Truly one of the best hotels we stayed in in a three week trip through Tuscany. The room was bright and airy with a super comfortable bed, lovely view, and excellent bathroom. The location couldn’t be better!

Firstly it's in a great location right inside the beautiful town of Luca. Please note there may not be anyone around when you check in. Their website says there is someone there between the hours of 3pm to 6.30pm but we didn't see anyone and believe it is false advertising for the owner to put that down in his website.. Therefore please have your passport to scan and follow the instructions. I would much rather see humans but automated entry seems to be the way it's going. Everything is fine unless you have issues which we did. The main issue was the lack of hot water which made showering impossible unless you like intermittent cold with a little hot every now and again. I sent email requests before arriving which weren't answered and then asked for the hot water issue to be fixed but no reply. After 4 hours without reply I decided to call via WhatsApp and thankfully the owner answered and came to the apartment. He tried to say that the water issue wasn't a problem but I got him to look in the boiler room and he eventually agreed that it was at the wrong setting and fixed it. We also asked for coffee and tea which wasn't provided even though we they provided lots of sugar. But the next day we still didn't get coffee. It's only a small thing but it felt like we were an inconvenience to the manager for asking. I don't usually complain but felt necessary to leave a poor review. So if you have to contact the manager contact him via WhatsApp..hotels.com messaging doesn't work

We were only in the area for one day, so we chose this hotel purely for convenience and somewhere to rest. Unfortunately, the experience was terrible from the moment we arrived. When we got there, the front door was locked, which was already unusual. I checked the Hotels.com app to see if I had missed any instructions, but there was nothing helpful. I repeatedly called the contact number listed and got no response. Eventually, I received a message from the hotel via the app with a door code and some vague instructions. Inside, there was no receptionist just a very basic self check-in machine. After entering my details, I was unexpectedly asked to pay an additional €60 on top of what I had already paid. This was never mentioned beforehand. I tried calling every number provided, but again, no one answered. It got to a point where we did not even check in, and had to leave the area which wasted both out money and time. I then received an email, to ask us to review our check in process, which we did not even complete. Overall, the lack of communication, hidden charges, and poor check-in process made this a very frustrating experience. Avoid this hotel at all costs.
