Excellent friendly service. Clean room. Good breakfast. Free parking across street. Restaurant was good. Only a few hundred feet from walled city.

Property was close to the center 10 min walk. Bathroom was good size and the room was good size too. The worst part our room was on the top (third) floor with no elevator too difficult to go up after walking around the town.

子供2、大人2の4人での滞在だったが フェイスタオルが2枚のみだった。 収納スペース、 コートかけなどは たくさんあり、よかった。 シャワーブースしかないのが残念だが シャワーブースが少し高くなっており 水が床まで流れてこないのが良い。 部屋にテーブルと椅子があり くつろげるが カップが紙コップのみなので残念。 鍵でなくコードでのロックなのも便利。 チェックインが3時だが12:30に入れてよかった。 チェックアウトが12時なのも良い。 駐車場が１泊15€は高い。

The positive was that it was clean smd close to the market. If you have any issues with stairs, this is not the place for you.

We are from Canada, travelling in Germany. We stayed one night in Rothenburg. We liked the hotel and the room. It is a historical building, very old. So expect a very small bathroom and no air conditioner. The only thing I would recommend to the hotel management is to change pillows. Those were really bad. Everything else was great including absolutely delicious buffet breakfast. The location of the hotel is perfect. It is only 10 minutes walk from the old town. Hotel has a free parking. We would like to thank hotel management for their good time at the hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Gastof Post! As a family of 5 (2 adults travelling with 3 teenagers) it is not easy to find accommodations where we can all be together, but our room was perfect! While not directly in the walled part of town, it isn’t even 10 minutes walk to get there, and it kept us out of some of the hustle and bustle. There is a lovely restaurant as well attached to the hotel. If you have mobility concerns, it may not be the best option, as there is no elevator, but that fact was well advertised so we knew ahead of time that we would be climbing stairs, and that wasn’t a problem for us. Very clean, HUGE bathroom in room 33. An excellent and affordable option!

Them proper was a bit dated. No AC and had to climb two sets of stairs with luggage. Location was good, and staff were nice though.

In the other hand, in the 40 years of travelling around the world, and particularly in Europe, I have never been allocated such a small room - which had no view at all. I don’t expect too much when I am simply looking to get a decent night’s sleep, but this did feel claustrophobic.

Die Stadt ist wunderschön und der direkt gegenüber gelegene kostenfreie Parkplatz sehr praktisch. Beim Betreten der Unterkunft fühlte man sich dann bereits 50 Jahre in die Vergangenheit versetzt und das Zimmer, welches uns als „Upgrade“ gegeben wurde, hätte höchstens die Hälfte des Preises verdient. Ja, es gab ein Bett und einen Fernseher. Jedoch war das Bett bereits sehr abgenutzt, das Zimmer anscheinend seit Jahrzehnten nicht hergerichtet (wobei dies angeblich demnächst passieren soll) und bei dem winzig kleinen Bad mit dunklen Flecken (Schimmel?) an der Duschwand habe ich mir dreimal überlegt, ob ich nun wirklich duschen will. Das Frühstück hingegen war Preis-Leistungstechnisch gut.

This property was perfect for our stay. Very close to the train station. The hotel is clean and fantastic. The host is very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Very clean property, our room was very modern and had been updated recently, only a 5 minute walk from the train station and a 5 minute walk into the walled city.

Alter eines Gebäudes kann charmant sein wenn es gepflegt und fachmänisch in Schuß gehalten wird . Leider ist es bei diesen Hotel nicht der Fall. alt ist hier halt alt, dazu auch noch kaputt. Ich habe ein Einzelzimmer gehabt mit Waschbeken ( mit lockerer und schiefer Ablage) und Dusche (70x70 , benutzbar leider nur 40x70 ) mitten im Schlafraum repariert marke Heimwerker. Das separate WC ( Fliesen 1960 und nicht mehr alle vorhanden mit nicht funktionierender Heizung). Leider war auch kein Rollo vorhanden nur eine Verdunklungsgardiene um den Blicken der Hauses gegenüber ( keine 10 m) zu entgehen. Das Frühstück ( für 12 ,-€ ) bestand aus : Kaffe oder Tee, zwei Säften zur Auswahl ein paar Müssslisorten Schnittsemmel oder Brotscheiben Butter, ein Paar Mermeladen, Honig,... Wurst und Käse leider nur sehr begrenzt und wurde auch nicht aufgefüllt , ab 9:00 recht übersichtliche Reste. Da bekommt man z.B. im Brothaus ein paar Hundert meter weiter ein echt Super Frühstück mit diesen nicht zu vergleichen.

