helpful. Very quiet and clean. Beautiful location with a nice garden situated at the hotel, also a great onsite restaurant… And up the road there is another lovely pub. Local shops are within a 5 minute drive.. fantastic value for money for somewhere so nice..all in all both of our visits have been excellent.

The property is in a nice location and very quiet though we had a restless night with the room next door being loud to the early hours. The room we chose was very clean as was the hotel itself. Our room was nice and the shower excellent. Our bed was far too small for two and the mattress not the best. The staff were very friendly also.

Small but clean and tidy single room, could do with mirror (plenty of wall space for a full length one by the door) and maybe a cosy rug as the carpet is very functional not comfort driven. Bathroom is stunning and the shower is one of the best I have ever used.

A lovely warm reception by Derek in this charming hotel. I really enjoyed the cosy lounge area, which was perfect for entertaining my visiting family. Also, later in the evening, I enjoyed the convenience of supper served in my room…. Sheena, and the chef, were very accommodating.

Wonderful friendly staff who went out of their way to make our three-night stay enjoyable. Loved the tranquility of the rooms that are on the back of the hotel overlooking a koi pond. Very convenient for us while visiting friends around the Guildford area.

For what I paid the room was as expected, it was clean had a good TV that had plenty of channel choice. There were hot drink facilities in the room and the bed was clean and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was brilliant! The chef did a cracking job with my order and the mushroom sauce as a side was amazing. Breakfast was lovely and fresh with local produce and it was the best hotel breakfast I’ve had for sometime.

Sadly only had hot water for one of the three days After been shown around I asked for some milk but never got it so had to to go and buy milk Website said restaurant and paperwork in room states evening restaurant only to be told it’s shut till March When I mentioned this to reception all I got told was, yes sorry for this. No offer of a breakfast or refund as a sorry for this, the apology more came across as what ever. Good bye

The welcome and service was exemplary without feeling intruding. The dinner was excellent and the overall ambience and interior design very pleasant. Personally the bed and the pillows were a bit soft but that is down to personal preference (and water glasses in the room would be nice!). But I would certainly recommend this hotel.

Just average really, not sure why so many good reviews, maybe restraunt goers but accommodation is fairly average TBF. Pillows didn't even have pillow protectors and were all yellow and cringe looking. Made going to sleep a bit less comfortable.

Room clean but basic for a boutique hotel. Nothing gave it any charactor so felt like a grey box... bed was large and comfy. Shower was tempramental of a morning with lack of water pressure at times. However the staff especially Lilly was friendly and attentive. Food in Ten Tables was amazing. The garden was lovely to sit out in and relax with a drink or 2.

Hotel looks fine, restaurant looks really nice. Room was very old and dated and without aircon which was troublesome given the heat outside. It was not promised so no issues and a fan was supplied. What was in stark contrast with the price of the room, was the price of the honesty bar. We had two glasses of wine and noted them, not giving it a second thought. Then at check out was charged £20…. For two glasses of wine… extortionate, and completely unacceptable. It’s called and honesty bar, but that should go both ways….
