Ramon Suites by Smart Hotels

The place didn’t meet our expectations - there was mold in the bathroom, the sofa was stained, the safe was not connected to the wall, there was no angers , the pictures of the hotel on the website didn’t match the reality. The pool seemed to be bigger than the picture, the room seemed to be newer. The breakfast was the only thing that was good.

Hôtel bien placé (près de la promenade, le long du cratère). Au calme. Chambre très spacieuse mais pas meublée "dernier cri". Tout était propre et fonctionnel. Personnel de l'accueil souriant. Et super bonus, le petit-déjeuner avec une multitude de produits délicieux (salé, sucré, ....) et faits maison. Excellent café (sauf le samedi où la machine est fermée). Il y a énormément de sorties à faire dans le désert (à se renseigner avec un guide). J'ai adoré ma soirée astronomie dans le cratère avec Naomi, une super guide francophone qui habite à Mizpe Ramon. Elle est vraiment passionnée. Je recommande vivement, (naomibamidbar.com/f/). Le ciel du désert est impressionnant et on a pu voir des planètes et bien d'autres choses à travers son télescope. Bravo pour sa pédagogie. Mention spéciale également pour le restaurant Sumsumiya. Pensez à réserver à l'avance pour pouvoir y diner.

This is a perfectly adequate location from which to explore Mitzpe Ramon. It is not particularly fancy (as others have said, there are no elevators and all rooms require you to carry luggage up the stairs), the rooms are old, and the walls are thin. With that said, it is clean and the staff are kind, the breakfast had many options, and the location is fantastic. We really just used the room to sleep, and what they offered was more than enough.
