THE INN AT THE DELTA - BED AND BREAKFAST

I liked the jetted tub in the large suite.

Rooms here are huge, beautiful and comfortable - grounds are lovely. Be aware that many rooms are on the second floor, which can only be reached by fairly steep stairs - no elevator. A charming glimpse of old New Mexico. No breakfast available.

Didn't use the fireplace. The room was beautiful. There was no information about any amenities if there were any. Some of the ads & reviews acted like there was? Guests should be warned 27 steps up a steep stairway to room. We were ok but some may not be.

Front office staff was curt and only moderately helpful. Parking lot is dirt, as is entry driveway. Difficult to find the property... needs better signage.

Our check-in was easy as well as our check-out. The trees, flowers, local vegetation, bushes, and huge fountain framed the historic building and rooms wonderfully! The thick adobe walls kept the room cool and the authentic Spanish type was beautiful! We will definitely be returning for another quick getaway!

The room was a great value for our money. It was huge! It was also very clean. The kiva fireplace and jetted bath tub was a huge bonus as well. We will definitely be coming back here again.

Fantastic rooms & would recommend this hotel for that alone. No breakfast option but that doesn't bother us. The car park isn't paved so if it's wet and you don't want to wheel cases over the mud be prepared to carry them across the car park.

Stayed May 16-18 2024. We are longtime customers, having stayed multiple times over the last 20 years. However, this was our first stay since the pandemic. The property is still beautiful, and an unsuspected pleasure just off the highway in Española. The gardens are beautiful and flowers in bloom. However, the inn no longer offers the breakfast that made it such an exceptional value. The Casita style rooms are beautiful, but showing signs of wear and just missing a few maintenance details, such as caulking around the tubs and shower, a very squeaky bed frame and the kiva fireplaces are turned off. I realize there are probably good reasons for this, but the character of the place suffers a little. Management is still exceptionally friendly and they were accommodating when we had to make a last-minute change to our reservation. But I think this gem of the Espanola Valley needs a little TLC and to serve breakfast that made it feel like a real B&B experience and an opportunity to meet other guests.

This room is huge and uniquely decorated. Excellent comfort. The only setback is that is hard to locate. There needs to better signage near the highway to direct to the Inn.

The place looked rundown and unkept. It didn't look clean; we didn't even stay. We went to another hotel

When you pull up to this property, it is beautiful. Gorgeous flowers all around. People stay in individual cottages, which look adorable. When we checked in, the man was not friendly at all. When I asked about the times for breakfast, I was told there was no breakfast. I mentioned breakfast is advertised on their website. His answer was - oh, I have to update the website. When we entered our cottage, we were hit with a very musty smell. There were no ceiling fans to help with the smell. The shower was in the hot tub, which we found weird. We were told if we wanted fresh towels, put the dirty ones in a plastic bag and set outside the door of the cottage. We did just that, but never received replacements. We would have stayed somewhere else, but when you check in, the man had us sign a paper that said no refunds. So, we were stuck. Overall, the stay was very disappointing. We would never stay at this property again.

One less positive comment: a small part of the pillows or cases had a mold smell. Fortunately it was minimal.

Property was beautiful. Wonderful fountain and courtyard. Staff/owner was attentive. Smelled funny - chemicals. Carpet was questionable (didn't look the cleanest and had a big cut in it near bathroom door). Sink backsplash was dirty, even toothpaste on the side of it. Had big rainstorm and we had 2 leaks in the room that were coming down good. Owner brought towels after rain stopped 30 min. later. Those flat roofs must be hard to manage. Beautiful large rooms. Beautiful sunflower tile in the bathroom.

I thought the room size and type was excellent. I was very disappointed that the bedding in two of our three rooms had to be changed late at night after we got back from our activities. They were changed out quickly but never should have been sold as dirty as they were—both rooms!! The floors weren’t swept very well either. Expected more from such a nice setting!

The room, had two queen beds and a 'foyer' area which looked like you were entering a hacienda. There were a number of cabinet pieces, also in the Spanish hacienda theme. Also, a dining table, small refrigerator and microwave in a corner nook, which was nice. A few drawbacks... the room smelled strongly of incense, like there was an odor permeating the room which needed to be 'covered over'. It was pungent and hard to get used to, even after being in the room for an extended period of time. Also, as the room was extremely large, the television was at a right angle to the bed which made it difficult to see if sitting on the bed, and there was no furniture (i.e. couch or loveseat) close to the TV to see the screen, but clear across the room. A different layout of the furniture and TV would probably work better. The fan/heat light for the bathroom didn't work, perhaps just a burnt out bulb. Also, the lighting in the entire suite was minimal, but there was a skylight and window which helped the overall level of light for the suite. Price was good, and grounds/landscaping was nice. The sign for the property was aged, needing some touch-up, but overall the buildings themselves were well-maintained. Property management was warm and welcoming. Overall, we would stay here again, if in this area of NM.

Wonderfully large room and very cozy. Clean, and perfect for our needs, we will definitely stay at The Inn at the Delta again if passing through Espanola, NM.

