Hotel Schiff am See

Alles war in Ordnung, das Hotelpersonal war sehr freundlich. Es ist ein traditionelles Hotel. Mir ist nur etwas mit dem Mädchen im Restaurant passiert, das mich bedient habe: Ich bat sie um ein Glas Wein und was sie tat, war, mich zu fragen, ob ich gekommen war, um Arbeit zu suchen. Das hat mich wirklich gestört. Ich verstehe, dass es vielleicht sein kann, dass viele Menschen aus Lateinamerika kommen und um Arbeit bitten, aber das war nicht mein Fall. Sie kann sich nicht von Stereotypen oder Vorhersagemustern mitreißen lassen. Er kann rücksichtslos sein.

Schiff am see was a nice, comfortable hotel in Murten. Like most hotels in Switzerland, getting there and around town is a bit of “up and down” walking. The front desk staff, Stephanie and Tina were most helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good and the restaurant is available for evening meals. We had no issues with the room. We are comfortable walking stairs. Murten is an interesting town with an interesting history.
