Husband & I planned a trip for our 28th anniversary. Wity thr current economy, we felt it was very important to support local businesses at every possible opportunity, so instead of staying in a hotel, we chose an overnight stay at this beautiful BnB. I love historical homes and was very happy thay our room (the Tara room) was in the main house. Our hostess was extremely friendly and helpful (even suggesting a place to get dinner, which ended up being every bit as amazing as we had hoped). Bonus was Sadie, her sweet & gregarious goldendoodle. Sadie didnt fail to keep us entertained. Bed was comfy and the house was very quiet. Even being on thr ground floor at the front of the house, I didnt hear any traffic outside or from anyone inside. House is very well air conditioned, so while you get the atmosphere of history, you get modern day comforts. My husband is not usually a bed & breakfast type person, but even he was impressed and said I had found a great place to stay. Would definitely return!

Beautiful old home that has been turned into a long running B&B. Our rooms (English suite) were spacious with lots of room to spread out. The bathroom was huge and well lit and also had space for each of us to have our own sink. Loved the off street parking. The host was friendly supplying us with both excellent breakfasts and good conversation. When we are in the Lexington area, we will certainly keep this B&B in mind!

We loved our stay at Montgomery Inn! Pam is such a gracious hostess and her sweet dog Sadie made us feel at home. I loved the comfy bed, the jacuzzi tub, and the massage chair! We enjoyed a glass of wine on her front porch in the evening watching and listening to millions of migrating birds in the trees! Breakfast was delicious in what seemed like a luxurious Victorian dining rail car. Pam was so sweet to sit and visit with us during breakfast. We highly recommend her Bed and Breakfast!

Pam runs a first class operation! Our room was comfortable and well stocked with towels, blankets and even robes. The property is located close to distilleries and shopping areas. We were made to feel like family. Can’t wait to go back

This B&B was very nice and Pam was an excellent hostess. Our breakfast was delicious and she was attentive. Our room was wonderful - we loved the electric fireplace, our own coffee bar and spacious bathroom. We would’ve given it 5 stars but we experienced snow, sleet and rain the weekend we were there, making our porch, stairs, sidewalk and the parking lot slippery and hazardous. We would’ve gone into the office to alert Pam but had to leave early. We would love to return!

We stayed here in mid March for our anniversary. This is a charming bed and breakfast in a residential area, with plenty of restaurants and things to do close by. Pam was a great host and made our stay enjoyable. We stayed in the Colonial room with a comfortable King size bed, small fridge, and electric fireplace. The bathroom is huge with a make up table, large closet, and jacuzzi tub. There are books to read, games to play, and a massage chair in the sitting room. We had a great stay and highly recomend this B&B.

We had an absolutely incredible stay at Montgomery Inn BnB, thanks to the unmatched hospitality and care provided by owner. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel completely at home, offering not only a warm and welcoming atmosphere but also invaluable guidance on local attractions and experiences. The inn itself is charming and well-maintained, with every detail thoughtfully considered. Her personal touch made our stay unforgettable, and we truly appreciated her attention to making our experience perfect. This place is very dirty and ancient, not quant. Immediately you're hit in the face with several smells, some diffuser trying to overpower the bad smells. The inn keeper slept on the couch every time we walked in which was weird. The dog was cute. The minute we got into our room I smelled pee. My husband smelled cat litter but I think it was a combo of the pee and other gross scents mixed with their diffuser. I sniffed and found a pee scent on the bed, going through each layer of the sheets, smelling it but not seeing a stain. I told the inn keeper and she didn't believe me. She came up and said she didn't smell it. When I persisted, she went to the mattress layer and found a massive pee stain. Apparently an elderly couple who wore diapers stayed in there last. Since there were no extra rooms she suggested we took a mattress from a different room: but how if it was all full? Anyway she had me and my husband carry the pee mattress out and the new one in. Even after the change it still smelled so bad in the room. It was so dirty and I just felt disgusting sleeping here. They didn't even have hand soap, she said to use the face wash. Also, our door knob barely worked it was about to fall off. I poured myself wine in the room but the glasses were so musty smelling I could not enjoy the wine. Could not have left fast enough

We will definitely stay at the Montgomery Inn B&B again. If you’re looking for a charming, idyllic, relaxing, small-town b&b, look no further. We found the owner, Pam, to be just as charming as her property. She went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable and all of our needs were met. Breakfast was always delicious and I looked forward to it every morning. Although we didn’t need it, I overheard that she’ll go out of her way to accommodate dietary restrictions. I was a little worried when I met Sadie, Pam’s 3-year-old golden doodle, because I wondered if there would be dog hair and a dog smell but there wasn’t. Sadie is well trained, clean, and hypoallergenic if anyone is worried. We had a lot of fun with her. We stayed in the sleeper car room which was surprisingly quiet even though it was right next to the dining room. I can’t wait to go back and stay in some of the other rooms!

