Easy to park and check in. Walk up window for motel guest check in. The woman was friendly and got us an extra pillow and came to our room to make sure we had heat. The room was out dated, bathroom clean. I felt like I was sleeping in my grandmother's basement. Has a comfortable bed. A little more attention to cleanliness wouldn't hurt. Over all a good inexpensive place to stay if you don't plan to spend a lot of time in the room. Basically we were only there to sleep. Got there at 7:30 pm left at 8:30 am. Decent value and the parking lot and every room were full.

Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Takes a couple of minutes for the shower to get hot but it does work and is HOT. It’s like stepping into 1991 decor-wise which was excellent. Nice having outdoor access I’ll be staying here again

We had a nice stay in this classic motel which is located on Route 102 just outside West Stockbridge on a spacious property. Check-in was a bit awkward but we were given a room that honored our request and were able to park right outside our door. The room was very clean. The motel probably dates to the 1960s and some furniture was vintage but the room had a nice little fridge and a modest microwave as well as a recently renovated bathroom and excellent wifi. The bedding and carpet appeared reasonably new. We slept well but the pillows were thin. We supplemented them with a couple we travel with. The area around the hotel was pleasant with birds and trees but also traffic. The turnpike is nearby as well as traffic on the facing road. The room A/C however had a dehumidifier mode which added comfort to our stay and also masked any outdoor noise. All in all, a good classic motel experience and we'd stay here again.

This hotel was fine for one night, but the substandard beds, lousy pillows, and lack of a usable nightstand between the two beds (we travel with two CPAP machines, so nowhere to put them) made this a one-and-done kind of place. We look for hotels where we can drive right up to the door of the room, and these sometimes have lower standards than the brand-name motels. This was one of the low-par variety.

No coffee in the room, was alright, but there is no front desk "lobby" (as shown in their website), just a window in the front door to sign in. Therefore, no coffee in the lobby, as the website picture shows. Be honest about your facility.

The motel is between two roads and one of them is Masspike.. You can here traffic, but not to the extent that you would wake you up. Surprisingly quiet. As to the bad and the good, our fridge did not work. There was no hair dryer. Otherwise, the room was OK. Bathroom was very clean and well stocked.

Fit my needs like a tailored suit: inexpensive, staff not intrusive, room was acceptable, facility was quiet and location was close to the venue that I was attending. It was a totally acceptable spot to park my car and body for a night.

No breakfast that was offered but only on weekends. Musty odor. Sheets didn’t fit bed although bed was comfortable. Desperately needs updating of everything. No refigerator. TV did work. Never saw any staff except through a tiny window and not too friendly. Best thing was price and near to where we needed to be

Ok for a nights stay but my key fell behind the dresser when I moved it out to get the key what I saw behind it was frightening. I was in #12 so if the property management sees this take a look you definitely want to clean that up. Had to be someone who stayed for at least a week to accumulate the amount of what I saw . Probably should check all the rooms. Not good. That’s why I’m not mentioning what I saw

We had no heat for the first day and night. Heat was finally turned on the next day after multiple requests for heat. Room temp was 55 degrees. The room has seen better days. Wallpaper peeling, very musty smell as soon as you open the door, stains on everything include the shower curtain and tub.

This is the dirtiest motel I have ever been in. It was too late to find something else. I should have slept in the car. I slept on top of the bed with my clothes on. There was no soap or shampoo in the bathroom and mold growing on the cracked tile on the walls and floor. I don't know how they stay open. I regret not taking photos.

I’ve stayed in quite a few budget accommodations in southwestern Massachusetts over the past few years – this one wins the prize as the least appealing. Its exterior is rundown, unkept but was hoping the room was not. The door deadbolt only worked from The inside so I could only lock the knob. The door (pictured) was filthy, the carpet and windows dirty, the furnishings, old and worn out, the bed just OK. Bath was clean and recently retiled but the tub was dirty. These problems may be unique to room 9 but unlikely.

This motel was centrally located. There were many cleanliness issues in the room - stained shower curtain, very dusty. The room was 45 degrees when we entered and took a very long time to warm up (6 hours before it reached 60 degrees with the thermostat all the way up).

The room was supposed to be for a king sized bed. That is what I reserved at least. For some reason we were give a room with double beds. Also, the room was like a fridge. The heat was not on. The temperature on the thermostat was bottom out. All of this started off with waiting outside in the cold at the check in window. Which a sweet elderly lady who spoke barely any english tried to assist me. It was like her son, I am assuming the owner, forgot about my reservation. After waiting for a while and talking with the son on the phone I was finally given a room. The room was dark, dank, and again, freezing cold. I left the room, asked for a refund, which I was promptly refused and put that motel in my rearview. I would recommend everyone avoid this place. The service was awful. Again the elderly woman was sweet, but she should defintely not be left alone trying to handle that without speaking english fluently. Other than her, I have nothing good to say about this place.

I would reccomend this place for summer only. In winter it is cold so cold that I had to use my own sleeping bag under their covers. Ironically I took this cheap place because in my own house nearby the hot water boiler has broken down. Their thermostats were unresponsive, the heater in the bathroom was on constantly, old and ineffective. To take a shower I needed to close the bathroom and run the hot water until the room was like a schwitzbad.

