There was nothing listed about needing to have $100 deposit for any problems with the room. I've heard of having a credit card on file but not taking $100 and then holding on to it for multiple days. It's been a few days since I've had my trip and I still don't have my $100 back. I'm attaching images from the hotel roomie stayed in the curtains looked like I hope a food sub since on them otherwise it was a bodily function there was black mold in the bathroom. There was different stains and blemishes throughout the room. We were not aware that the pool was closed that was the main reason that we stayed at this location there was nothing posted that the pool was closed in advance. Breakfast is only until 9:30. Overall very disappointed the room was not clean the staff was absolutely nasty. I would avoid this hotel at all costs. It was close to what we needed so it worked. However between the dirtiness and the unfriendly staff I wouldn't recommend staying at this hotel

Terrible check-in process; Pool was out of service, which was never conveyed. Checked in on the app 24 hrs in advance. Checked in at 130pm upon arrival and had to physically check in a 3rd time at 7pm when the room was FINALLY ready. Broken tiles laying in our room (highly doubt it was even cleaned prior to stay). Toilet was dirty. Requested extra pillows and blankets and was handed one pillow and blanket at the front desk and told "this is the best we can do" and "no one else is here to help so you'll need to come back at midnight when the next shift starts to ask for anything else." Place was a ridiculously overpriced joke which is a shame because location is great in relation to PNC Park. Needless to say we won't be back.

The rooms were very clean. The staff was so nice and accommodating. We didn't use the pool. The fitness room looked well maintained. I noticed there were washers and dryers on some of the floors, which was a great addition and you don't see everywhere. Proximity to the baseball field can't be beat! Easily walkable to restaurants and access to highway was perfect.

We picked this hotel because of the proximity to PNC Park. The rooms were very nice. And had lots of good amenities. You need to advise that parking is $27 per day. Couldn't find plates, cups, mugs until I looked in the dishwasher. That would have been nice know when I checked in. Would have been nice to have wine and beer for sale. No store nearby. Breakfast was good. Decent selection, hot, kept stocked. Coffee was excellent. Strong and hot.

This hotel is wonderful if you are planning to watch baseball games. It’s just across the street from PNC park. We did not get enough towels and it took several calls to get more. There is not service for rooms (we were told every other day but we had 0 days of service). The pool is very small. The breakfast area is very crowded and they ran out of food. Parking is $25 per day and very easy next to the hotel. Even with the few negatives we would stay here again due to the convenience.

Our room had crumbs all over the floor and on the end tables. The end tables weren't wiped down and there was a pool of water in the tub when we arrived. We had a small kitchenette and the dishes were all extremely dirty as well as the dishwasher itself was dirty on the inside.

Nothing unique. Paid for a King bed, was in a queen. Bed was saggy and old. When I pull the sheets aside to check the size of the bed, there was somebody else's black body hair under this sheet. It was disgusting. The bathroom was also dirty. Very upsetting.

This hotel is in a great location for a sports game but that is where the positives end. Our microwave didn’t work. Our bathroom door had to be shimmied and slammed to shut properly. The sheets for the pull out bed were ragged and dirty. The bed was thin and we could feel the springs. The curtains on both sets of windows were out of track and so they would not close completely. The cleanliness of the rooms left much to be desired. I was surprised this hotel was under the Marriott name. I’ve been in many residence inns and this was the dingiest one I’ve ever been in. I would not stay here again until after their renovation. Also safety felt like an issue. We asked for more towels because our room didn’t come with enough and the person who delivered them had no name tag or anything. It seemed to be someone’s friend who brought them up to our room. How this hotel has a semi decent rating on this website is stunning.

The property is conveniently located to Baseball & Football venues and is an easy walk to dinning as well. That being said the property is filthy and management is unapologetic for it. the rooms are old run down and dirty. this place needs an overhaul at every level. if you expect a clean room and facility for top dollar accommodations look elsewhere.

Had to dock a star due to the extremely loud AC unit in the room. Thankfully we brought earplugs and we only stayed one night. The room was otherwise great, nice setup, comfy bed. Staff were all pleasant. We got to breakfast 15 minutes before buffet closed and the eggs were so dried out as to be inedible BUT they offer gluten free muffins which was awesome. Would recommend.

