Cromwell Manor Inn

Beautiful place. The manager on property was really nice and made the check in very pleasant. There’s a beautiful very large backyard that we sat at night in the grass field in lounge chairs and looked at the stars. The room was very beautiful, the bed comfortable. The very long history of the building in interesting to learn too

Awesome scenery and a beautiful area

Our stay at the Cromwell Manor Inn was excellent from start to finish. As we were parking, the innkeeper came out to help us with our bags. After we checked in we were given a tour of the inn. The common area were comfy, clean, and inviting. Our room was cozy and comfortable. The shower was a bit difficult to figure out but we got it working. Breakfast was cooked to order with many options. The inn dog was there and completely ignored us, until the food arrived. We now had a best friend. The dog was well behaved, nothing to worry about. The food was delicious. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely be staying at the Cromwell Manor Inn.

It is set in a quiet small community. The grounds are beautiful and restful. There is a lovely patio. It is a haven for escape from the busy world.

Staff was hospitable, friendly. Attentive to our needs. Outdoor space was lovely. We would return.

Our time at Cromwell Manor Inn was like staying at a good friend’s house. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the overall home is charming. Our host Troy did everything to ensure our welcome and started our day with a hot breakfast. Eventually, the Inn will add a full service restaurant and bar, which will be great. In the meantime, we made ourselves at home each evening by enjoying our bottle of wine on the bucolic patio.

Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Room was clean and very nice with exceptional amenities. The property was beautiful and well maintained. 5 stars!!!

The B&B is set on a lovely property. The room was spacious and quaint. Sitting areas on the front porch, a parlor room or out back. The Innkeeper & her husband greeted us and showed us around. We ate breakfast outside. There was a cold buffet & made to order hot items of your choice.

Three months into the new operation, this team provides a clean, comfortable environment to enjoy. They communicate well and provide a pleasant atmosphere to this property. Breakfast was cooked to order and we were made comfortable at every turn.

Staff was really nice. The room was worn out - sheets and towels felt really worn out, the bathroom had no vent so was always dank, the room was musty and stale even with the small AC unit. There was no Mountain View but rather a view onto a roof with an old ladder. No screens in windows. It was hard to ever feel fully rested or clean.

The room and Inn was fantastic! My wife and I loved the old world charm and beauty! The whole Inn was decorated for Christmas and looked beautiful! The Room and facilities were spotless and well maintained. Breakfast was delicious and the service was very attentive. Look forward to coming back again!

The photos of this B&B are nothing like the house. It is dirty, worn down and at best a two-star. One of our rooms was in the original house. It was located on the street and was very noisy - we did not sleep all night. The second night we went to the pharmacy and purchased ear plugs. The bathtub had mildew, the windows have moss growing in between the panes. My son's bedding had blood on it and it was dusty and not clean. The windows in the houses were filthy and the rooms were not sanitary. There is one person working both houses - checking guests in/out, cleaning and trying to prepare breakfast. He is very enthusiastic but we had to wait over 1 hour for a breakfast scramble and it was just some eggs on a plate and not worth the wait. This was an expensive weekend and our rooms were over $600 each for 2 days - not worth the price and we were so disappointed. Go to the Hampton Inn and treat yourself to a breakfast and you will be WAY ahead.

Inkeeper and her husband and their staff are all incredible, cooked to order breakfast was exactly as I expected. Room was clean, spacious, and fresh. Beautiful building full of light, on well kept grounds. Recommendations - perfection. Will return!

It has been years since I wanted to share feedback about a lodging experience online. I discovered Cromwell Manor Inn on Expedia when I spontaneously decided to spend a weekend at Storm King, just a short drive from the accommodations. I arrived around 8 pm after a long, rainy bus ride from Port Authority. Tory greeted me with the warmest welcome, and I instantly felt at home. He graciously took my bag and personally delivered it to my room, The Windsor, walking me through all the available amenities for my stay. Troy went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed before leaving me to the solitude I sought an hour outside the hustle and bustle of the city. The next day, he prepared a beautiful breakfast and assisted me in planning my trip to Storm King. Although I had only booked a two-night stay, on the second day, I had the pleasure of meeting the rest of the Cromwell Manor Inn family, including the wonderful owners. Troy treated me to another delicious breakfast, and I spent the remainder of my day exploring the grounds while witnessing the team joyously decorating the beautiful estate with Christmas decorations. Before heading back to the city, I had lunch next door at Jones Farm, following the Cromwell family's suggestion, and began planning my next stay. As a history buff, I was fascinated by the inn's history, feeling like I had been transported to another time. My room was cozy and warm, impeccably clean and well-preserved.

I liked Troy's eggs and blueberry pancakes. This property is poorly lit, with limited outlets, and feels like a fire hazard. The surrounding area is quiet but not serene. The region is called Storm King for a reason apparently.

Troy the Inn keeper went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. We had many requests and he handled each one with a great care. Will definitely recommend. The property itself is rich with charm and character. We left feeling fully recharged and rested.

This wonderull historic inn's keepers - Marayna, Kate, and Vadiv -- are the best. They make you feel at home right away, serve delicious breakfast, and share their knowledge of the local area with you. The view behind the Inn is spectacular. Their wonderul dog Roy is the dining room mascot though not intrusive. I would highly recommend and stay there again when in the Hudson Valley.

My wife and I spent our anniversary there. It is a beautiful quiet location, near the Storm King state park and the art center. Wonderful staff and a wonderful stay!

We stayed 3 nights for a weekend getaway in the Canterbury room. As many have commented, Troy is absolutely committed to customer service and making sure his guests' needs are being met. The property is charming and the grounds are beautiful. Also, the Inn is only a quick 15 minute drive to the Newburgh waterfront. We have plans to return in the fall for some leaf peeping!
