Excellent hosts in a quiet location. Ideal for our purposes. We were also made to feel very much at home by the non human residents, Boris in particular. Thankyou Doug and Adrian. Roger and Maureen Emmins

Splatthayes is a large, rambling old farmhouse style cottage beautifully kept and full of character, including the two hosts (apologies, I can't remember their names!) who clearly love what they do. There are thoughtful touches everywhere. Gorgeous made to order breakfast. Chickens in the well tended garden. The bed was really comfortable. Bit of a home from home really, Would definitely stay again.
