We had a very short stay en route back from the south. This is a beautiful little hotel close to Calais. So much nicer than other motels I have used for stop overs and excellent value. Lovely old building part of a campsite and restaurant. Lovely breakfast with fresh warm pastries. Would have liked to stay longer but would highly recommend.

L'hotel se trouve dans une ancienne ferme rénovée, à coté du camping pour profiter des nombreuses activités (gratuites ou payantes suivant les cas). La mer se trouve à 20 minutes en voiture, le site du camping/hotel est calme et dépaysant. Nous avions une chambre familiale pour 4p, trés grande ! merci

Meine Kinder fanden die Wasserrutsche beim Pool cool. Ansonsten ist das Haus und die Einrichtung im Zimmer sehr alt. In der Decke waren Löscher und die Badezimmertür konnte nicht verriegelt werden.

L'auberge est établie sur un superbe domaine avec espaces verts, plans d’eau, piscine, mini-golf, etc Notre séjour fut malheureusement bien trop court pour en profiter pleinement. De même nous n’avons pas eu l’occasion de nous mettre à table au restaurant dont la carte avait l’air alléchante.

Great place. Dinner was very tasty but I probably should have just had a main not 3 courses as it was plentiful and I was stuffed after it. A lovely setting with everything you need. Breakfast very tasty continental style. Enjoyed our stay. Bed very comfortable and the room was perfect for the family. Our children liked the play area and it was hardly any time to get to le shuttle from there.

Check in was a little slow as the desk is not manned, took a few calls on the reception desk phone until a member of staff appeared. Room ok, a little dated but clean and comfortable. Did not eat in the restaurant so unable to comment. Went for a drink in the bar, hadn’t realised there is also a campsite here. Had food from the takeaway next to bar and took back to our room. Nice food and reasonably priced. Only here for one night but was very convenient to access euro tunnel the next morning. Again no one at reception desk on check out so just left our room key on the desk.

This hotel has an amazing restaurant the food was superb. The staff friendly and helpful and took time to get to know us and made great food recommendations. To be fair we normally have a bar meal which are also good, but next time we will be visiting the restaurant, extremely good value. There is an on site pool, take away, shop and bar all set in well cared for grounds of the beautiful chateau. The hotel room was a good size and had a huge bathroom with everything you needed and more.

Room was clean. Our check in time was 13:00 but there was no staff. There were phone numbers on an unmanned reception desk that rang off. After a long journey we were keen to spend some time in the pool during a sunny afternoon. I had to walk a distance with my two tired young children and eventually found a maintenance man who said that someone would be there at 16:00. We walked to the neighbouring campsite where a staff member took off in a golf cart ahead of us leaving us to walk back again. We missed the sunny afternoon trying to check in and then the rain came back as soon as we had accessed our room. The room was clean but had Lino on the floor which was strange. The staff at the campsite bistro were friendly and helpful and the food was reasonable. The hotel was entirely unstaffed which felt a bit insecure. We could not find anyone to leave the key with in the morning so just left it on the desk. The surrounds were attractive and well maintained.

Great location for the Eurotunnel. We arrived around 20:00 and were met on arrival with a friendly welcome. Room was clean and fine for an overnight stay but very basic and the bathroom very dated.

After a long day of travelling, we made a last-minute decision to add one more overnight stop before heading home from the Eurotunnel — and we’re so glad we did. What a gem! This charming small hotel is beautifully peaceful, with just a few rooms, and everything was clean and well maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We also had a lovely dinner at the on-site restaurant, which made the evening even more relaxing. It felt like a perfect little escape to recharge before the final stretch home. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful stopover in beautiful surroundings.

la chambre en elle-même avait un haut potentiel, mais n’était pas exploité sa juste valeur une kitchenette, ou un micro-ondes aurait été un réel plus la literie est parfaite, mais un peu vieillot, une chose vraiment négative a été que les chambres ne sont pas insonorisé donc les voisins du dessus n’ont pas arrêté de la soirée et c’est OK mais pas jusqu’à 3h du matin et tôt le matin repris à 6h autre point négatif l’odeur de la chambre qui sentait le poisson riz qui est resté tout le long du séjour. Pas beaucoup de serviette pour quatre personnes et un gel douche et un savon vide. La seule chose qui a fait de cette chambre, un bon moment moment a été sa grandeur et le confort de ses lit

Staff lovely. Photos as described. There was a smell of damp in the room which may be explained by old building cold weather and lack of ventilation unit in ensuite. However pleasant enough stay. Bed was comfortable and perfect location for the Eurotunnel the next morning

J ai réservé une chambre pour 3 personnes. La chambre était assez spacieuse. Une salle de bain moderne. Un petit bémol concernant l isolation. On entend les chambres à côté. J avais aussi réservé une chambre pour 2 personnes et la chambre avait un style un peu vieux ainsi que la salle de bain

Bedden erg klein omdat kamer ook kleiner is. Meeste kamers alleen via trap bereikbaar. Mooie douche, kluisje etc. Supervriendelijk personeel, en erg goed restaurant.

