The proprietor, Panus, could not have been more helpful. He responded proactively, and with good humour to all our requests, e.g. printing out maps and bus timetables, providing towels when we went swimming, offering help to carry our cases to the pick-up point for the return transfer and also to help when the pickup was late. He would be helpful for booking trips, if they weren’t already booked. The breakfast was a continental and more than adequate, with choices including: fruit juices; tea, coffee, etc; cereals and muesli; cake, bread, butter, cheese and turkey slices, jam. The accommodation comprised a double bedroom with air-conditioning, and a bathroom with shower. The room was cleaned, and the towels were changed daily. The pickup point (Saint Gerasimos Church, Firostephani) for the hotel is about 100 yards away, on footpaths. This pick up point was used for our arrival/departure, for day trips and for the (very) local bus. Buses (only) run from/to Fira to the main towns on the island.

Hotel Mylos was wonderful. Great location-walking distance to Fira but far enough away so the crowds are not overwhelming. Views were AMAZING. We spent two of our nights on the private veranda watching the sunset. The area was mostly quiet with just a little music drifting over from the next door restaurant. The staff was incredible-Klaire and Mina were so helpful. There was an initial issue with the AC and they did everything possible to make sure we were comfortable. It was fixed and they even graciously provided us a fabulous bottle of wine for the inconvenience. They had good suggestions and arranged transportation to the port for us. They also held our luggage on our last day after check out. The staff made you feel like family. The room was comfortable with a fridge, clothes line and table/chairs/loungers on the patio. The bathroom could use more hooks and better lighting. Breakfast was simple and delicious and delivered to your room at the time you choose. The area and room were clean and daily housekeeping was a big bonus! Highly recommend and will stay again if ever back!

Room was excellent. Clean and comfortable with an amazing view. The bathroom was a little bit on the small side- definitely needs an extra shelf and more hooks to hang more than one towel. Other than that, the service was absolutely excellent. We even had some classical music drift over from the restaurant next door, but not loud enough to disturb the tranquility. There’s a busy path next to the hotel but you can’t hear it at all from the room. Air conditioning works wonders, and turns on only when the door to the balcony is closed- quite clever. Breakfast was lovely- they brought it to our balcony. Bread, jams, butter, honey, yoghurts and selection of cereals. (Must buy own non-dairy milk if you need though, but there’s a fridge so it’s very handy). Hairdryer and soaps also provided. Finally, the staff Suela and Anna were spectacular and helpful. Overall, phenomenal!

I loved everything about my stay here. My room (102) had amazing views over the caldera. It was spotlessly clean too. A lovely breakfast was served at your table on a shared balcony, again with amazing views. Xristina, the hostess for my stay was welcoming and friendly, answering any questions and more than happy to arrange taxis or trips for me. When I return to the island I would love to stay here again!

The views from the room and balcony were amazing. People were going to expensive restaurants for the exact same view. Xristina at the desk was very nice and helpful when we had to communicate with a pre-arranged tour. Having continental breakfast on the balcony delivered on our schedule was great. Minor nits -- bathroom is small, hard to avoid getting floor wet while showering, and the only place to put soap while showering was to move soap dish to toilet.

We stayed in the Premier Room (Caldera view) for 3 nights at the beginning of our stay in Greece. Yanis picked us up and did a great job. He was at the airport, and carried our bags (2x50 lb) up the stairs to our room. He went over the details we needed about the room. We had our order for breakfast, which we left in the box at the office door that evening. Our room had its own private balcony with 2 seats and a beautiful view. We walked to Fira to dinner two of the nights. The hotel is on the walking path, so it was easy for us to hike to Oia and take the bus back (2 E) to Fira and then walk back to Firostefani. The hotel was very convenient, and did not have a lot of steps (some of the hotels are down many stairs). The morning we left, it was too early to get breakfast. If I had it to do over, I'd order double the day before leaving, and have the food in the refrigerator until the morning we left. But there was a bakery next to the entrance to the airport. There was a REALLY LONG line to check in for the flight, so I walked next door for pastries while my husband stayed in line. I would highly recommend this hotel. Mina, at the desk, was also very helpful and kind!

