Very nice property.. beach access was a big advantage. Awesome spa. Very polite and helpful staff. Kids pool was a perfect spot to let kids have a good time in the shade.

Acho que algumas coisas podem ser melhoradas considerando a categoria do hotel: o papel higiênico, por exemplo, era de qualidade inferior; a sauna só funcionava até as 19h, o que poderia ser igual ao horário do SPA, até as 22h; o calendário das atividades na TV estava desatualizado, assim acabamos perdendo algumas atividades; o ofuro da sauna estava quebrado, não funcionou durante os 4 dias que passamos por lá, e um dos chuveiros não funcionava a agua quente. Porém o que mais nos incomodou foi um barulho durante a noite no quarto, que parecia o motor de um gerador.

I loved our stay. The hotel is very convinient, rooms are fantastic. Very clean. The gym is the best I have seen and very unique for the hotel. Starbucks with protein shakes is unexpected and very great addition. The territory is cozy, which makes hotel stay pleasant. Only is the food is Ok, Sand restaurant has much to offer but the taste is average, would be great to improve it :) Overall I will definitely recommend the property and will back myself! Love it ☺️

Renaissance Phuket is a great hotel with an amazing outdoor space and swimming pool. It does need renovation in the rooms and bar area and a bit more attention to cleanness. Some of the staff are really good with a great sense of service. We have been coming for years, but we can’t help to notice that the service and amenities are going down every year. No more welcome plate or snacks, no more turn down service, food in room service is not to standard, they bring food without any protection on it on some occasions. Overall we love this place but it needs to go back to its original standard.

Et bra hotell men definitivt ikke et 5 ***** hotel! Det mangler nok en del på det! Rart de kan kalle seg det! Mange hyggelige og hjelpsomme ansatte men også mange med lite engelskkunnskap som ikke forstår. Bassenget fremstår som lite tiltalende, her trengs det skikkelig reinhold, det opplevde vi det ikke var! Hotellet vil nok sikkert skylde på covid-begrensinger på renhold og service! Som nevnt et helt greit hotell men ikke forvent 5 stjernes kvalitet!

Wunderschönes Hotel mit super Tagesprogramm inklusive täglich Sportkurse und Fahrradtour etc. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist in der Nähe nicht super viel los, also wenn man mehr Trubel möchte und nicht lange fahren will, lieber ein Hotel südlich vom Flughafen

The property was immaculate. Well designed, maintained and beautiful. The staff was friendly, ultra respectful, vigilant, extra attention to detail, and do their absolute best. The food was fresh and delicious. Everything was made fresh, including if you asked for a glass of juice. They will literally squeeze the fruit into juice for you to drink. This property was everything and more.

We stayed in this hotel for only two days as a family they are only advertising the villas so don’t trust what you see. Please see the pictures for more reality if you do not mind hearing a rooster every five minutes then this is the perfect place for you, but most importantly, if you’re OK with mold in your bathroom and dirty room and this is definitely the perfect place for your vacation. It was a very tough experience for my daughter who is three-year-old as she woke up with and bites everywhere inside of her crib or you can call it playpen because they don’t give you a crib.. we originally booked a full week but I had to fight with Expedia and the hotel to get reimbursed because originally they refused to reimburse me even with all the ant bites on my daughter. I complained earlier in the morning about the ant bites, and then they came and cleaned. Then on the day I had to call them again for the same problem after my daughter’s afternoon nap, and more bites. OK and the food was somewhat OK as well. Definitely not worth more than $200 a day including everything.

Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Wir waren mit Baby unterwegs, es wurde am Pool immer nach Schatten geschaut. Wasser und Fruchtspieße am Pool wurden verteilt. Sehr sauber, ruhig. Gute Größe der Anlage. Strand, Pool, Zimmer, Restaurants super erreichbar. Um Hotel herum leider keine anderen Restaurants, Bars, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Busshuttle bringt jede Stunde zu einer kleinen Shoppingmall aber für uns war da nichts dabei.

The hotel is fairly close to the airport. It's in the northern side of the island, near Mai Khao. A very calm place unlike the old town and Patong. The staff is quite kind and helpful. Breakfast was good with lots of options to choose from. Rooms are large and well maintained, cleaned up daily. AC is working without any issues. The beach is calm. Beware the jellyfish, sometimes they get all over the place. But during our stay, it was only one day that there were jellyfish around. Sea is warm and there is no stones, rock whatsoever. It was a joy to watch the sunset. There is also a shuttle service to the nearby mall, where you can buy stuff, eat and rent bike, buy tours etc. Totally recommended.

Hotel and beach are beautiful. Impeccable customer service from staff. I was appealed to see a very large roach in my room. Then again in the breakfast area. Right beside the omelette station. I can not recommend.