Staff was helpful and friendly. Our room was dated in some aspects, updated in others; I think they are trying to improve. Staff said they are under new management. Was worried about our stay based on some reviews, but overall the room was fine. The little store was not well stocked. The area is amazing as long as you stay on the same side of the freeway; Pirates stadium is literally across the street and tons of dining options nearby. Many sightseeing spots are walking distance. River is also very close with nice wide walking paths. We loved our stay in Pittsburgh and would definitely return!

I booked this room months in advance. I arrived and first thing I noticed was a carpet tack strip with nails on the floor. This was unsafe to walk anywhere close to the area without shoes on. Next I noticed the it seemed warm in my room. I contacted the front desk and they sent an "engineer" to our room he did absolutely nothing other than turn the breaker off and turn the thermostat off then back on. He said he would let the front desk know. I called down to the front desk after waiting 40 minutes to hear back and they said there was nothing they could do because they were booked up and I would be compensated for my issues.I then turned the TV on and we only had about 7 grainy channels. I seen that the receiver was hooked up wrong and fixed this issue myself knowing that no one in the hotel would be any to help due to none of the previous issues being addressed. Me and my son spent the rest of the evening watching where we walked in the hotel room and sitting in an 85 to 90 degree room with no airflow. It was absolutely awful would not recommend to a friend 0 out of 10.

The bed mattress was garbage. Springs weren't poking through the fabric but it was pretty close. The breakfast was good. I didn't go to the pool because there were many kids enjoying it. I did enjoy the location and private parking which was extra but that was ok. It could be noisy as there were some folks street racing. I was able to walk to pretty much everywhere or I could've used public transportation. The a/c worked very well and the coffee was decent. The TV was a little wonky to figure out. The staff were pleasant and accommodating. The grocery store within a half mile had an armed guard in tactical body armor

Room was a great size, had a mini kitchen and ahd everything you could need for the perfect getaway. Sadly the closet doors were off the tracks and could not be put back on. Personally did not need it, did tell the front desk though. They have a great breakfast. Was warm and fresh.

The advertised that there is parking for 1 car per room. When we checked in- there was NO parking left. The front desk staff said "they must be sneaking people in" and did absolutely nothing about it. They had a lobby full of people upset people and didn't even care. I'm guessing this happens every time there is an event. There was no compensation for having to park BLOCKS away and pay more. The rooms were dated and dirty. The lobby was nice (but dirty). Would never stay there again or recommend this place to anyone.

The location of the hotel is amazing for going to a Pirates game (which we did). The staff appeared somewhat disorganized and the computer systems were not always working. The staff did respond promptly when my air conditioning was not working in my room. They gave an option to wait for maintenance to attempt to fix it or to move rooms. Since we had just arrived we just moved to a new room (and the A/C worked great). The main bed in our suite was amazing, super comfortable!

This was our 4th stay at the hotel Previous stays were fine. This was not. We had two rooms. Ours didn’t look like it had been cleaned. The other room was terrible. The mattress of the sofa bed for our grandkids was soiled. The one sheet for the sofa bed was stained. The blanket was soiled. I complained at 4:5 pm and asked for a clean sheet and blanket. They said they would take care of it. By 9:45 pm it was not taken care of. I went to the desk and they said “any minute”. Twenty minutes later I went down and they said “any minute”. At that point I said forget it — our grandkids needed to sleep. I pulled stuff off the bed in another room for them. At 11:15 pm the staff woke everyone up with “linens”. I don’t know what’s going on with this hotel, but we are never staying there again

We came into town for the Steelers game. Pros: Great location, close to stadium and free continental breakfast with very friendly staff ensuring you have everything you need. Cons: Front desk staff was not very knowledgeable in regards to the usage of 3rd party sites- would not allow spouse to check in although we have same name and address- haven’t heard that one before. Paid parking was listed in the fine print of the booking - $30/day beware of this as front desk staff did not mention this either and asked me to swipe my card for damages upon check in. No hot water on game day. No apology or updates regarding the situation. Our room was not very clean, especially compared to my parents similar room down the hall- there were white stains on the couch, hair on the bathroom floor and a hole in the artwork on the wall. Like I said great location and nice place overall but for the price and Marriott name I expected more.