This place is very dirty and ancient, not quant. Immediately you're hit in the face with several smells, some diffuser trying to overpower the bad smells. The inn keeper slept on the couch every time we walked in which was weird. The dog was cute. The minute we got into our room I smelled pee. My husband smelled cat litter but I think it was a combo of the pee and other gross scents mixed with their diffuser. I sniffed and found a pee scent on the bed, going through each layer of the sheets, smelling it but not seeing a stain. I told the inn keeper and she didn't believe me. She came up and said she didn't smell it. When I persisted, she went to the mattress layer and found a massive pee stain. Apparently an elderly couple who wore diapers stayed in there last. Since there were no extra rooms she suggested we took a mattress from a different room: but how if it was all full? Anyway she had me and my husband carry the pee mattress out and the new one in. Even after the change it still smelled so bad in the room. It was so dirty and I just felt disgusting sleeping here. They didn't even have hand soap, she said to use the face wash. Also, our door knob barely worked it was about to fall off. I poured myself wine in the room but the glasses were so musty smelling I could not enjoy the wine. Could not have left fast enough

We stayed here in mid March for our anniversary. This is a charming bed and breakfast in a residential area, with plenty of restaurants and things to do close by. Pam was a great host and made our stay enjoyable. We stayed in the Colonial room with a comfortable King size bed, small fridge, and electric fireplace. The bathroom is huge with a make up table, large closet, and jacuzzi tub. There are books to read, games to play, and a massage chair in the sitting room. We had a great stay and highly recomend this B&B.

We will definitely stay at the Montgomery Inn B&B again. If you’re looking for a charming, idyllic, relaxing, small-town b&b, look no further. We found the owner, Pam, to be just as charming as her property. She went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable and all of our needs were met. Breakfast was always delicious and I looked forward to it every morning. Although we didn’t need it, I overheard that she’ll go out of her way to accommodate dietary restrictions. I was a little worried when I met Sadie, Pam’s 3-year-old golden doodle, because I wondered if there would be dog hair and a dog smell but there wasn’t. Sadie is well trained, clean, and hypoallergenic if anyone is worried. We had a lot of fun with her. We loved our stay at Montgomery Inn! Pam is such a gracious hostess and her sweet dog Sadie made us feel at home. I loved the comfy bed, the jacuzzi tub, and the massage chair! We enjoyed a glass of wine on her front porch in the evening watching and listening to millions of migrating birds in the trees! Breakfast was delicious in what seemed like a luxurious Victorian dining rail car. Pam was so sweet to sit and visit with us during breakfast. We highly recommend her Bed and Breakfast!

Beautiful old home that has been turned into a long running B&B. Our rooms (English suite) were spacious with lots of room to spread out. The bathroom was huge and well lit and also had space for each of us to have our own sink. Loved the off street parking. The host was friendly supplying us with both excellent breakfasts and good conversation. When we are in the Lexington area, we will certainly keep this B&B in mind!

The lady who owned the property was nice. She let us know where everything was and her dog was super sweet and walked with us to our room. The property itself was much older and not maintained well, but if she was the groundskeeper too I’d say it would be hard to manage. We couldn’t find a way to Lock the door from the outside, which was an issue if we left to go somewhere. Town wasn’t far from the property but not really walkable. The room wasn’t dirty per-say, but hadn’t been swept well and was just older and dusty. We didn’t meet up for breakfast, we just got up and left early. I would have much rather saved money and stayed at a hotel.

We have enjoyed our stay, this is the second time we stated here. Room was clean, bed very comfortable (The Cottage Room). Breakfast was really tasty. I do agree with some other reviews of the Inn- and this is no reflection on the Inn keeper- she was wonderful as was her dog Sadie- what a cutie! She is a lovable Doodle / large dog, and as gentle as they come. The grounds do need attention and clean up some of the stuff laying around...and overall freshen up to make a better first impression. We would Stay here again!
