I’m gunna start with the fact that parts are still under construction (remodel). Our room was huge, but lacked a place for clothes (no dresser, no drawers anywhere or hangers even though there was a place that looked like it would be the “closet”. Our also didn’t have a hair dryer, a bath mat towel, or silverware (there were things to cook with & eat off but no utensils). NONE of this made much difference for us, it didn’t impact our stay in a negative manner & we would stay here again! Breakfast was simple, loved the waffle maker, good location not far from things at all (lots to do in either direction).

When I booked the room, the website said that there would be a heated pool, full service restaurant, bar, and free wi-fi. The pool restaurant and bar will all being renovated and not available. The Wi-Fi was very sketchy. It was very difficult to watch a TV show. The bed was comfortable and the shower was very nice. When we went to get our complimentary breakfast, the food was fresh, hot, and tasty, but there was no hot water available for tea. When we asked for hot water, we were given warm tap water. We will never stay at the lake House resort in Angola again.

Hotel is in the middle of the remodel and there is no amenities except breakfast. That was what it was, understanding that the hotel is not busy since it is a work in progress. There is no cable tv and internet is very spotty. No ice machines were available. Also, there is no pool or gym due to the remodel. The rooms were clean. So for a quick stopover hotel is nice.

Hotel was under remodel, they do not have a lounge now as well. They for sure need to update there website. Was alittle discouraged with the construction.
