Come and breathe in the fresh air and nature at La Ferme de la Côte, at the confluence of the Eure and Seine rivers, on the edge of the Bord forest and a stone's throw from the ponds of this magnificent bend in the Seine. Step through the superb entrance gate and take a plunge into the past: the origins of this property, a former farmhouse, date back to the 17th century, and the whole place exudes charm with its white stone, brick, and half-timbering. Just like this gîte, restored and furnished by Jean-Marc, who has preserved the house's soul: you'll find timber framing and exposed beams, the old bread oven with its brick wall, as well as furniture sourced from local antique shops or repurposed with his own finds. The result is charming and welcoming, comfortable and well-equipped. Your host knows the region perfectly and will be happy to advise you on outings. Explore the heritage sites of Pont-de-l'Arche or Poses, discover nature at the bird sanctuary, or enjoy the fun at Biotropica. The ground-floor entrance opens onto the dining room with a fireplace. A few steps away is the well-equipped kitchen, set in the former bread oven. On the other side, two steps lead down to a bright and comfortable living room (TV). On the first floor, the "Bird Room" features a double bed (160x200 cm) and lovely valley views. Also on this level, the "Nature Room" offers a double bed and the same view. A bathroom includes a double vanity, a large shower, and a washing machine area, plus a separate toilet. On the second floor, the third bedroom, with sloping ceilings, remains very functional and includes a double bed, a single bed, and children's toys. The cottage adjoins Jean-Marc's house but is completely detached, with a private terrace at the front and a garden of about 600 m² overlooking the valley. The GR222 hiking trail and cycle path are 500 m away, with many outdoor activities nearby, including fishing.
