Hotel Alt Interlaken

Staff is great and helpful, and the Spa on the top floor is a nice feature. The hotel could use some long term maintenance in some places and streetnoise can be an issue in some rooms.

We booked 2 superior lake view rooms. The cleanliness and decor were terrible. Broken tiles in the bathroom, doors broken, parts of the bathtub damaged. Dirty floors. In 1 room there was a balcony so cracked and broken it looked dangerous. The metal window frames were rusty. We asked to change rooms but were told it wasn’t possible as the hotel was fully booked.

Excellent location but no parking available. One needs to find parking somewhere else.

Hotel Lobby updated and comfortable. Room was very worn out and needs to be updated. Bed was comfortable, plenty of hot water for showering. Lake view room great view of lake. Location good. Older hotel without much mainatnce and updating in the rooms.