Charmant petit hôtel très bien situé. Notre chambre n’était pas très grande mais fonctionnelle et adaptée pour un séjour d’une nuit. Les tables pour le petit déjeuner de chaque chambre sont situées sur une terrasse offrant une vue spectaculaire sur la caldeira. Le petit déjeuner, tout en étant correct, n’est pas extraordinaire. Mina nous a donné de très bons conseils pour les restaurants et les activités. Juste à côté, un excellent petit restaurant, to briki, avec la même vue, offre une carte de qualité à prix raisonnable pour Santorin…

This hotel came highly recommended, and we’re glad we chose to stay here. The location is excellent—just a 2-minute walk to the main Firostefani square. Since it’s at street level, you avoid the hassle of climbing multiple flight of stairs, unlike many other Caldera-facing hotels across the island. There are several fantastic restaurants nearby, including our favorite, Aktion, all within a 2-3 minute walk. We stayed in the superior deluxe room, which featured a spacious, private balcony overlooking the Caldera—and that was the highlight of our stay. While the room itself was simple, the breathtaking views from the balcony made it unforgettable. Breakfast was a basic continental spread—nothing fancy, but it suited me fine since I don’t usually eat a big breakfast. The staff were courteous and friendly, and we had no complaints. I would strongly recommend this hotel!

Hotel Mylos was great and the balcony and bedroom view was incredible. Breakfast in the morning was simply yet filling. Best part was how accommodating the hotel desk was. Panos booked us a taxi for our last day that accommodated us to drive by and get our mandatory COVID test. There are hundreds of places to stay here in Santorini and Hotel Mylos was a great option if you’re looking.

This pick up point was used for our arrival/departure, for day trips and for the (very) local bus. Buses (only) run from/to Fira to the main towns on the island.
The proprietor, Panus, could not have been more helpful. He responded proactively, and with good humour to all our requests, e.g. printing out maps and bus timetables, providing towels when we went swimming, offering help to carry our cases to the pick-up point for the return transfer and also to help when the pickup was late. He would be helpful for booking trips, if they weren’t already booked. The breakfast was a continental and more than adequate, with choices including: fruit juices; tea, coffee, etc; cereals and muesli; cake, bread, butter, cheese and turkey slices, jam. The accommodation comprised a double bedroom with air-conditioning, and a bathroom with shower. The room was cleaned, and the towels were changed daily. The pickup point (Saint Gerasimos Church, Firostephani) for the hotel is about 100 yards away, on footpaths. This was the perfect location and price point for us. We like to walk, don’t like the cruise ship tourists and love to sit in the evenings and enjoy the view! This hotel gave us that. The breakfast was handy and allowed us to enjoy the beautiful view while having breakfast each morning. Its location is at the top of the caldera so we didn’t have to walk our luggage down stairs. The hostess was very helpful and friendly. She booked us a fabulous catamaran tour where we swam in the volcano warmed water and watched the beautiful sunset. It is right on the walking path to Oia (2 hrs) and Fira (10mins). We took the bus from the airport for 2.59 euros to Fira. So easy!

Views, views, views... Taxi driver Giannis picked us up from airport and we had to park about 3 blocks from hotel. Giannis helped carry our bags up the steps to our room. The views from our private balcony were incredible.

Hotel Mylos was wonderful. Great location-walking distance to Fira but far enough away so the crowds are not overwhelming. Views were AMAZING. We spent two of our nights on the private veranda watching the sunset. The area was mostly quiet with just a little music drifting over from the next door restaurant. The staff was incredible-Klaire and Mina were so helpful. There was an initial issue with the AC and they did everything possible to make sure we were comfortable. It was fixed and they even graciously provided us a fabulous bottle of wine for the inconvenience. They had good suggestions and arranged transportation to the port for us. They also held our luggage on our last day after check out. The staff made you feel like family. The room was comfortable with a fridge, clothes line and table/chairs/loungers on the patio. The bathroom could use more hooks and better lighting. Breakfast was simple and delicious and delivered to your room at the time you choose. The area and room were clean and daily housekeeping was a big bonus! Highly recommend and will stay again if ever back!

