The Lodge is very attractive and in a beautiful location. Convenient to Minnewaska, New Paltz etc. Very few anemities. No coffee maker in room, basic motel type rooms. Very nice breakfast. Not sure if the price is worth it. Breakfast is included in price however a "Lodge Fee" of $40 per night was charged.

New management has made some nice upgrades since our last stay. Love the trails on property! Eric was a great host and nice breakfast included. We will be back.

We absolutely loved our stay with the Minnewaska Lodge and our certain we’ll be back! Everything about our stay was lovely from the incredible beautiful property, outdoor and indoor seating Adirondack style, hiking trails, fire pits, and dog friendly amenities, not to mention very personable staff absolutely well manicured grounds & great cliff view from our balcony… only thing- room needed a little help with supplies, but other than that, it was perfect! If you can add parking spaces to the top level, that would be convenient for some of us who struggle with walking uphills a bit.. but again minimal issue for such an enjoyable stay!

Beautiful building tucked away off the road welcomes you to a very tranquil space. Very friendly helpful staff. Eric is always present to make sure you’re happy and comfortable. The room was very large with a king size bed. Bathroom very spacious and bright. We enjoyed the smallness of the inn where you could leave your door open and feel safe. The guests are all there for the peacefulness and the beautiful grounds where you can relax by a fire pit or walk thru the several trails off in the woods. Breakfast was plentiful with a great variety that would please anyone. Really loved our weekend there.

10/10 would stay here again. Spectacular location and service! The rooms had gorgeous views. The property is well-maintained and quiet. The common room was a joy to sit in, with delicious free cookies in the afternoons and smores for toasting in the outdoor fire pits in the evenings. The breakfast bar was also great. Free parking. You can’t beat the location — only an 8 minute drive to Minnewaska State Park and across the street from a great German restaurant. Lastly, this was dog friendly!

We have stayed at this lodge many times over the years. It's great especially if you are hiking in Minnewaska. They have renovated some rooms and some common areas but there are many other areas that still need a refresh. Price per night has gone up considerably and we were expecting the lodge to be pristine. Also, they tacked on a "resort fee" to our already high rate and I am not sure what we got for that. Front entrance porch boards needs paint, hallway rugs are old/stained and renovated rooms still have tired bathrooms. Again, for the lower rate this would be fine but not for what we paid per night. Matt at checkin was friendly and welcoming. Walkable to the delicious German restaurant across the street. Breakfast was good but nothing special. Would stay again but only for a much lower rate.

The people running the place were fantastic. The room was clean but dated. The bed constantly creaked and the one time I needed to hang clothes up there was no rod to hang them on. The tv remote only worked in one spot because of how they installed the box. All and all I liked the place and it was close to where I needed to be.

Beautiful lodge with nice rooms. We were upgraded to a mountain view which was very pretty. The lobby is quite ski lodge like and comfortable. The breakfast was large enough and tasty. My only complaint is the air conditioner. It was very loud and woke us up several times during the night. Our bathroom was not one of the updated ones but was clean and roomy. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a really cute and clean property! The large common areas are very lodge-like and breakfast is good too. The staff is very nice and helpful. I highly recommend this for a couple of days to relax.

This was my third stay at Minnewaska lodge. I always love it. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, the bath products are lovely smelling, and there is plenty of room in the dining/sitting area and outside by the firepit to relax and socialize or read . The staff are always friendly and go above and beyond. The private woodland setting is a wonderful base for visiting the area.
This was my third stay at Minnewaska lodge. I always love it. Pro's: clean. great views bright with windows. it was close to plenty of hiking and cross-country skiing. Cons: the room we were in - needed a new mattress a decade ago. I see they are updating the rooms with sound proofing etc. but the bedding should be a priority. I would have asked to have the room switched if I laid on it earlier when we checked in.

A perfectly delightful Continental breakfast sent us on our way. The fireflies were amazing! The room was silent and the grounds were beautiful. The view of the mountains from our balcony was spectacular.