I was originally placed in a room with one bed, which is not the one I reserved, but that was ok, since it was only me, however, the room was cold and I was asked to plug in an oscillating heater to heat the room. It was about 5 inches in diamater and maybe 30 inches high. I did so, then went to eat. After I'd returned I waited a bit and the room was still cold. At that point, I called the office and they moved me into the room I was originally supposed to have and I suppose they controlled the heat, because it actually got too hot. Upon waking I went to check out and realized breakfast is only two days a week (on the weekends) there and outside the office was a coffee pot and some cups. I dropped my keys off and left. I'll choose another location if I ever need to stay in that area again.

It’s an old motel which has not been renovated much probably since the 60’s or 70’s. Bathroom was nice with new tile. Beds were hard with springs poking up. Mildew odor as well. No working refrigerator. Room had an old combination range - refrigerator that doesn’t work and likely a safety hazard. Would be a gem if the owner would invest in renovations!

We immediately noticed one of the beds was broken, unable to sleep on, we went and told the manager after we checked in and he was on his way out. We asked for a refund. He said no, it’s not broken, and something about we needed to do it online. We don’t stay and would still like a refund.

Over all a good inexpensive place to stay if you don't plan to spend a lot of time in the room. Basically we were only there to sleep. Got there at 7:30 pm left at 8:30 am. Decent value and the parking lot and every room were full.

Easy to park and check in. Walk up window for motel guest check in. The woman was friendly and got us an extra pillow and came to our room to make sure we had heat. The room was out dated, bathroom clean. I felt like I was sleeping in my grandmother's basement. Has a comfortable bed. A little more attention to cleanliness wouldn't hurt. I reserved on hotels.com at 11:00 PM. I showed up at 11:15 PM. The office was closed. There was a cell phone listed for the motel. I phoned. A male came to the window and told me they were closed and to go away. I stated I had a hotels.com reservation. He told me 2 more times to go away. The person was rude and totally uncooperative.

We always enjoy our stay here because of its location to our venue, eating options and the customer friendly owners. It is a bit dated in its interior design, but a clean room wih a clean bed and working shower is our goal. They deliver.

Convenient to Tanglewood(10 minutes ). Property is vintage motel with dated everything. But appears very safe and reasonably priced compared to Lenox hotels. Nice Italian restaurant just 5 minutes away. Overall can’t complain.

The motel is between two roads and one of them is Masspike.. You can here traffic, but not to the extent that you would wake you up. Surprisingly quiet. As to the bad and the good, our fridge did not work. There was no hair dryer. Otherwise, the room was OK. Bathroom was very clean and well stocked.

Very close to Tanglewood. Would stay there again because of the pricing and ability to just book for one night in a weekend. Haven a breakfast/brunch place in nearby Lenox is amazing.

A no frills place to stay that is kind of dated. Complimentary breakfast is advertised, but it was only available on Wednesday, amd the selection of food items is very limited. No much around the motel if you want to walk for food. Price was cheapest around and was relatively clean.

No coffee in the room, was alright, but there is no front desk "lobby" (as shown in their website), just a window in the front door to sign in. Therefore, no coffee in the lobby, as the website picture shows. Be honest about your facility.

The room had an awful odor when we first went in.it did clear after running the air conditioner for a while. The curtains and lamp shades were in very poor condition. The room wasn't cleaned very well. Continental Breakfast consisted of coffee, cheerios and cornflakes. Coffee was undrinkable. Bed was clean. Shower was hot. Location was very convenient to Tanglewood.

No breakfast that was offered but only on weekends. Musty odor. Sheets didn’t fit bed although bed was comfortable. Desperately needs updating of everything. No refigerator. TV did work. All the questions I had were not answered because the woman said she had no idea what the answers were. The rooms were clean, but they were dated back in the 70s a little pricey for what you’re getting since there’s no coffee no breakfast.

Perfect price, good location if you like to sleep with the windows open and don't mind a little highway noise. Convenient to the highway, obviously, as well as both Lee and Stockbridge Centers (we enjoyed stopping at local thrifting stores) Tanglewood (we had free tickets) and several great eateries. Bed was comfortable enough, hot water, clean sheets and towels ... but that smell. A bit musty!

The best thing this motel has going for it is the reasonable price. It’s also a short drive to Tanglewood and many cute towns. The rooms are clean and quiet. The beds are not very comfortable and only have two thin pillows on them. The 10am checkout time is a little too early.

It was good place to stay over night for our plan. Friendly staff and clean room. Deer family are living near by, enjoy viewing them. It’s a old building, but nice quiet place.

I have stayed here many times as it's the least expensive lodging near Stockbridge and Tanglewood. The owners have done a good job trying to keep the aging facility functioning by updating bathrooms. Unfortunately on this visit the bathroom ceiling fan made a horrendous noise and sounded and looked like it was on its last leg. Beds were on foundations too small for the mattresses. Wall paper and rugs in very sad shape. The pool hasn't been open for many years. The unit was basically clean, but some small pieces of paper were missed. I still will book here due to the value, but it's condition is deteriorating.
