Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Houston Conroe

The initial room was musty but the lady at front desk switched us to a clean fresh room. Swimming pool was clean and well marked. Breakfast was delicious. No complains at all!

My work truck was broken into. They took Eveything, all my tools and equipment. No cameras no security. I will never stay here again.

There is a large amount of construction in the area of the hotel. My main problem with my stay is that there was no hot water for about 3/4 my stay. It came back on the night before I left.

The hotel was fine. The location is bad. There a lot of crime. My truck and several others were broken into. Hotel has no cameras or security. Windows were smashed and no one heard or saw anything. Police told me it happened a lot in that area.

It was very hot in Conroe which may account for the problems. However, the halls were very warm and stuffy. We turned the AC in our room to 60 degrees and it was only cool, should have been chilly at that temp. The breakfast is only adequate. Next trip to Conroe we will try staying somewhere else.

4 cars broken into in the parking lot. Supposedly security on site. No cameras around outside of building.

We couldn’t stay here. There was a water leak and you couldn’t get in the front door. They wouldn’t answer the phone either.

Hotel was clean and service was good. Cons: only one working ice machine that was leaking on floor, no soaps in bathroom (front desk did have), AC on 4th floor hall seemed to be out, very hot in hallway. Shower curtain ripped in our room.

Stay started well until we went to take a shower and realized the shower had no shower gel and the hot water was not that great. We got a good nights rest and then woke up to a nightmare of finding out truck at he k out time had been broken into and the glass broken out. Also noticed that several other vehicles were also broken into. We would like for you to look into your security person that works overnight and find out why this happened . We would love for our night to be refunded or a free night to compensate for our truck having to be repaired.

Nice hotel, clean, close to Montgomery County Fairgrounds. Only problem was the hot water...there was none.

We were there for a very brief amount of time. Put into a disabled room, it was filthy. I wore my shoes in the restroom so I wouldn’t touch the floors. You couldn’t shower because the water went everywhere. And while normally hearing families in a room over doesn’t bother me, I could clearly hear the poor screaming child all night.

Upon arriving at the hotel after 5 pm, I was disappointed to find that my room was not ready, causing me to be late to my own event. We were told they were cleaning the carpets . After a 40-minute wait, I was given access to the room, only to find that the carpets were still dirty and there was trash on the floor. I had also booked a room for the following day (Saturday) and another room for a family member arriving that evening, with the agent indicating a discount for the Saturday stay. However, when I received a call from a different agent (Cory) on Saturday, he claimed there was no record of my reservation or discount. I decided to check out and move to a different hotel but was persuaded to stay when a small discount was honored. Unfortunately, the room had a broken toilet, which was not reported by the cleaning staff. I was initially offered to use the lobby bathroom, which I found unacceptable. After maintenance fixed the toilet, it broke again in the middle of the night. I called the front desk around 7ish to report the issue. She informed me no one was available to assist, I was told I could use another room bathroom. At this point I prepared myself to check out. I had enough of being inconvenient. I will never stay at this location again. Also… the lobby seating is in very bad shape.. especially the bench seats.

Property and hotel were well kept

The room smell was very moldy. I purchased some air freshener to camouflage the smell. Their was hair still remaining in the desk chair. The toilet would periodically run water. I was surprised with Marriott being such a reputable name but it wasn’t the case with this hotel. I can provide further details if needed.

Was not as great as expected. Room was pretty small and outdated but did what I needed it to do. Comforter and sheets did not seem very clean as someone used eyelashes were in our sheets. Also did not have any body was our first night. Just feel like for what I paid it should have been nicer

AC wasn’t cooling well so the room was muggy and sticky. Beds are hard and uncomfortable.

Really good looking hotel but they don’t spend too much in comfort. The mattress in my room was really old, a giant hole was sitting on each side and could never laid flat which was uncomfortable and couldn’t rest the whole night. Big NO when it comes to recommend.