Such a nice little place to relax and hide away. The staff truly make the lodge! Eric was super helpful with a late check in and personal touches of handwritten notes as well as knowing customers by name at breakfast. The rest of staff was equally accommodating and friendly. The lodge was under some construction with upgrades during our stay, but the quality and experience never missed a beat. Will certainly come back to see the finished product!

This was my third stay at Minnewaska lodge. I always love it. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, the bath products are lovely smelling, and there is plenty of room in the dining/sitting area and outside by the firepit to relax and socialize or read . The staff are always friendly and go above and beyond. The private woodland setting is a wonderful base for visiting the area.

I loved this place right away ... It feels like family as soon as you walk in the door... Just so very accommodating with everything. Kelsey was amazing when I checked in, along with the man who checked me out. The breakfast was definitely better than other places I have been too, and the scenery while eating makes it ten times better. My friend and I were even mentioning going there in the spring time again. Thank you for everything !

We had a wonderful stay at the lodge! Eric and his staff were friendly and very helpful. The lodge was very clean and comfortable and the grounds were gorgeous! It was the perfect place to stay for my son’s wedding. We would absolutely stay there again!!!

The Lodge is very attractive and in a beautiful location. Convenient to Minnewaska, New Paltz etc. Very few anemities. No coffee maker in room, basic motel type rooms. Very nice breakfast. Not sure if the price is worth it. Breakfast is included in price however a "Lodge Fee" of $40 per night was charged.

The lodge is a great place to stay while enjoying all that the area around Minnewaska/New Paltz has to offer…great hiking, climbing, and just a lot of natural beauty in this part of NY State. The Mountain Brauhaus (within a minute walking distance) is a gem for lunch, dinner, or just a quick bite and a tasty beer!

The common room was a joy to sit in, with delicious free cookies in the afternoons and smores for toasting in the outdoor fire pits in the evenings. The breakfast bar was also great. Free parking. You can’t beat the location — only an 8 minute drive to Minnewaska State Park and across the street from a great German restaurant. Lastly, this was dog friendly!

Visiting New Paltz to enjoy a weekend of walking/hiking and didn’t want to spend what it costs to stay at Mohonk Mountain House. Found this place on Expedia and are so happy we did. Everything about it is charming with lots of cozy and inviting common spaces sitting on a great piece of property with fire pits and Adirondack chairs scattered about. The complimentary breakfast every morning is excellent. Conveniently located to town and many beautiful walking trails. If we return to the area, we will stay there again.

Beautiful lodge with nice rooms. We were upgraded to a mountain view which was very pretty. The lobby is quite ski lodge like and comfortable. The breakfast was large enough and tasty. My only complaint is the air conditioner. It was very loud and woke us up several times during the night. Our bathroom was not one of the updated ones but was clean and roomy. We would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed at this lodge many times over the years. It's great especially if you are hiking in Minnewaska. They have renovated some rooms and some common areas but there are many other areas that still need a refresh. Price per night has gone up considerably and we were expecting the lodge to be pristine. Also, they tacked on a "resort fee" to our already high rate and I am not sure what we got for that. Front entrance porch boards needs paint, hallway rugs are old/stained and renovated rooms still have tired bathrooms. Again, for the lower rate this would be fine but not for what we paid per night. Matt at checkin was friendly and welcoming. Walkable to the delicious German restaurant across the street. Breakfast was good but nothing special. Would stay again but only for a much lower rate.

Staff was very friendly and willing to help. Setting was very picturesque. Breakfast was very disappointing - first morning I had a bagel that was very hard, eggs were cold as was the coffee. Room was clean and breakfast was good with typical open buffet style. There was a hidden/surprise pet fee $75 per pet informed during check-in. I would appreciate this was informed in advance. Bathroom needs more towels and water pressure needs to be checked as it seemed to be clogged. Overall i enjoyed the stay.

Weak points were: shower/tub requires a mat or something to avoid slipping on the floor of the bathtub; owner will surely get sued if not fixed. Secondly, the TV requires 2 remotes; instructions given were totally inadequate. Matthew and I worked together to produce a clear simple instruction sheet which he says he will distribute to the other rooms.
