Road trip through here and booked this last minute. Didn't know what the surroundings were until morning light. It was quiet,beautiful and staff were wonderful. The hot tub after the long road trip felt great.

The staff were so friendly and kind after a long drive. The hot tub was cozy and perfect size for us as a couple. The rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable, and I was delighted by the amount of counter space for personal care items in the bathroom. Plus, the black out blinds were a nice touch. We’d definitely stay here again!

It is easy to access from the highway. Room was clean. Hot tub room was clean. We greatly appreciated having the third bed. Staff were friendly. The food at the Grizzly Food Shack was yummy. Breakfast was good. Muffins, toasy, croissants, yogurt, coffee, etc . Only dislike was walking through smoke from smokers that were seated outside the exit in the patio area. We would stay here again

A nice hotel, well maintained and comfortable. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel has a nice outside seating area with gas fire to relax after a long drive. Nice continental breakfast. I would gladly stay there again.

Great property! Very clean . The rooms are nice and clean. Comfortable bed. The staff was friendly and helpful. Nice continental breakfast. Loved the bran muffins. They were very accommodating for our small dog. The hotel is close to the highway but nice and quiet. We would stay there again.

Not much dining options, and very slow at the grizzly shack, waited 35 mins to place an order and I was the only person in line there. The bathroom shower has mold and water damage stains on the ceiling. Should provide drinking water.

The staff was very friendly and nice, and the lodge had a cute vibe, but... The sheets had stains, and the bathroom had a very strong urine? smell. The walls are pretty thin and we heard every coming and going all night, dogs barking, and some people screaming obscenities at each other at 5am. We got the room to break up a road trip and get some sleep... We did not get a very good rest at all and would have been better off to just drive straight through.

Our first time spending an overnight in Blue River. We have passed through several times so decided to book a room here instead of Valemount. The price is reasonable, the check-in was smooth, attendant very courteous. Beds clean, comfortable, the whole facility is clean and welcoming.

Very clean and modern motel. Friendly staff greeted me when I arrived. Very quiet building. Never once heard any of the other guests. Included a basic continental breakfast. Not a single thing to complain about.

The staff were friendly, the bed oh so comfortable, thick towels, and lots of space in room, which also included a table and chairs and fridge. Free breakfast of hot drinks, cereal, yogurts, juices, fruit cups, breads, peanut butter and jam. This was such a nice perk as didn't have to go out in search of breakfast.

The only reason for a 4 star rating is the Air Conditioner doesn't work very well and while I was eating breakfast, I heard other guests saying the same thing. It was too warm to get a good sleep even with good beds and linens

Very nice. Our room was on the main floor, and our big picture window faced the forest! We felt like we were in a cabin in the woods! The beds were large and comfy. Lots of pillows.The bathroom was small but nice. I enjoyed the shower. Lots of fluffy towels. The a/c unit was older and a bit loud, but we were able to open the little windows below the main window, and got fresh, cool air that way. Very pleasant. Our room was super quiet! (except for the little fridge that kept making intermittent sounds, and it disturbed my husband's sleep) We enjoyed the continental breakfast in the lobby area. The coffee was very good, and the muffins were fresh & delicious. The staff we encountered were all friendly and helpful. The property is clean and well cared for. We felt safe. We'll stay there again, for sure!

I stayed at the Glacier Mountain Lodge and overall had a pleasant experience. The bed was very comfortable, the A/C worked great, and I really appreciated the Tyneham bath products they provided. The room was clean, although the furniture was dated — most pieces were in decent condition, but the coffee table could have used a fresh coat of paint to cover noticeable wear and tear. The outside sitting area offered a nice view, even with the highway nearby, though it wasn’t ideal having smokers use the same space. There’s no on-site restaurant, but the Grizzly Food Shack next door served excellent food. The included continental breakfast was disappointing, especially with no protein options, but you could purchase a much better breakfast at the Grizzly Shack. The price felt a bit high, but still more affordable than staying in Valemount or Jasper. Overall, a clean and comfortable place to stay with friendly touches, but some areas could use improvement.

We reserved a room to accommodate 5, but on check in were told that they gave our room away so we had to fit in a room for 4 (with one child on a cot we brought with us luckily). Someone was smoking indoors. TV was small and very dark so hard to see.

The hotel is very conveniently located along the highway really great dining options along the road. The highlight of the hotel is actually the staff 20 at the front entrance was so kind and so nice gave us great suggestions of things to check out and then breakfast in the morning was your standard continental but the staff that was running in the morning was equally as kind very quick to restock items and to make sure that people had a good night and knew where they’re going, etc.

This was the best place I stayed on my visit to BC. The front deck gentleman was very personable and friendly. Hewas very accomodating putting on the firepit when the sun went down.I would definitely stay at this lovely place again.

This hotel is right in the middle of mountains. It isn’t fancy but it is very clean. Breakfast was continental but decent for sure. Hot tub looked well maintained and area also looked well kept. We didn’t end up using it. Beds were comfy, area is quiet, staff is friendly.

Great staff that were very helpful and friendly. The Lodge is nothing fancy but the beds are comfortable and the room was clean and well maintained. The Continental breakfast was filling and a great way to start our adventure on Murtle Lake. The Lodge is right off the highway, but I didn't hear any traffic noise during the night -- though we did have the A/C running. :)

The food shack that is on the same property looks run down.. But don't let it fool you... The food is amazing.. I would drive out of my way just for another burger. And the room was clean and the front desk gentleman was very helpful.. But mostly just go for the food..