Rooms are extremely small and hotel layout is not traveler friendly.

Nice, quiet hotel...

Everything was fine except 2 things: they refuses to accommodate late check out, and in room 416 the bathtub would have about 2 foot of standing water in it by the time your done showering. They did let me choose a floor preference, and they gave us complementary water. The only way out to got south bound consist of going out of the way and I turning which sucked about the property location.

The location was right off the freeway making it very convenient. What I didn’t like was the noise from the air conditioning system in that room.

Unauthorized charges that were not disclosed or agreed upon. Originally they tried to charge my payment method thru tap pay after I left the property and had my final bill in hand. The charge was declined as they were trying to complete another $100 Unauthorized charge to my bank. Somehow they managed to get the charge through. Be careful with this property! They are very untrustworthy. I travel a lot, and I have never had an issue with my service dog staying for one night at a hotel. Guests with service animals, beware! This is an awful place to stay!

Was an amazing hotel. Cody from the front desk gave amazing service was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area. His smile was just contagious.

Hotel gave me trouble saying my room was not paid for and my card declined. I had receipt of paid with Expedia however they made me keep putting my card in and it was declined because of multiple duplicate charges too close together. Took staff too long to figure out I had paid. Unfortunately inconvenient when it’s late and you want to check in and hotel isn’t knowledgeable

Staff was professional, polite, helpful! Room was very clean, bed was extremely comfortable, I asked for the name and I am considering changing my home mattress! I have never slept on a more comfortable hotel bed. Room was safe, with additional lock on the door. I will return!

Stayed at Fairfield Inn and Suites in Conroe over the weekend and really enjoyed it. The place was super clean, which we really appreciated, and the location made everything easy to get to. What stood out the most was how quiet it was—nice and peaceful, which made it easy to relax. Overall, it was a great stay and we’d definitely come back next time we’re in the area.

Comfortable beds, nice cool rooms and good breakfast selections. Near shopping areas and many restaurants. The only thing bad was that you could not see it from the highway, but once found it was wonderful.

Difficult location to approach by car. Not so bad, once you know where the entrance is. The mattress was feeling it's age.

The hotel is wonderful, and the staff very friendly . Easy parking next to the Hwy 45.

Very nice room, bath was very clean, a/c was a little noisy but worked very well kept the room comfortable. Close to restaurants, shopping, lots to do.

We enjoyed the provided breakfast. There were quite a few options and choices varied by day. The bed and room were also pretty comfortable. Downside was the room smelled musty and the elevators were also regularly smelly. Housekeeping was also inconsistent. Sometimes we got coffee, sometimes we didn’t, but you can ask for some for the desk. However, the coffee downstairs and in-room was mediocre at best.

Apparently, there was some kind of truck convention and people were loitering around the hotel in droves. We almost ran over someone's kid running around in the parking lot! I'm guessing that's also why they price gouged us. Usual price is around $86 plus taxes and fees. We paid almost $250!! If we're going to pay that much for an overnight stay (we were in town less than 24 hours), they can at least have real coffee downstairs with creamer (not half-n-half) and make sure the pancakes on the buffet aren't hard as rocks. It was just a shame. We travel a lot and expect more from a well-known hotel brand such as Fairfield/Marriott and we've had way better experiences.

This is an older hotel and even though they’ve tried to maintain overall, it could use some renovations here and there. The stay was mostly quiet and right off the freeway. Breakfast was accommodating and check in/check out was quick and easy.

liked how close the elevator was to the room and exit /entry was easily accessible too not to mention free breakfast buffet

After a long day of driving the hot shower and comfortable bed is what I wanted and it is what Fairfield provided! Quick welcoming check in and a hot cup of decaf to help me begin to relax. Breakfast, hot and with a good variety was a wonderful way to start our next day.

Our stay was perfect. Staff was really friendly and the hotel was very nice. The complementary breakfast was solid with plenty of options and tasted great. Will definitely be staying here in the future