Wir hatten eine Zwischenübernachtung. Die Zimmer sind relativ klein aber sauber. Es ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Trotzdem eine sehr angenehme Lokation.

Lange Rede kurzer Sinn, in Deutschland wurde man es mit 6-8 Zimmern als Landpension bezeichnen. Lage ist ruhig, 20 Autominuten von Calais entfernt. Zimmer sind spartanisch, hellhörig und nicht klimatisiert. Die Fenster sind winzig und haben keine Fliegengitter. Wir haben dann aushilfsweise für die 3 Nächte eines angebracht. Ohne eins hätte man selbst im Oktober nachts keine Luft mehr im Zimmer bekommen, wenn die Fenster zugeblieben wären. Und auf Mücken etc. stehen wir nicht so. Hervorzuheben ist das Frühstück. Pro Person gab es jeweils ein ganz frisches Baguette Brötchen, einen frischen Croissant und ein Schoko Brötchen. Dazu eine kleine Wurst, Käse und Marmeladen Auswahl. Joghurts, Müsli und Obst gab es auch. Alles in allem stimmt die Preisleistung. Ein deutsches 3-Sterne Hotel darf man nicht erwarten. Für 2-3 Nächte in der Nebensaison ok. Wenns wärmer wie 25 Grad wird - auf keinen Fall. Die gute Fee vor Ort ist freundlich und spricht gebrochen englisch.

The staff are fantastic. We love this place, we start our europe trips here and end them here too. Breakfast is lovely and the restaurant is amazing. The mattresses could do with updating and i do not like the smell of the mattress covers. Xx

A delightful conversion of an old farm property, and the restaurant was excellent. Obviously I guess most people stay there for proximity to the Eurotunnel, so very convenient. Our room was adequate but not spacious, I think overpriced.

Le sejour etait bien grace au cadre mais peu d'isolation phonique, nous entendions le voisin de chambre ronfler et le matin vous etes réveillés des qu'il y a des personnes qui sortent de leur chambre. Extrêmement decu par le restaurant, assaillis par trois serveurs differents a peine assis qui demandent ce qu'on a choisi mais ne font aucune proposition, se trompent dans notre commande et personne ne s'en excuse ! Par contre vous les verrez courir dans tout le restaurant comme des poulets sans tête... La responsable donne les ordres sans aucune discretion et les plats ne sont pas terribles surtout pour le prix ! Nous sommes allés prendre notre café et dessert dans le petit resto du camping, beaucoup plus agréable !

Check in was a little slow as the desk is not manned, took a few calls on the reception desk phone until a member of staff appeared. Room ok, a little dated but clean and comfortable. Did not eat in the restaurant so unable to comment. Went for a drink in the bar, hadn’t realised there is also a campsite here. Had food from the takeaway next to bar and took back to our room. Nice food and reasonably priced. Only here for one night but was very convenient to access euro tunnel the next morning. Again no one at reception desk on check out so just left our room key on the desk.

Disappointing. It was not a Colombier. It is an outdated barm conversion of 7 bedrooms on the side of a campsite. It requires a thorough refurbishment. Reception is unmanned and check/in telephone system did not work. We had to search for staff. Previous reviews have said the same but obviously the management take no heed. Breakfast was in an unattended separate building. Food has been preplaced and I’m covered on individual tables. There were some enclosed temperature controlled cabinets.

Room was clean. Our check in time was 13:00 but there was no staff. There were phone numbers on an unmanned reception desk that rang off. After a long journey we were keen to spend some time in the pool during a sunny afternoon. I had to walk a distance with my two tired young children and eventually found a maintenance man who said that someone would be there at 16:00. We walked to the neighbouring campsite where a staff member took off in a golf cart ahead of us leaving us to walk back again. We missed the sunny afternoon trying to check in and then the rain came back as soon as we had accessed our room. The room was clean but had Lino on the floor which was strange. The staff at the campsite bistro were friendly and helpful and the food was reasonable. The hotel was entirely unstaffed which felt a bit insecure. We could not find anyone to leave the key with in the morning so just left it on the desk. The surrounds were attractive and well maintained.

