We did not even end up staying at this location. We moved to a different place. The pool did not have any water in it and was full of tumble weeds, the keys to the doors did not work, there was caution tape wrapped around the stairs where concrete was falling off and the service was horrible and did not even offer to refund or make accommodations when concerns were brought to their attention. We would never recommend this place to anyone!!

With temps near 100°, I was looking forward to relaxing in the pool. I was informed at checkin that the ice machine was out of order, and that the pool was shut down permanently due to no one is able to maintain it. I was told it was taken down online, despite it appearing on google description and the physical monument sign in front. I was given the room next to the office, but the wifi signal was so weak it would keep dropping the connection. The room phone was missing the phone cord, so it was inoperable. I could hear people talking right outside my door late into the evening, and was awoken in the middle of the night by a loud noise I could not place. Overall, the place was rather shabby, and poorly maintained.

Death hazard: multiple stairs steps missing and no warning or caution. Swimming pool dry and contains tumble weed and empty bottles. Hot tub doesn’t have water. Bedding was clean and comfortable. Ice machine works great.

Pool & spa not working, broken down facility, needs lots of repairs in rooms. 3 ice makers, only 1 working. Continental bkfst, Cheerios, Fruit loops, waffles, bananas & coffee...very minimal. Would not stay there again...Maid was very friendly and helpful.

Our room was very dirty. On the side of the dresser there was a used flosser & a bottle of deodorant from the previous person. Hangers were left in the bathroom & a used bar of soap.

The front desk women was very nice The room was very dirty. Urine on toilet lid, mirrors blurred due to film, carpet damaged and dirty, lamp shades, dirty and melted. The floor was sqeaking so bad with uneveness We were afraid we may fall through!

Older hotel, which could be fine if taken care of and maintained! Very run down, the floors in our room were FILTHY! My grandson took his shoes off to run around the room and his feet were black! Didn’t see any bugs but hard to sleep comfortably in those conditions. Also very loud in our room. Between people upstairs coming and going out of their room until early am and water pipe sounds all night, just a horrible experience. Do not recommend :/

This place was very dirty. Carpet in the room was dirty and partially torn up. Shower/tub was grungy, toilet seat was loose. The desk clerks were very nice & friendly. Will not stay here again.

Fresh and clean bed, comfy mattress, hot water bath, nice desk. Was very impressed. Had a very good night's sleep. Breakfast provided is more than adequate!! Someone is paying attention to details. I will certainly stay here again!!!

Bed was comfortable. Room & linens were clean. Breakfast was ok. Wifi was super sketchy in the room. Could hear traffic and trains and even people talking on the balcony outside the rooms.

A cheap place to stay for sure but you pay for what you get. Room furnishings were fine, outdated tho as well as the bathrooms. Internet off and on so really could not use at all. A bit noisy as close to hiway. A cheap overnight stay if you are not looking for anything special

The A/C unit doesn't bring in air well from outside, and the CO2 in the room went high, made the room feel super stuffy and contributed to my congestion until I left a window open and was treated to the sound of I-15 roaring by. There is poor insulation: the footsteps of the person in the room above me woke me up at 5am even though I was dead tired. This is definitely a motel; I guess if you know what you're in for it's ok. I was hoping for more. BTW, As the screenshot makes clear, it's not clear whether two stars is "fair" or "poor". That's Orbitz's fault, but helped me feel better about giving two stars.

There are a few good things and few not so good. First off, does appear to be clean, lots of hot water, and good water pressure. Carpet is a bit tattered, needs a replacement. The cons are that its got really sticky doors, so each time someone down the whole row opens their doors you can hear it. Upstairs was extremely noisy with foot steps, and other noises. Lots of outside noises. Bed is ok, if you like a soft bed. AC unit could blow a bit more air, room alternated between stuffy to to cool. For the price, its a good overnight place. We have stayed at three different hotels in same town and all are about the same.

Staff was great and very helpful. Had an issue with our Expedia booking and they helped us get it fixed/refunded. The hotel itself is very old and rundown. The electronic door locks didn’t work so staff had to let us into the room. Inside the room the floors creaked so badly it sounded like you might fall through the floor at any moment and the bathroom was in such poor condition it looked as if it hadn’t seen any maintenance since it was first built. I wish the hotel was as good/nice as it’s staff.

The staff that welcomed us was great. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom tub was stained so that was a downer. Area with beds was satisfactory. Breakfast was not inviting. We would stay there again. Probably give them a rating of 7.8

The gentleman was friendly & efficient. I left an item in the room & he held it for 2 days for me to pick it up as I was traveling back through. Would definitely stay here again!

The towels were dirty and wet in the bathroom like they had just been folded and put back. I left a very important bag I talked with house keeping and manager and of course no one turned it in! Iam sure I left it because that is the only motel we stayed at!

