Nice hotel. Great location not far from city centre and next door to Little Tokyo, parking close to the hotel. WiFi poor signal in our room (basement) and tv not properly set with channels. Did not try the breakfast. A lot of options around Carlsplatz.

Unfassbar freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Schön eingerichtete Zimmer, tolles Frühstücksbuffet. Wir wurden von jedem Angestellten begrüßt, gefragt, wie wir geschlafen haben, es wurde uns Kaffee angeboten und Eieroptionen zum Frühstück. Schöner Garten mit wunderschönen Blumen und kleinem Teich. Allein wegen der Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeitern sehr zu empfehlen und würden jederzeit wieder buchen. Parkmöglichkeiten für Hotelgäste im Parkhaus. Parkerlaubnis vorab an der Rezeption abholen.

Vi fick fel rum och inget internet på rummet.Vi kom sent och rummet låg i en annan byggnad ,många trappor upp så att klaga så sent orkade vi tyvärr inte.Men att få fel rum när man betalat för ett större och bättre var en besvikelse.

Interesting hotel, split either side of the road (Lord one side, Lady the other). Reception in Lord. Very welcoming and helpful. Rooms all decorated differently. Clean and comfortable, reasonable size and useful storage. Good breakfast option. Easy walk to station and transport links.

Das Hotel hat uns rundum überzeugt! Die Einrichtung ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet – sowohl die Zimmer als auch die Gemeinschaftsbereiche sind stilvoll und sehr gemütlich. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Das Frühstück war hervorragend – frisch, vielseitig und geschmacklich wirklich top. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Personal, das unseren Aufenthalt zusätzlich angenehm gemacht hat. Ein kleiner Hinweis für zukünftige Gäste: Wenn man zu Fuß anreist, sollte man wissen, dass der Haupteingang eventuell auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite liegt – wir haben das zuerst nicht direkt erkannt. Und wer mit dem Auto kommt und sich in Düsseldorf nicht auskennt, sollte vorher nach einem geeigneten Parkplatz fragen. In unserem Fall war ein Parkhaus in unmittelbarer Nähe vorhanden, sogar mit Tiefgarage – allerdings wurde uns das bei Google Maps nicht direkt angezeigt. Insgesamt aber ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt in einem Hotel mit viel Persönlichkeit. Wir würden definitiv wiederkommen!

A gem in the centre of Düsseldorf. 10 min walk to centre and many bars and restaurants. Room was delightful and breakfast superb. Very friendly owners and staff. Secure parking.

Hotel erstreckt sich über zwei seperate Häuser. Sehr schön renoviert und eingerichtet. Wir hatten ein sehr geräumiges ruhiges Zimmer zum schönen Hinterhof-Garten hinaus. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr entgegenkommend und freundlich. Das Frühstück war exzellent - wir mussten am Sonntagmorgen leider etwas warten, weil der Frühstücksraum recht klein ist. Insgesamt ein schöner Aufenthalt.

Hotel erstreckt sich über zwei seperate Häuser. Sehr schön renoviert und eingerichtet. Wir hatten ein sehr geräumiges ruhiges Zimmer zum schönen Hinterhof-Garten hinaus. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr entgegenkommend und freundlich. Das Frühstück war exzellent - wir mussten am Sonntagmorgen leider etwas warten, weil der Frühstücksraum recht klein ist. Insgesamt ein schöner Aufenthalt.

Zeer vlotte ontvangst. Heel voorkomend ook. Prima kamer. Schoon. Je hoort niks van buitengeluiden. Uitstekend ontbijt. Mooi buffet, eigerecht naar keuze. Allemaal vers. Op loopafstand van het centrum Kortom: volgende keer verblijf ik hier weer.

Genuinely my best hotel stay anywhere in Germany! Staff was very friendly and welcoming, the decoration is simple yet nice, the room is cozy, everything was perfectly clean. We didn't try the breakfast buffet, but it seemed nice and other guests appeared to be happy. The location is great -- right at the edge of Japan town with excellent food options. The walk to the old city, where most the attractions are, is around 20 minutes. And the Central Station is less than 10 minutes away, making day trips easier.

Genuinely my best hotel stay anywhere in Germany! Staff was very friendly and welcoming, the decoration is simple yet nice, the room is cozy, everything was perfectly clean. Das Hotelpersonal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück ein Traum! Zumindest das Haupthaus ist nicht barrierefrei und auch die Einrichtung schon etwas älter. Es war jedoch passend und sehr sauber. Preisleistungstechnisch super. Waren sehr froh, hier übernachtet zu haben!

It was a quick stay. The hotel has been recently renovated. Everything is a very nice quality (beautiful fixtures in the room, beautiful functional armoire - great for guests staying a few days ...) The breakfast was impressive. The breakfast staff were very attentive. The view of the courtyard was a nice surprise. A very convenient location. The hospitality from the front desk staff was sincerely appreciated too!

The mattress was a bit to soft for me and my room was on the first floor with some safety tool at the door… but in whole one of the best hotels in Germany I have ever been. Will come back (hopefully soon)

Perfectly clean but facility items should have been more sufficient. There was only 1 power to plug in. There was no water or coffee.. location is good close to the train station but not very down town..

Die Einrichtung des Hotel ist ganz entzückend und super gemütlich. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war umwerfend gut. Mir war lediglich die Dusche zu eng und im Bad hätte gern noch ein Haken für ein Handtuch sein können. Restaurants und Capitol Theater fußläufig gut erreichbar. Das Bett war auch gut.

"I stayed for one night and had a great experience. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was quiet and peaceful — perfect for a restful sleep. It had a little old charm to it but was very clean. Would definitely stay again for a short stay."

