We recently stayed at the JW Marriott Marquis in West Bay for 6 nights, and our experience exceeded all expectations We were warmly welcomed by Samia (or Samira) at reception. She was professional, courteous. We had booked the Grand 3 Bedroom Apartment, and it truly lived up to its name. The apartment was incredibly spacious with: Two large bedrooms featuring queen-sized beds One room with two large twin beds A large living area with a partial sea view A fully equipped kitchen (electric hob, microwave, washing machine – though note, no washing powder provided) Breakfast was served at the Masa restaurant on the second floor, and the buffet was extensive, catering to a wide range of tastes: Special thanks to Sumon, who checked in with us daily to ensure we were enjoying our stay and always provided outstanding service, and also to Hein and Myratt for their outstanding service. We also dined at Fuego. Every dish — from the starters to the mains and desserts — was delicious. The staff especially Camilla were consistently attentive, friendly, and professional. Facilities & Amenities The pool, located on the 7th floor. Valet parking was seamless. The staff were always polite, prompt, and greeted us with a smile. I just returned to the UK after staying at this hotel and what a lovely place to stay. Where do i start… customer service for me is an absolute. The staff at this location were amazing….each and everyone of them…always smiling and willing to help. Some staff to mention include the tall security man as you walk in (sorry i didnt get his name but he was on duty on Sun night), to Emna the lady working at the coffee shop located on the ground floor. I travelled to Doha with my sister and my 8 year old. He is extremely fussy when it comes to found and Emna helped him choose the food and even brought out samples for him to try beforehand…i mean who does that!!! Fabulous service. Then there was Zakariya…always smiling and approachable .I cant thank him enough he helped me plan my visit to Doha and suggested great places to visit with my 8 year old. He suggested loads that i am already looking to revisit next month and complete the itenarary. I didnt have enough days. The staff at the pool were great and i had a facial by Grace and she was also amazing. The facilities were very clean. Only thing i would suggest a change would be the smell in my room. I have an extremely sensitive nose and i could smell a fairly damp smell on occasion when i entered the room. I did not complain about it as it was bearable but no doubt they would have done something about it. Breakfast was lovely and i even asked if i could order break fast on the go as i was leaving before 6am and they accommodated.

Great location attached to City Centre Doha Mall and close to DECC Metro. The service within the hotel is excellent and the buffet breakfast very good. The pool area is lovely (although seemed to get busy - it appears as though other hotels have use of the pool). My room was large and clean, but very dark and I had to use my phone torch to find things within the cupboards.

We had a wonderful stay at the JW Marriott Doha as a couple. Our room was on the 40th floor. Large, great bed and great view. A special highlight is the pool on the 7th floor. The best thing about the hotel, however, is the staff. Whether in room service, at the breakfast buffet, by the pool or at reception, the staff were always friendly, service-oriented and helpful! We would definitely recommend the JW Marriott Doha.

You get truly royal treatment. Food in Shanghai 43 is 10 . Straight access to shopping center. Best hotel I've ever stayed at! We especially appriciated the service-minded and helpful staff. Everyone were so kind, especially to kids. Was an amazing pool area, so beautiful. Only downside is that majority of the pool was closed of for kids under 18 (could have been smaller area just by the pool bar). We had half-board, included lunch/dinner at restaurant Fuego. Nice food and amazing staff. Breakfast was beyond amazing, best I've ever had, such good quality and many choices. Hotel was also conveniently located in connection to Doha city mall, so was easy to go for a quick shopping tour when needed. Had free access and shuttle to Doha beach club. We only went there once, pool area was so much better. Overall an amazing stay and will hopefully be back!

The service from the staff was amazing. This was probably our best hotel stay every - especially compared to other JW Marriot chains we have visited. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast service and selection. Each staff member made us feel welcomed, always greeted us with a smile and provided any support needed at any point. The staff went above and beyond when they heard it was our anniversary and ensured that our stay was the very best. We cannot thank you all enough. A special mention to: Anna Petra... (director) who ensured our service at the spa was second to none. Suja and Arif - thank you for making our room feel like a sanctuary. Habeeb and Oliver - thank you for the romantic setup for our anniversary. Shika and KK - thank you for the best massage treatment ever! Amina, ( male staff member at Pool Deck reception) and Ouamaima - thank you for being so friendly and warm when we needed your support. We're also grateful to the gentleman, possibly named Moche, at the shisha bar, whose attentiveness made our time at the Pool Deck truly enjoyable, especially when hosting guests. We're already looking forward to our next visit, inshaAllah. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable.