Tudo neste hotel é absurdamente super valorizado, refeições, bebidas, SPA e principalmente a diária. O hotel já sente os anos e a manutenção deficiente, os quartos são pequenos para o padrão anunciado, colocados em prédios muito próximos uns dos outros, sombrios e com problemas de higiene, maus odores e má iluminação. Internet pobre, tv pobre. A zona de piscina é pequena, sobrelotada e sem nenhuma intervenção do Staff, sendo um ambiente de gritos e algazarras dia e noite. Anunciam a piscina como exclusiva para adultos, mas nada é cumprido. Os equipamentos de piscina (espreguiçadeiras, cadeiras, mesas, etc) estão quebrados, enferrujados, oferecendo mesmo risco de acidentes. O hotel e a Expedia anunciam várias regalias que não existem e fotos e descrição que não correspondem com aquilo que encontramos. O pior de tudo: os funcionários mecanizados e apáticos em tudo.
Tudo neste hotel é absurdamente super valorizado, refeições, bebidas, SPA e principalmente a diária. O hotel já sente os anos e a manutenção deficiente, os quartos são pequenos para o padrão anunciado, colocados em prédios muito próximos uns dos outros, sombrios e com problemas de higiene, maus odores e má iluminação. Internet pobre, tv pobre. A zona de piscina é pequena, sobrelotada e sem nenhuma intervenção do Staff, sendo um ambiente de gritos e algazarras dia e noite. Anunciam a piscina como exclusiva para adultos, mas nada é cumprido. Os equipamentos de piscina (espreguiçadeiras, cadeiras, mesas, etc) estão quebrados, enferrujados, oferecendo mesmo risco de acidentes. O hotel e a Expedia anunciam várias regalias que não existem e fotos e descrição que não correspondem com aquilo que encontramos. O pior de tudo: os funcionários mecanizados e apáticos em tudo.

Acho que algumas coisas podem ser melhoradas considerando a categoria do hotel: o papel higiênico, por exemplo, era de qualidade inferior; a sauna só funcionava até as 19h, o que poderia ser igual ao horário do SPA, até as 22h; o calendário das atividades na TV estava desatualizado, assim acabamos perdendo algumas atividades; o ofuro da sauna estava quebrado, não funcionou durante os 4 dias que passamos por lá, e um dos chuveiros não funcionava a agua quente. Porém o que mais nos incomodou foi um barulho durante a noite no quarto, que parecia o motor de um gerador.

I loved our stay. The hotel is very convinient, rooms are fantastic. Very clean. The gym is the best I have seen and very unique for the hotel. Starbucks with protein shakes is unexpected and very great addition. The territory is cozy, which makes hotel stay pleasant. Only is the food is Ok, Sand restaurant has much to offer but the taste is average, would be great to improve it :) Overall I will definitely recommend the property and will back myself! Love it ☺️

Renaissance Phuket is a great hotel with an amazing outdoor space and swimming pool. It does need renovation in the rooms and bar area and a bit more attention to cleanness. Some of the staff are really good with a great sense of service. We have been coming for years, but we can’t help to notice that the service and amenities are going down every year. No more welcome plate or snacks, no more turn down service, food in room service is not to standard, they bring food without any protection on it on some occasions. Overall we love this place but it needs to go back to its original standard.

The hotel is fairly close to the airport. It's in the northern side of the island, near Mai Khao. A very calm place unlike the old town and Patong. The staff is quite kind and helpful. Breakfast was good with lots of options to choose from. Rooms are large and well maintained, cleaned up daily. AC is working without any issues. The beach is calm. Beware the jellyfish, sometimes they get all over the place. But during our stay, it was only one day that there were jellyfish around. Sea is warm and there is no stones, rock whatsoever. It was a joy to watch the sunset. There is also a shuttle service to the nearby mall, where you can buy stuff, eat and rent bike, buy tours etc. Totally recommended.

For us the Villa with own pool is the best option to go for. Last time we stayed we had breakfast and diner included whereas this time we went for all meals plus two cocktails each day and a treatment each in the Spa. Having all meals was a mistake as we found that we couldn’t eat everything but for those with a large appetite it would be worthwhile. We would like to mention the lady who made up our Villa every day. Her name was Amm and she was a treasure being super efficient.

