Om dette overnatningssted

Wolds Retreat is bungalow with private parking, centrally located in the sought-after Parish of Keyworth. All the amenities are within walking distance or a very short car ride away. The property is accessed by one step through the front door leading into a small Porch where coats and shoes can be stored, but once inside it is all on the ground level. The property has a welcoming lounge with both the Kitchen and Bedroom access. The Kitchen is well equipped should you wish to use it rather than eat out with quality products. The Bedroom has fitted wardrobes with shelves and long-hanging rails for your clothes. There is a 55-inch TV centrally located on the wall facing the bed, so no squinting to watch this TV in bed and both TVs in lounge and bedroom come with a Virgin Media package including good internet access. The shower room is off the bedroom and offers a good size shower cubicle with plenty of storage for your toiletries. Keyworth has a plethora of independent shops, cafes, boutiques, as well as a good selection of Pubs, restaurants and takeaways. Although Keyworth has grown in population due to its location within Nottinghamshire, it has managed to keep its village vibe with lots of activities and clubs servicing the community. An up-to-date monthly copy of the Keyworth News is always available within the property for your convenience. Our property is ideal for those visiting family and need extra space, or attending an event such as weddings, or if working at the British Geological Survey building which is less than a 5-minute walk away. The owners live next door and if there is anything that we can do to ensure you have the best stay, our contact details are available inside the property.Keyworth is a thriving countryside village resting between Nottingham and Melton Mowbray. The village is known for its strong community spirit and elevated setting on the South Nottinghamshire landscape, and offers a good selection of attractions including Rushcliffe Country Park with its walking trails and lake, alongside the historic St Mary Magdalene Church. Dining options include The Windmill, a laid-back pub ideal for classic comfort food and easy-going drinks, and Alice's Tea Shop, a quaint café known for homemade bakes and light lunches, while you can stock up on essentials at the nearby Co-op and Sainsbury's Local. Within the village, guests can also enjoy a local skate park and access to nearby golf facilities, adding to its appeal for both families and outdoor enthusiasts. For a traditional pub experience nearby, The Plough at Normanton is a well-regarded countryside pub offering food and drinks in a rural setting. A short drive away is Nottingham with Nottingham Castle and the City of Caves, which offer rich history and unique underground exploration, making it an excellent choice for a cultural day out, while Melton Mowbray features the Melton Carnegie Museum and its traditional markets, which celebrate the town's heritage and food scene, making it a rewarding stop for sampling local produce.