We had a very short stay en route back from the south. This is a beautiful little hotel close to Calais. So much nicer than other motels I have used for stop overs and excellent value. Lovely old building part of a campsite and restaurant. Lovely breakfast with fresh warm pastries. Would have liked to stay longer but would highly recommend.

Great location for the Eurotunnel. We arrived around 20:00 and were met on arrival with a friendly welcome. Room was clean and fine for an overnight stay but very basic and the bathroom very dated.

Perfect start to our our holiday in France. Minutes away from the Shuttle and the amenities in Calais. After driving down from Manchester it was the perfect place to spend the night prior to driving down to the South of France. The breakfast is a fantastic start to the day, fresh croissants, pain au chocolate, baguette, cheese and cold meat as well as fruit juice, yoghurt and cakes (Madeleins). Beds very comfortable for a good night's sleep.

After a long day of travelling, we made a last-minute decision to add one more overnight stop before heading home from the Eurotunnel — and we’re so glad we did. What a gem! This charming small hotel is beautifully peaceful, with just a few rooms, and everything was clean and well maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We also had a lovely dinner at the on-site restaurant, which made the evening even more relaxing. It felt like a perfect little escape to recharge before the final stretch home. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful stopover in beautiful surroundings.

It was close to the Le Tunnel sous La Manche and easy to find. The grounds were great and when we go again as we surely will, we will eat at their restaurant. Breakfast was amazing with a plentiful supply of coffee, baguettes and croissants together with butter and jams, yogurt and fresh fruit.

Great place. Dinner was very tasty but I probably should have just had a main not 3 courses as it was plentiful and I was stuffed after it. A lovely setting with everything you need. Breakfast very tasty continental style. Enjoyed our stay. Bed very comfortable and the room was perfect for the family. Our children liked the play area and it was hardly any time to get to le shuttle from there.

Lange Rede kurzer Sinn, in Deutschland wurde man es mit 6-8 Zimmern als Landpension bezeichnen. Lage ist ruhig, 20 Autominuten von Calais entfernt. Zimmer sind spartanisch, hellhörig und nicht klimatisiert. Die Fenster sind winzig und haben keine Fliegengitter. Wir haben dann aushilfsweise für die 3 Nächte eines angebracht. Ohne eins hätte man selbst im Oktober nachts keine Luft mehr im Zimmer bekommen, wenn die Fenster zugeblieben wären. Und auf Mücken etc. stehen wir nicht so. Hervorzuheben ist das Frühstück. Pro Person gab es jeweils ein ganz frisches Baguette Brötchen, einen frischen Croissant und ein Schoko Brötchen. Dazu eine kleine Wurst, Käse und Marmeladen Auswahl. Joghurts, Müsli und Obst gab es auch. Alles in allem stimmt die Preisleistung. Ein deutsches 3-Sterne Hotel darf man nicht erwarten. Für 2-3 Nächte in der Nebensaison ok. Wenns wärmer wie 25 Grad wird - auf keinen Fall. Die gute Fee vor Ort ist freundlich und spricht gebrochen englisch.

We love how convenient the hotel is for the Tunnel and that the rooms are very pleasant. The area around the hotel is excellent for taking the dog for a short walk. The one area that we are a little less happy with is the quality of the food for dinner. We were also surprised about how quickly one course followed another! It was almost like being in England!

This hotel has an amazing restaurant the food was superb. The staff friendly and helpful and took time to get to know us and made great food recommendations. To be fair we normally have a bar meal which are also good, but next time we will be visiting the restaurant, extremely good value. There is an on site pool, take away, shop and bar all set in well cared for grounds of the beautiful chateau. The hotel room was a good size and had a huge bathroom with everything you needed and more.

Ok for a stop over. No check in desk. You have to ring for assistance when you arrive. It wasn't clear what to dow with the key when leaving, so left the key with the cleaner. Room was clean, comfortable and basic. It suited our needs for an overnight stop in preparation from returning to the UK.

This is the second time we have been here for a little holiday. It is such a wonderful place to go. The kids love it and I can just relax and enjoy being on holiday and feel so safe and content. The hotel was really clean and the staff onsite are so friendly. The pool with the water slide was a massive hit with the kids. We will definitely be booking to go back again next year.

Une belle découverte et une adresse à conserver. le logement est très correct, salle de bain neuve et fonctionnelle. Tout était parfait pour une nuit. Le petit déjeuner était bon et copieux, tout est a disposition vous vous gérez seuls, il n'y a pas de personnel. Cela ne nous a pas dérangé et nous avons manqué de rien. Nous avons mangé également au restaurant attenant et c'était excellent et également copieux. La piscine qui est du côté du camping était remplie de monde à cette période. Nous y reviendrons en période plus calme pour mieux apprécier.