Terrible check-in process; Pool was out of service, which was never conveyed. Checked in on the app 24 hrs in advance. Checked in at 130pm upon arrival and had to physically check in a 3rd time at 7pm when the room was FINALLY ready. Broken tiles laying in our room (highly doubt it was even cleaned prior to stay). Toilet was dirty. Place was a ridiculously overpriced joke which is a shame because location is great in relation to PNC Park. Needless to say we won't be back.

Room was clean, staff could not handle the amount of people that was checking in for George Straight concert and other events that were happening. NO PARKING was available while paid when reservation was made. Was told to go find a parking lot to park to park our vehicle in. Those lots were full and could cost over an extra 100.00 to park. The manger left the guy standing at the front desk to while he was looking at the parking lot. The clerk had no idea what to do.

Justin was a kind, friendly and helpful check-in guy. So was Ryan. The girl with braids we checked out with was a bit curt. Breakfast staff was super friendly and helpful. The gentleman that held up the lid so I could help myself to the scrambled eggs and the guy who brought me turkey sausage--cheers for your kindness. Maintenance guy was very polite as well. Place was clean and overall a great experience. Pool was warm which stinks because it's the one time I didn't have time to swim! Recommended....

Honestly, the only thing that wasn’t up to par was the check-in and parking process. There were three terminals but only one hotel employee checking people in at 6:30pm on a Saturday night so I feel the hotel was simply understaffed. It took over 30 minutes to check in and I had to move my truck twice due to the congestion in the small roundabout area behind the hotel entryway. There was no sense of urgency with a line of people at least 10 deep to check in and thankfully I didn’t have plans at a specific time that evening or else I would not have made it to a game or dinner reservation on time as a result of the slow pace when a typical check-in takes about five minutes or so as all you’re doing is showing ID and swiping your credit card for incidental charges. Otherwise the room was large, clean, and accommodating, and the location is fantastic as it’s within walking distance to many restaurants and bars and the two stadiums on the north shore. I would highly recommend this hotel to friends but also caution them to arrive with ample time to check in and get settled prior to any scheduled event they may have going on.

Had to dock a star due to the extremely loud AC unit in the room. Thankfully we brought earplugs and we only stayed one night. The room was otherwise great, nice setup, comfy bed. Staff were all pleasant. We got to breakfast 15 minutes before buffet closed and the eggs were so dried out as to be inedible BUT they offer gluten free muffins which was awesome. Would recommend.

Great hotel outside of the Pirates ballpark. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and surprisingly quiet, even though it's located next to the freeway. The water cooler was not working but the front desk provided bottled water. Breakfast is ok, I wish they had some fruit.

Location is great since we were in town for a Pirates game, the front desk service is was okay. The breakfast was TERRIBLE! There were hardly any options, the drinks were HORRIBLE (something was off with the machine), there was only man working the breakfast and he wasn’t friendly in the slightest. The picture of the garage is right in the area where you eat, it sat there for our entire trip.

Just 1 night for a game. Friendly staff and clean room. No to-go cups or sugar for coffee and nothing available downstairs. Thats a huge problem for us but only big issue. The street noises were bad as well. The refurbishing coming in 26 is needed but if they get the coffee situation sorted, nothing would stop us from staying again. The afternoon staff was above the average.

Excellent location if attending a game at PNC Park. You can practically touch the stadium. Location is also good if you want to walk to restaurants. I feel as though the breakfast options are getting less and less at Residence Inns. At this particular time it was very crowded. One or two waffle makers don’t cut it with the time it takes to use them and the amount of people who want them. For the price per night that you get gauged for wanting to stay here to see a baseball game Marriott could … maybe come up with a better breakfast system.

We picked this hotel because of the proximity to PNC Park. The rooms were very nice. And had lots of good amenities. You need to advise that parking is $27 per day. Couldn't find plates, cups, mugs until I looked in the dishwasher. That would have been nice know when I checked in. Would have been nice to have wine and beer for sale. No store nearby. Breakfast was good. Decent selection, hot, kept stocked. Coffee was excellent. Strong and hot.

Horrible experience, we got to the hotel to check in at 4:10 just to be told our room was not ready, we waited until 5:30 for our room to finally be ready just to be given keys to someone else’s room. We walked in and someone else’s belongings were in the room. We finally got in our room at 5:45. The breakfast was just pastries, fruit and waffles. Will probably not stay here again
