La ferme offre de belles vues sur la campagne et beaucoup d'espace!

I have had my eye on The Farmhouse for the past couple of years. Our kids attend Benedictine College. We've stayed in Atchison/Troy previously, both with good experiences. We needed a place for our son's graduation, and I liked the idea of being in the "country". It was such a lovely setting, even better than I expected with the house situated on high ground overlooking the fields. Not as convenient as being right in town, but we like to drive and enjoyed it very much! The peacefulness of being alone was a welcome change from suburban life! The home is really well-kept and includes many updates that made our stay extremely comfortable! I really loved the spaciousness of the living/dining area, the beautifully appointed bedrooms, and the nicely updated main bathroom upstairs. I'm high-maintenance when it comes to bathrooms, so the downstairs bath was a bit cramped for me but it offered everything that you could need, so it is great having that 2nd full bath that you don't often see in older properties. I appreciated the fully stocked kitchen since we do like to cook, and I found everything I needed. We didn't have time to enjoy the firepit or grill, but they had plenty of nice outdoor chairs, cute rockers on the porch, and folding chairs to surround a fire. I would call this an extremely charming, super comfortable, very relaxing place to get away from reality! Angela couldn't have been more helpful/attentive, and I congratulate her & her husband on a really lovely rental!

Great stay... lots and lots of laughs. The Farmhouse was clean, spacious and completely GREAT!

Lovely peaceful countryside farmhouse with plenty of space! This farmhouse reminded us of our Grandparents home on the farm where our Dad was raised, so when I saw it available on VRBO I knew it would be the perfect place to celebrate with our Dad for his 92nd Birthday! We prepared home cooked meals in the well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed meals together around the large dinner table, and afterwards played cards. Dad even taught us how to play “Cut Throat Pool Hall Pitch”. Dad grew up playing pitch, but somehow us 4 Sisters never learned till now. Appears you can teach an old dog new tricks! 😆 This memorable weekend for us and we are very grateful to the Angela and her Husband for sharing their beautiful home with us. I highly recommend this property.

The property itself is picture perfect. Great views too. Our whole group of 10, not a single complaint. We wanted for nothing. There was a plenty of extras of anything we needed or wanted, for example towels, bedding etc. It was extra nice to have the complimentary assortment of coffee flavors also high end shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap in the bathrooms. There was firewood ready to use for the firepit, and lawn games too. The host made it very easy to communicate with, and was beyond courteous. It's very welcoming and easy to check in and out of with perfect directions in house on how to do so. This BnB made me rethink ever paying for hotel stays again. Highly recommended.