Have stayed at this property for years. The Motel appears to be under new management and is in a serious state of neglect. Breakfast was inedible. Cancelled in the middle of my stay and it took months to get refund. Will not return.

Our key card did not work so we could not get into our room. The lady from the desk came and checked the door handle and said the batteries were dead and she could not help because her shift was up and she was going home. A man came to the desk and gave my husband another keycard and told him our room was "down at the end". It was in a different building at the end. A set of stairs we taped off with yellow tape because they were broken down and unsafe. We had to go up DIRTY and badly worn steps with a loose handrail. When we opened the door, there was a used Q-Tip right in from of the door on the floor, there were bits of crackers on the carpet and a hanger was on the floor. The room was horrible. It had a broken, dirty hide-a-bed, a broken lampshade and plug-ins without electrical power. The light in the toilet room did not work. The plug-in for the sink was pulled out. THIS PLACE SHOULD HAVE BEEN CONDEMNED TEN YEARS AGO OR MORE! IT IS A DISGRACE TO BE OPERATING IN THE USA!

I waited at the counter for 20 minutes and no one was there to check us in. I ended up calling the place and heard it ring in back and then get silenced. After a bit the front desk lady came out completely unaware I was there. Place is pretty dirty. Stains on rugs. Bathtub is cracked and rotted. But at least we have waffles for breakfast in the morning….. well nope we got up early just to be at breakfast by 9 as told and there was a sign on the door stating “lobby closed sorry” on the door. This was at 830. Frustrating experience and honestly I want my money back.

Overall it was good. The owner was helpful for requests, and dependable. The rooms are spacious, safe, and clean. Its located right by the freeway entrance, and near several restaurants, and a Tesla charging station. There is no pool.

Although it was convenient to the interstate and local food -- that was also its downside because it was also noisy. The room was clean, good amenities and all that. And I would stay there again. It's just that the road noise went on all night. I doubt that many of the other hotel options in the area were any better. As I said, I would likely stay there again -- but I'll bring some ear plugs.

Easy checking and stay. Stayed here twice already and will be back next time in in this area. The location is very convenient and close to food, gas and other stores.

We had a great stay at the National 9. The lady at the check in desk was very friendly. The hotel is a little run down but it was clean. It was just what we needed for a quick stop. The breakfast was good. Cereal, toast, juices, waffles, and fruit.

It was rated7.2 and had breakfast. That was why we booked. No internet service. Very run down. Breakfast was warm coffee, warm water for instant porridge. Needs a total uplift. Very disappointed

Other than an issue with the bathtub and no hot water the stay was great. The staff was lovely. Check in and out was simple and the breakfast was great to get and go.

The staff that welcomed us was great. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom tub was stained so that was a downer. Area with beds was satisfactory. Breakfast was not inviting. We would stay there again. Probably give them a rating of 7.8

Pool & spa not working, broken down facility, needs lots of repairs in rooms. 3 ice makers, only 1 working. Continental bkfst, Cheerios, Fruit loops, waffles, bananas & coffee...very minimal. Would not stay there again...Maid was very friendly and helpful.

It seemed clean. Microwave and fridge in room. Good shower. Check in person could have been a bit more engaging. Breakfast: packaged mini donuts. Hard boiled eggs, instant oatmeal, cold cereal. Waffles were good. Bread. No meat but ok breakfast.

La prima camera ce l'hanno cambiata perché oltre ad esserci del cibo in frigorifero, non funzionava il wc. Nella seconda ho trovato ancora del cibo puzzolente in frigorifero, l'ho portato in reception e la ragazza ridendo mi ha chiesto di buttarlo perché non era suo. Chiaramente l'ho lasciato li. La notte è stata tragica, l'aria condizionata non rinfrescava però faceva un rumore intollerabile. La colazione poi scarsissima, niente di continentale. Motel tenuto male e puzzava anche in cortile. Credo chiuderà a breve. Lo sconsiglio

Breakfast was interesting to say the least. We went just after 6am when it was suppose to start. There was no one in the lobby, but the milk, juice, coffee, cereal, waffle maker, toast, and hard boiled eggs were all there. The milk was pretty sour, not just a little but bad. I knocked on a door that said employees only to see if someone could get more milk, but no one came. I left, and came back about 5 minutes later, but no one was in the lobby so we just left. Also, there was no blow dryer in our room. They may have had one in the office, but there was no one there to ask in the morning when it was needed. There was someone there when we arrived the evening before who checked us in. He was friendly, and we got checked in quickly.

The room was clean. However, you had an entire room lit by one light fixture, no bedside light, so it felt a bit dark. The beds were fine and the bedding was clean. The pool wasn’t available and I am not sure where it was. The breakfast was a waffle machine, cold cereal, boiled eggs, and mini packages of donuts. We ate waffles only. Parking was plentiful and we were down a ways from other guests so we didn’t hear them and they didn’t hear us.