Room was excellent. Clean and comfortable with an amazing view. The bathroom was a little bit on the small side- definitely needs an extra shelf and more hooks to hang more than one towel. Other than that, the service was absolutely excellent. We even had some classical music drift over from the restaurant next door, but not loud enough to disturb the tranquility. There’s a busy path next to the hotel but you can’t hear it at all from the room. Air conditioning works wonders, and turns on only when the door to the balcony is closed- quite clever. Breakfast was lovely- they brought it to our balcony. Bread, jams, butter, honey, yoghurts and selection of cereals. (Must buy own non-dairy milk if you need though, but there’s a fridge so it’s very handy). Hairdryer and soaps also provided. Finally, the staff Suela and Anna were spectacular and helpful. Overall, phenomenal!

We stayed in the Premier Room (Caldera view) for 3 nights at the beginning of our stay in Greece. Yanis picked us up and did a great job. He was at the airport, and carried our bags (2x50 lb) up the stairs to our room. He went over the details we needed about the room. We had our order for breakfast, which we left in the box at the office door that evening. Our room had its own private balcony with 2 seats and a beautiful view. We walked to Fira to dinner two of the nights. The hotel is on the walking path, so it was easy for us to hike to Oia and take the bus back (2 E) to Fira and then walk back to Firostefani. The hotel was very convenient, and did not have a lot of steps (some of the hotels are down many stairs). The morning we left, it was too early to get breakfast. If I had it to do over, I'd order double the day before leaving, and have the food in the refrigerator until the morning we left. But there was a bakery next to the entrance to the airport. There was a REALLY LONG line to check in for the flight, so I walked next door for pastries while my husband stayed in line. I would highly recommend this hotel. Mina, at the desk, was also very helpful and kind!

This hotel came highly recommended, and we’re glad we chose to stay here. The location is excellent—just a 2-minute walk to the main Firostefani square. Since it’s at street level, you avoid the hassle of climbing multiple flight of stairs, unlike many other Caldera-facing hotels across the island. There are several fantastic restaurants nearby, including our favorite, Aktion, all within a 2-3 minute walk. We stayed in the superior deluxe room, which featured a spacious, private balcony overlooking the Caldera—and that was the highlight of our stay. While the room itself was simple, the breathtaking views from the balcony made it unforgettable. Breakfast was a basic continental spread—nothing fancy, but it suited me fine since I don’t usually eat a big breakfast. The staff were courteous and friendly, and we had no complaints. I would strongly recommend this hotel!

Octobre 2021, M. Panos est dévoué et d’une extrême gentillesse, il nous a aidé avec notre bateau qui venait d’être annulé pour retourner sur le continent. Bref, Firostefani est l’emplacement idéal pour visiter Santorini et cet hôtel est très bien situé. Vue magnifique sur la Caldeira et sur le volcan. Terrasse parfaite. Petit déjeuner et chambre simple, malgré tout.

This hotel is in a fantastic location in Firostefani, close to restaurants and shops and a 15 minute walk along the cliff to Fira, it is a wonderful walk. The views over the caldera are amazing. We had breakfast overlooking the caldera. The lasy at the reception was super helpful with information and booking a taxi and transfer from the port and to the airport.

This hotel is great! If you want a hotel with an ocean view, but without the hundreds of steps up or down, this is it. It’s very convenient to restaurants and stores. The main bus stop is very close by. The hotel staff is very friendly and let us check in a little bit early and upon check out, watched our bags for a few hours for free. The hotel staff negotiated with a taxi company to pick up our group of 6 to and from the airport for a reasonable price. Walking up to a taxi company we were quoted 20 or $30 more. Definitely recommend and will visit again in the future.

Room was excellent. Clean and comfortable with an amazing view. The bathroom was a little bit on the small side- definitely needs an extra shelf and more hooks to hang more than one towel. Other than that, the service was absolutely excellent. We even had some classical music drift over from the restaurant next door, but not loud enough to disturb the tranquility. There’s a busy path next to the hotel but you can’t hear it at all from the room. Air conditioning works wonders, and turns on only when the door to the balcony is closed- quite clever. Breakfast was lovely- they brought it to our balcony. Bread, jams, butter, honey, yoghurts and selection of cereals. We stayed in the Premier Room (Caldera view) for 3 nights at the beginning of our stay in Greece. Yanis picked us up and did a great job. He was at the airport, and carried our bags (2x50 lb) up the stairs to our room. He went over the details we needed about the room. We had our order for breakfast, which we left in the box at the office door that evening. Our room had its own private balcony with 2 seats and a beautiful view. We walked to Fira to dinner two of the nights. The hotel is on the walking path, so it was easy for us to hike to Oia and take the bus back (2 E) to Fira and then walk back to Firostefani. The hotel was very convenient, and did not have a lot of steps (some of the hotels are down many stairs). The morning we left, it was too early to get breakfast. If I had it to do over, I'd order double the day before leaving, and have the food in the refrigerator until the morning we left. But there was a bakery next to the entrance to the airport. There was a REALLY LONG line to check in for the flight, so I walked next door for pastries while my husband stayed in line. I would highly recommend this hotel. Mina, at the desk, was also very helpful and kind!