Room was very nice and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. Very quiet area. The flowers smelled wonderful! Beautiful garden area. Would stay here again!

Space was nice and so is the area to an extent. The room is really nice but we had a few issues. The power went out a little after midnight and did not come back on. It was our unit and the one next to it. Everyone else had power when we looked outside in the morning. This may have been a hiccup but still no power was a huge issue. Next, I kept on hearing street racing all night. No fault of the hotel but it wasn't quiet at all. I could have stayed in Albuquerque to hear racing all night which I've gotten used too. Nice place but we won't be coming back.

This boutique hotel, designed in a Southwest theme, is amazing in almost every aspect. The decor is beautiful, and the rooms are by far the biggest I have ever seen. The only negative was very poor Wi-Fi reception. Nevertheless, a wonderful place.

Older hotel, large rooms, but need updating. Bed was very firm. I am 5'tall and struggled to use the spa tub/shower, difficult to climb in/out. Hotel was quiet, adjoining Mexican restaurant was good. Decent for one night.

When we walked into our room, I was simply astonished - it was fabulous with lovely furnishings and fittings, fabric and tiles. Even after seeing the photos online, I did not expect a room of such luxury. It was a very large all-in-one sitting room with fire, bedroom, kitchenette and dining table and a superb bath in the bathroom. We enjoyed the bench on our private little patio at the front door, looking at the gardens and hearing the fountain play. THANK YOU TO ALL STAFF.

The grounds were immaculate, the room was enormous, nicely furnished and comfortable. It was very quiet and convenient, near Santa Fe and Los Alamos. I highly recommend this establishment

The landscaping was beautiful, the room nice and cool on a hot day and clean. The room was a little dark.

The rooms were amazing. The staff and owner very friendly. And a great adjoining Mexican restaurant. One of the nicest places I've every stayed.

The owners of this property are lovely. They go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome.

I was told wifi connect info was in the room. It was not. I could not turn on the TV. It read: No Connection. I asked for help and received none. No one on premises could turn it on. Manager was rude and completely unhelpful. He said he would stop by in 25 minutes but did not show, so I checked out and said I wanted a refund. They did not give me one. I told the clerk I expect a full refund for my room by 6/20, or I will file a formal complaint.

Very friendly staff upon checkin. Great & safe location in Espanola, New Mexico. Good restaurants to try New Mexican dishes near vicinity. Room was spacious & very comfortable bed.

The Inn at the Delta is perhaps the best hotel I have stayed at. Not the most luxurious, but for the overall experience it was terrific. The room was very large, and sort of hacienda style. Very friendly staff, and well-maintained grounds with lush gardens everywhere. It is somewhat difficult to find in that the signage leading up to the hotel is scant, but after passing it twice we found it.

This property set back behind a restaurant is not easily seen from the road. While the property has interesting architecture, and the grounds are beautifully landscaped and maintained, the room itself was dated and worn. It is a very spacious room but it was not well lit and rather dark. The TV was quite small and located about 20 feet away from any seating. Other than the typical in room small coffee maker with packaged cups and coffee grounds, there was no breakfast or coffee service available. If there was, it was not offered to us or explained on check in.

The area around the lovely property is surrounded by kinda rundown property.

The landscaping was beautiful! The only complaint were the loud cars late at night.

A hidden gem in Espanola. it was convenient to Santa Fe (30 minutes), Los Alamos and Bandelier National Monument. Large rooms and reasonable prices.

The Inn was a very pleasant surprise. I didn't expect my room to be so large, cool and comfortable. The service was great, the grounds were impressive and the location convenient.

A bit dated by a nice place that’s clean and spacious. Need to change the BnB label because there is no breakfast, not even coffee in the lobby. Coffee in rooms is standard pre packed hotel fare and not very good.

We liked the architecture, cleanliness, beautiful garden surroundings, and friendly staff. We booked late, and arrived late. The staff left us with good, friendly directions/note and key. They had a list for places to eat. I would love this place even more if they would offer breakfast. Highly recommend it:)

This property was billed as a bed and breakfast. They DO NOT serve breakfast. There is a restaurant nearby that does serve breakfast but we were expecting it onsite.

The grounds and the room were gorgeous. Room was very large, sheets were very nice, bed was comfortable, enough towels for our stay. No breakfast served which is not what I expected based on online information, no beside charging station, little space in the bathroom for our stuff. Won't stay again because of the small inconveniences, which included going to a gas station for a decent cup of coffee.

Well decorated room with very comfortable bed, hot shower and jetted tub. A good Mexican restaurant is right next door. Several dining options on the highway. Espanola is conveniently located between Sante Fe and Taos. The 'high road to Taos' is a scenic route from Espanola to Taos.

The property was listed as a bed and breakfast, but did not serve breakfast. There was no restaurant in walking distance open for breakfast. Manage was pleasant. Room was huge, well decorated and clean. There was a restaurant a few steps away that served lunch and dinner.

It was such a beautiful place to stay, accommodations were wonderful and nice to have a restaurant next to it for dinner. So very quaint and lovely

There is a pretty garden in front of the office. Unfortunately the restaurant is not open, no breakfast is available.