The property itself was everything you’d expect from Marriott. However, there was a chicken and rooster habitat just beyond a wire fence about 20ft from our room’s front door. The rooster’s concept of time was just as screwed up as ours with their faint crowing. When we first arrived there was a very strong urine smell that we determined was coming from the rug under the bed. Once we notified the front desk, they immediately came and, per our request, removed the rug entirely. The staff was very friendly and took care of it very quickly. Once settled in, we took a nap and called the front to see if we could get some coffee delivered to us because it was 5 am before their breakfast opened. However, we were sorely disappointed to be given 2 instant coffee satchels accompanied by 2 instant creamer satchels on a tray. Aside from all this, the room was immaculate with heated toilet seat and a bidet. The bathroom itself was enclosed in a half glass wall with venetian blinds. Our room was always stocked with the complimentary water bottles. And their breakfast buffet was phenomenal! The servers were all on point with taking our drink orders, taking our plates and assisting where they could. Everyone there was so friendly and helpful. Last but not least, we had friends staying at another hotel next to us and upon meeting them for dinner and breakfast at their hotel, we were grateful that we stayed at the Renaissance by Marriott.

The property was immaculate. Well designed, maintained and beautiful. The staff was friendly, ultra respectful, vigilant, extra attention to detail, and do their absolute best. The food was fresh and delicious. Everything was made fresh, including if you asked for a glass of juice. They will literally squeeze the fruit into juice for you to drink. This property was everything and more.

The service was superb throughout our stay. Especially during the delicious breakfast and at the pool side. The beach was lovely and largely unoccupied - a nice contrast to the buzzling beaches in southern Europe for example. The only downside was the lack of services nearby combined with the high prices at the hotel.

#1- People here are the MOST INCONSIDERATE, we had death in the family sobwe neesed to shorten our stay, but they still charged us with the penalties. #2- Our room is by a MURKY WATER they call lagoon, creepy, jurassic park feels with baby crocodiles (or whatever those creatures were) floating around the black water. Dark dark, ambience, limited staff. #3- Mai Khao area is a tourist trap and can be your worst vacation nightmare. Would never reccomend this.

Hotel degradado, caríssimo para as condições que apresenta, pessoal frio e pouco amistoso, quartos ruins, amontoados, sem privacidade, nenhum serviço de praia, vários itens anunciados, tais como piscina só para adultos não são cumpridos pelo hotel, que não respeita nem aquilo que anuncia, tudo com a conivência da Expedia (Hotéis.com). Wunderschönes Hotel mit super Tagesprogramm inklusive täglich Sportkurse und Fahrradtour etc. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist in der Nähe nicht super viel los, also wenn man mehr Trubel möchte und nicht lange fahren will, lieber ein Hotel südlich vom Flughafen

Very quiet property with friendly staff members. Great morning buffet. Lunch and dinner at Sandbox and Takieng were ok. No bum gun in the toilet which is unusual for Thai Hotels. Overall, excellent.

Super séjour avec un personnel très agréable à tous niveaux. Dommage nous avons eu pas mal de pluie. Les restaurants sont très bons.

Renaissance Phuket is a great hotel with an amazing outdoor space and swimming pool. It does need renovation in the rooms and bar area and a bit more attention to cleanness. Some of the staff are really good with a great sense of service. We have been coming for years, but we can’t help to notice that the service and amenities are going down every year. No more welcome plate or snacks, no more turn down service, food in room service is not to standard, they bring food without any protection on it on some occasions. Overall we love this place but it needs to go back to its original standard.

They have a wonderful restaurant and breakfast option. Staff is wonderful, as is the massage and spa options, too notch spa experience.

Very nice resort on the beach. Great room with all amenities. Pool is great and service was amazing. Food in both restaurants was varied and delicious.

Amplio, bonito, alberca grande, vistas buna comida, solo que está alejado de lo turístico, que para entrar está fea la avenida y sin luz, y los restaurantes tiene precios altos, hay pocas opciones de restaurantes a tu alrededor.!el resort para estar ahí muy recomendado.!

Really nice stay before our departure flight from Thaïlande (Phuket). Only 1 night, but hotel is great and staff amazing.

Great hotel and the usual Thai warm welcome. The staff were always so friendly and helpful. Rooms and food was great. Kids pool was thoughtfully designed to have lots of shade from the trees. The gym was probably the best hotel gym I've used. Only slight negative - we really wanted to eat at the Thai restaurant on site but it was always fully booked. The main pool also got very busy with all sunbeds in use. The free shuttle into Mai Khao village centre was useful, but there isn't a lot to see there - a few shops and restaurants. If you do go there, please don't feed the elephants who are tethered to the ground whilst tourists pay to feed them bamboo. In 2026 it's shocking that this is still allowed ;(

Compared to other Thailand hotels this one isn’t very good, not a quick convenient stay. You’ll wait for your room. Your key won’t work - even after it was changed twice. The bartenders take forever if you can find one. This visit was during their low season so they weren’t extremely busy to be this slow. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere, you’ll get more out of your stay just a few minutes away.