I loved everything about my stay here. My room (102) had amazing views over the caldera. It was spotlessly clean too. A lovely breakfast was served at your table on a shared balcony, again with amazing views. Xristina, the hostess for my stay was welcoming and friendly, answering any questions and more than happy to arrange taxis or trips for me. When I return to the island I would love to stay here again!

Charmant petit hôtel très bien situé. Notre chambre n’était pas très grande mais fonctionnelle et adaptée pour un séjour d’une nuit. Les tables pour le petit déjeuner de chaque chambre sont situées sur une terrasse offrant une vue spectaculaire sur la caldeira. Le petit déjeuner, tout en étant correct, n’est pas extraordinaire. Mina nous a donné de très bons conseils pour les restaurants et les activités. Juste à côté, un excellent petit restaurant, to briki, avec la même vue, offre une carte de qualité à prix raisonnable pour Santorin…

This hotel came highly recommended, and we’re glad we chose to stay here. The location is excellent—just a 2-minute walk to the main Firostefani square. Since it’s at street level, you avoid the hassle of climbing multiple flight of stairs, unlike many other Caldera-facing hotels across the island. There are several fantastic restaurants nearby, including our favorite, Aktion, all within a 2-3 minute walk. We stayed in the superior deluxe room, which featured a spacious, private balcony overlooking the Caldera—and that was the highlight of our stay. While the room itself was simple, the breathtaking views from the balcony made it unforgettable. Breakfast was a basic continental spread—nothing fancy, but it suited me fine since I don’t usually eat a big breakfast. The staff were courteous and friendly, and we had no complaints. I would strongly recommend this hotel!

This hotel is in a fantastic location in Firostefani, close to restaurants and shops and a 15 minute walk along the cliff to Fira, it is a wonderful walk. The views over the caldera are amazing. We had breakfast overlooking the caldera. The lasy at the reception was super helpful with information and booking a taxi and transfer from the port and to the airport.

En medio de un corte de luz nocturno bajamos escaleras a oscuras. Escalera empinada sin baranda a la derecha. La instalación no vale el precio pagado.

Second time staying at this hotel, the views from the balcony over the caldera are picture postcard worthy. The staff were so helpful and really good helping us with transport when we had a last minute boat change when we were leaving. It is lovely that you get brealfast delivered to balcony every morning, so can enjoy the view. The location in Firostefani is great, quieter than Fira but only about 10-15 min walk away on a lovely cliffside walk. The Fira to Oia walk that you can join outside the property is amazing too.

Rommet var som forventet ut i fra beskrivelsen. Hadde rom på 1 etg med felles veranda med 4-5 andre rom. Hvert rom hadde egne stoler og bord hvor også frokosten ble servert. Hyggelig å sitte på verandaen på ettermiddagen, se på fergene, ta en pils og snakke med naboene. Kun 8-10 minutter spasertur fra Firostefani ned til Thira og shopping og restauranter der. Ene kvelden ble vi i Firostefani, stille og rolig i forhold til Thira, med gode restauranter også her. Mina var veldig behjelpelig og fulgte oss opp under oppholdet. Ordnet transfer fra havnen til hotellet, og fra hotellet til flyplassen. Sjåføren viste oss rom og hjalp til med innsjekkingen da vi kom, og var like blid og hjelpsom da han kjørte oss til flyplassen. Kan fint anbefale å bo her.

Property is well maintained and ideal Location , very close to bus stop so u don’t have to walk alot with ur baggage just a little bit walk though … we had early morning flight and receptionist Mina allowed us to check in early which was the best part as we didn’t have to wait till check in time of 2;00 pm as room was ready in morning … best view from our Balcony , nice breakfast .. only drawback was very light curtains so there was a lot of light come in room and was difficult for us to sleep in light .. I enjoyed my stay though