Staff was very nice and accommodating. Breakfast buffet was amazing. Had dinner at the Fuego restaurant in the hotel which was very good. Only problem was our room smelled a bit like stale smoke

Mycket rent och fräscht rum, rymligt! Fin utsikt mot city center. Rummet städades varje dag fläckfritt. Frukosten var över förväntan, så mycket orientaliskt att välja mellan- allt fräscht. All personal: städ, service, reception etc var strålande. Vi återvänder absolut tillbaka till detta hotell och rekommenderar det vidare med glädje!

Every employee was so nice! Especially Adrian at checkin. He let us check in a few hours earlier. The hotel itself is gorgeous, and the rooms are spotless. We didn’t get to use the amenities because we were out doing a desert safari for 5 hrs. The price was quite good considering the caliber of the hotel. I will definitely stay here in the future when I pass by Doha!

Great location attached to City Centre Doha Mall and close to DECC Metro. The service within the hotel is excellent and the buffet breakfast very good. The pool area is lovely (although seemed to get busy - it appears as though other hotels have use of the pool). My room was large and clean, but very dark and I had to use my phone torch to find things within the cupboards.

We had a wonderful stay at the JW Marriott Doha as a couple. Our room was on the 40th floor. Large, great bed and great view. A special highlight is the pool on the 7th floor. The best thing about the hotel, however, is the staff. Whether in room service, at the breakfast buffet, by the pool or at reception, the staff were always friendly, service-oriented and helpful! We would definitely recommend the JW Marriott Doha.

Excellent city center location. Hotel has entrance to mall. Lobby and Sridan staff were very friendly. Family dinner in Fuego was excellent and reasonably priced. We enjoyed taking our grandkids to the pool. Room was quiet and comfortable.

Everything was great once we checked in I was just not happy with Amro Mousa because they sent me a welcome message prior to my arrival and when I responded because we needed a special request they did not respond. Luckily the manager on duty when we checked in was excellent! Great customer service 5 stars across the board!!!

A special thank you to Mahmoud at check-in - his warm hospitality, attention to detail, and genuine care truly made a difference. He did everything he could to ensure we felt at home and had the best possible experience during our short stay in Doha. Fantastic service - the team were so accommodating, they could not have done any more for us. The breakfast options were outstanding - salsa? Juices, fresh Middle Eastern cuisine, curries, honey, fresh sourdough, so many options for croissants. They have lots of evening activities - the hotel was quiet and next to a shopping mall to walk around and do some shopping and also a second mall is available by walking through the underground station - lots of dining options and a great department store. Uber taxis very cheap. Highly recommended!

Every employee was so nice! Especially Adrian at checkin. He let us check in a few hours earlier. The hotel itself is gorgeous, and the rooms are spotless. We didn’t get to use the amenities because we were out doing a desert safari for 5 hrs. The price was quite good considering the caliber of the hotel. I will definitely stay here in the future when I pass by Doha!

We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast service and selection. Each staff member made us feel welcomed, always greeted us with a smile and provided any support needed at any point. (director) who ensured our service at the spa was second to none. Suja and Arif - thank you for making our room feel like a sanctuary. Habeeb and Oliver - thank you for the romantic setup for our anniversary. Shika and KK - thank you for the best massage treatment ever! The JW Marriott city Center in Doha did not disappoint at all. It was absolutely beautiful, spelled amazing, and was so connected to many things that we needed. Connected to Cory Center Mall without going outside. The large mall included A grocery store, many restaurants and many shops. It always was connected to the red line Metro. This is a great place to stay with beautiful ambience, beautiful finishes, and easy accessibility. I cannot wait to go back.

Business trip breakfast amazing and chef is very nice and attentive to details the hotel is a bit outdated and it feels like been sometimes not used smell in the rooms as if it’s been closed for long time not that it’s dirty it just felt not fresh

A very disappointing stay as we had booked for a Half board package for 4 days . Right from check in their was confusion on what this package actually perturbs to as we were told you can go to any restaurant within the hotel. This was not true as we found out as the half board package only allows you lunch at Fuegos for a very limited and repetitive menu . What was worse was the embarrassment on our first night with a group of 8 people being told that our package was not eligible for the restaurant . This is despite the restaurant not being busy at all at any time during our stay The half board package allows you to access to the "executive lounge" on the 42nd floor. The choice being 3 dishes that were appallingly put together in a small room with no choice at all. The food being kept warm on buffet heaters. On the second night we were told that the steak restaurant had run out steak - at this point we just laughed and went with what was available - again the restaurant empty and no point were we offered any drinks etc . Trying to talk to management was of no help as every manager was confused on what we had actually booked. Please also note that on Friday nights they have a nightclub in full flow that you can from Floor 30 and i mean loud The sunbeds are in an appalling state by being covered in bird excrement and you have to use covers in order to use them - Thank you to the pool team who are wonderful ! Breakfast team were brilliant - Thank you to all the team