Entendiendo qué tipo de alojamiento es, su precio y la ubicación, es una buena opción. Se puede llegar caminando al centro en cinco minutos, aparcar tampoco es complicado. No es un lugar lujoso pero está limpio y perfectamente atendido. Si buscas una opción razonable en precio, es tu lugar. Si buscas algo moderno y lujoso, quizá no.

Staff was very nice, breakfast delicious, excellent location near the train station and 5 min walk to the entrance. However, the room was really small and didn't like the bathroom - extremely small and no ventilation - water sink was outside of it, in the same space as the bed.

This hotel has a great location, and seemed to have decent reviews, so we booked the family suite for a recent trip to Rothenburg. When we went up to our room, the first thing that struck me was the overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke. It is a non-smoking room, but you are able to smoke on the balcony, so I don’t know if someone was smoking in the room before us or if the smell carried in from the balcony, but it was bad. The other issue was the stifling temperature - it was well over 90 degrees in the room and only had a floor fan to compensate for the heat. The last straw was the bathroom door. It was a sliding glass door, but the frosting only covered parts of the door so you could see through into the bathroom. Not ideal with a family of five. The room was too hot for anyone to sleep, and the cigarette smell too strong for us to stay there, so I had to scramble to find a different hotel in Rothenburg (where I had to book 2 rooms to fit us all). I had booked the room for 2 nights, and I was totally willing to pay for the first night. But given the issues I thought they would surely let me check out the next day and not charge me for the second night. I was wrong…they made me pay for 2 nights in an uninhabitable room that we never stayed in. I get that they can’t control the weather, and its not unusual to have non-air conditioned rooms in that area. But the other issues are within their control and I was shocked that they still made me pay for both nights.

8/10 stars is rather generous as a rating for this hotel. The building has seen better days and the space was a little tight. However, the staff was nice and the location was good for being near the old city but not directly in it. Take a look at photos before you book.

The room is basic with ancient tiny tv and water stained ceiling. The problem generally is that it is noisy. You hear every car. Birds chirp at 4am on. The floor creaks. They were doing road work outside. They put me in between the creaky staircase and some room that they had some machine connected to. They started screwing around in it at 8am. Needless to say i dont feel like rewarding them giving me such an insultingly bad room. The thin curtains let in light. Almost worthless. The shower was tiny and the nozzle was half clogged. The maids started making noise early. Close to city but you wont get much sleep here.

Easy walk from train station to inside wall for Christmas Markets. A BIG ISSUE WAS WI-FI…IT DID NOT WORK IN ROOM. I mentioned to last at desk but was disregarded.

Alles war sehr sauber. Das Hotel ist 8 Gehminuten von der Innenstadt entfernt! Sehr herzlich, freundlich und zuvorkommend von der Wirtin bis zum Personal! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Hotel is located bang on a main road , a crossing. Rooms with front road view are not comfortable as all night you hear sound of passing traffic. My stay was without breakfast but they even did not give basic eminities like dental kit, tea coffee maker in the room. I hope they will improve by the time.

정말 좋았습니다! 저는 홀로 묵었는데 편하고 좋았어요. 화장실 깨끗합니다. 직원분들 매우 친절하시고 숙소 위치가 정말 최고입니다. 요즘 폭염이 정말 심한데 첫날 돌아다니기 힘들 정도였어요. 죽겠다 싶었는데 숙소 덕분에 좋았어요 숙소에서 쉬다가 마을 가고 그럴 수 있는 거리라 너무 행복했습니다 저는 2박을 묵어서 둘째날도 숙소를 그런 식으로 이용할 수 있었어요 마을 한참 돌아다니다가 돌아오고 20분 쉬다가 다시 나가고 이런식으로 계속 반복했습니다 이 가격에 이렇게 묵어서 매우 만족합니다 >꿀팁은 아침에 마을에 꼬옥 가세요! 당일치기로 많이 오는 곳이라그런지 아침에 정말 한산한데 시원하고 그냥 너무 좋습니다 일찍 일어나 성벽 따라 걸으며 느낀 모든 정취 못잊을거같아요 요즘 더운데 숙소덕분에 이틀간 매우 알차게 마을을 느꼈어요 >조식 추천합니다 느끼한거 잘 안맞아서 전날 저녁도 빵으로 때우고 조식을 먹었는데 정말 좋았습니다 독일 햄이랑 삶은 계란도 포함되어있었는데 좋았어요 커피 진짜 맛있었습니다. 10유로이고 아침 산책하고 와서 오래 여유롭게 드시면 딱입니다 저는 시간 착각으로 늦게 갔는데도 정말 친절하게 대해주셔서 감사했어요 :> > 숙소에서 가까운거리에 kau? 암튼 큰 마트가 있어요. (역 반대편에) 물같은거 사기에 좋았습니다!