I couldn’t fault the friendliness of all of the staff that every single person made us feel very welcome and that counted for a lot. The rooms were clean. The bathroom was beautiful and Claudia who cooks the breakfast in the morning is possibly the nicest lady you’ll ever wish to meet she does it all herself it’s a wonderful set up. I was very impressed with this Hotel. The only letdown really is the area that it’s in isn’t the greatest when you go and park your car in the car park around the back, if you go there at night it’s not the nicest environment that you want to be in but that shouldn’t really be a black mark against the Hotel but I’m just putting it down as a point of note. Overall old happily stay here again, good value for money and great people

Vi fick fel rum och inget internet på rummet.Vi kom sent och rummet låg i en annan byggnad ,många trappor upp så att klaga så sent orkade vi tyvärr inte.Men att få fel rum när man betalat för ett större och bättre var en besvikelse.

Interesting hotel, split either side of the road (Lord one side, Lady the other). Reception in Lord. Very welcoming and helpful. Rooms all decorated differently. Clean and comfortable, reasonable size and useful storage. Good breakfast option. Easy walk to station and transport links.

Das Hotelpersonal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück ein Traum! Zumindest das Haupthaus ist nicht barrierefrei und auch die Einrichtung schon etwas älter. Es war jedoch passend und sehr sauber. Preisleistungstechnisch super. Waren sehr froh, hier übernachtet zu haben!

Fijne uitvalsbasis op ongeveer 10 minuten lopen van het centrum. Meerdere routes maar 1 brengt je ook langs fijne koffieplekjes. Parkeren was mogelijk in een externe garage om de hoek. Kamer netjes met een goed bed.

Night time: felt bad with all drug dealers and addiction person on the neighbouring streets. Hotel top of the class and so every staff member we met. We would book again with an earlier arrival in daylight. Walking distance to shopping, restaurants and central attractions.

Sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Die Lage dieses kleinen aber sehr feinen Hotels ist Klasse. Die Düsseldorfer Innenstadt und das Rheinufer sind fussläufig zu erreichen. Würde ich immer wieder buchen.

Genuinely my best hotel stay anywhere in Germany! Staff was very friendly and welcoming, the decoration is simple yet nice, the room is cozy, everything was perfectly clean. We didn't try the breakfast buffet, but it seemed nice and other guests appeared to be happy. The location is great -- right at the edge of Japan town with excellent food options. The walk to the old city, where most the attractions are, is around 20 minutes. And the Central Station is less than 10 minutes away, making day trips easier.

Genuinely my best hotel stay anywhere in Germany! Staff was very friendly and welcoming, the decoration is simple yet nice, the room is cozy, everything was perfectly clean. Unfassbar freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Schön eingerichtete Zimmer, tolles Frühstücksbuffet. Wir wurden von jedem Angestellten begrüßt, gefragt, wie wir geschlafen haben, es wurde uns Kaffee angeboten und Eieroptionen zum Frühstück. Schöner Garten mit wunderschönen Blumen und kleinem Teich. Allein wegen der Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeitern sehr zu empfehlen und würden jederzeit wieder buchen. Parkmöglichkeiten für Hotelgäste im Parkhaus. Parkerlaubnis vorab an der Rezeption abholen.

This is a very small little property, beautifully decorated, comfortable with the most delightful staff. The buffet breakfast is probably one of the best I’ve had in Germany and of course everyone was very helpful. I would definitely come back again.

Zeer vlotte ontvangst. Heel voorkomend ook. Prima kamer. Schoon. Je hoort niks van buitengeluiden. Uitstekend ontbijt. Mooi buffet, eigerecht naar keuze. Allemaal vers. Op loopafstand van het centrum Kortom: volgende keer verblijf ik hier weer.

Das Hotel hat uns rundum überzeugt! Die Einrichtung ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet – sowohl die Zimmer als auch die Gemeinschaftsbereiche sind stilvoll und sehr gemütlich. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Das Frühstück war hervorragend – frisch, vielseitig und geschmacklich wirklich top. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Personal, das unseren Aufenthalt zusätzlich angenehm gemacht hat. Ein kleiner Hinweis für zukünftige Gäste: Wenn man zu Fuß anreist, sollte man wissen, dass der Haupteingang eventuell auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite liegt – wir haben das zuerst nicht direkt erkannt. Und wer mit dem Auto kommt und sich in Düsseldorf nicht auskennt, sollte vorher nach einem geeigneten Parkplatz fragen. In unserem Fall war ein Parkhaus in unmittelbarer Nähe vorhanden, sogar mit Tiefgarage – allerdings wurde uns das bei Google Maps nicht direkt angezeigt. Insgesamt aber ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt in einem Hotel mit viel Persönlichkeit. Wir würden definitiv wiederkommen!

Hotel erstreckt sich über zwei seperate Häuser. Sehr schön renoviert und eingerichtet. Wir hatten ein sehr geräumiges ruhiges Zimmer zum schönen Hinterhof-Garten hinaus. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr entgegenkommend und freundlich. Das Frühstück war exzellent - wir mussten am Sonntagmorgen leider etwas warten, weil der Frühstücksraum recht klein ist. Insgesamt ein schöner Aufenthalt.

Hotel erstreckt sich über zwei seperate Häuser. Sehr schön renoviert und eingerichtet. Wir hatten ein sehr geräumiges ruhiges Zimmer zum schönen Hinterhof-Garten hinaus. L ensemble de l hôtel est parfaitement propre. Chambres accessibles avec escalier et ascenseur. Parking très proche pour la voiture. Nous recommandons fortement. (Séjour en juillet 2026)

This was a nice quiet little hotel. The location was quite convenient, although a bit on the edge of the more rundown area by the station. But the streets nearby were nice with some good coffeeshops and the hotel was nice. A little bit dated, but cozy and one of a kind, not a big chain, which I appreciated. It was a nice place to stay.
