Could hear people running in the room above us at all hours of the night and early in the morning, this was very disruptive. I’d expect better for 200 a night. Also, the fitness center is definitely below average for hotel fitness centers. Staff were helpful for what it was worth and the breakfast seemed good.

Hyatt House is our go to when we visit family in Shelton. Centrally located, good breakfast, nice rooms, we've never had a bad experience here

Staff was great very helpful. There was lots of construction going, but it wasn’t a bother to me at all, glad to see they were putting money in on renovations.. Breakfast was spectacular, one of the better breakfasts that I’ve had on this month-long road trip that I’m on right now. Had a few hiccups in the beginning they put us in a room where the AC was not working on a day that was like 100° out. They told us that it takes about 30 minutes to cool down… and I will tell you that I think there’s something weird going on in New York state and Connecticut where they have these sensors that only turn the AC on the moment it has movement because this was not the only hotel that I had this issue with, but this was the only hotel room that never got cooler.. three hours later it was still 85° in the room thankfully they were able to switch us to another room after that that was cool. Was also a little disappointed that their Jacuzzi was filled in with cement since when I booked the hotel I was going off of old pictures that were not updated on Hotels.com so I specifically booked the hotel for the use of the Jacuzzi during my stay. .. but other than that I enjoyed the stay, enjoyed the breakfast and the polite staff.

Everything was great, just outside the door in the hallway there was plastic looks like they were patching up the walls and painting. Not a complaint at all because again everything was great, maybe just give a heads up to guests staying on the floor
