The manager and then the concierge stayed in touch with us by email or phone throughout our stay as needed. A car was organised to pick us up from the airport and back, to the riverboat and back and to a wonderful traditional hamam on our final day. All effort was made to help us make the most of our time in Istanbul. Help was given with the currency exchange! The hotel is very clean and the breakfast delicious, traditional and varied. There is a 24 hr hot drinks machine. Aside from the pretty room, with balcony , lovely hot shower, there is a wonderful roof terrace with views over the Bosphorus and a little sunny courtyard with cats watching you while you let your breakfast go down. Really comfortable bed and pillows. We slept very well. The location is perfect close to trams to explore both sides of the river, and within a short walk of the Blue mosque and close by sights. Thank you to a friendly, efficient, non-intrusive team.

The room was well appointed and had nice touches like heated floors near the toilet. The beds were very comfortable, the whole hotel was very well maintained and clean. The staff was lovely from the sweet maids to the excellent and attentive front desk attendant. The breakfast room was open all hours for coffee, teas or refilling your water bottle which was nice and convenient. The terrace on the roof has a beautiful view of the water and the ships passing. The area feels super safe, well lit with tons of other boutique hotels, shops, cafes and restaurants with people strolling around at night taking in all the colors, sights and delicious smells. Excellent value for the price!

Excellent location in Sultanahmet. This is an older property with a small room, but it was clean. The bed was comfortable and no issues with hot water. Beautiful rooftop patio free for guests to use. The complimentary breakfast had many dishes including meats, eggs, yogurt, breads, sweets, and carious Turkish dishes. Staff in all roles at the property were helpful and friendly.

The hotel is very central and walking distance from the Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque and Topkapi palace. the only problem we had was where to park the car. Parking in the area is extremely difficult. The hotel is situated on a cut-de-sac and there is building work going on which means that there is no parking on the street.

Very conveniently located; just a short walking distance from the big sights and from public transport and ATMs. The staff is great. They can arrange transportation from and to the airport, which although a bit pricey for one person, I really appreciated it because I didn’t have to worry about it in the least; plus the vehicle was very roomy. Breakfast was good too! Good value for your money over all.

Hotel is really close to the Hagia Sofia. Best unique feature was the terrace on the roof. It was an amazing experience to watch the sunrise over Bosphoros drinking tea on the terrace. Food options are abundant, in a block distance. Compared to the surrounding streets, this one id on a quiet one. Breakfast was good. We stayed two nights, and it was great value for the money.

Stay was good but the hotel was not updated, mattress felt like we are sleeping on a spring. Shower drain was clogged everytime i would take a shower the water would just fill up, it was very annoying.

This small hotel is well located in Sultanahmet, with lots of sights and restaurants nearby. The rooms are smallish by North American standards, but have everything you need. The staff are very helpful, and the breakfast buffet has an excellent variety of Turkish items. We stayed for a week. Clean, good bathrooms, bottled water provided.

The property was ok, but the neighbourhood was noisy. In our room there were ants and the bathroom was leaking when you shower, which I reported to the receptionist but nothing was.

Nous avons passé 3 nuits dans cet hôtel, ils ont organisé le transfert à l’aéroport avec notre demande il est propre et petit déjeuner très bon, juste il manque peut être des fruits ( j’aime au petit déjeuner) à part cela très bien passé. Il y avait aussi un petit souci la nuit car il pleuvait beaucoup et nous étions la chambre tout en haut donc ça coulait gouttes à goutte au milieu de la chambre. Merci à vous pour notre merveilleux accueil et à bientôt j’espère! Buki !

My room 303, needs a basket in the room. It's not enough the basket in the bathroom, it's little and you must always go to the bathroom ! The wall are very thin and you can ear everything and noise from the adjacent room ( many unpolite people ). In the morning, if you open the window during breakfast time, the smell of egg omelettes fills the room. The wallpaper near the TV is broken and should be fixed, it's not nice to see. The manager who is also the owner of the hotel, she always refused to meet me during the 6 days of my stay, but she answered at my mail. The three guys of the front office are kind, helpful and polite with a special mention for Mr Ismail. Some noise from the street, back to the main entrance, some nights late at night.

The location of this hotel is extremely convenient—major historic landmarks such as the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and Topkapi Palace are all just a five‑minute walk away. The hotel is very clean, and the room was excellent. I stayed in a sea‑view room, and the view was absolutely amazing. Breakfast was fantastic as well. The front desk staff—Omer, Ismail, and Efa—were incredibly helpful. A special thanks to Omer, who assisted us in planning our daily tours; he was truly outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel—you simply can’t go wrong staying here. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit.

Hotel's location was excellent - just few minutes on foot from many of the major attractions in Sultanahmet/Fatih. Staff at reception were quite helpful and polite. The room was clean and sufficiently large for two people with suitcases, but without hardly any soundproofing. We could hear conversations, furniture being moved etc. in the nearby rooms. The breakfast was ok, but items were not always replenished, even with another hour and a half before breakfast closing time. We stayed 6 nights and feel that this hotel is better suited for short stays.

It's a small hotel 7-8 minutes from Sultanahmet square and close to piblic transportation. Room was small but it was ok because we only went in late night and leave early. Breakfast was good, they offer omelette other than the rich buffet. Very friendly and helpful staff. The only complaint was AC was barely sufficient, it doesn't cool down the room quickly.

The reception at the hotel was phenomenal! After a long trip from Canada, the front desk receptionnist kindly offers his help to find restaurant, explains the mains attractions, gives us a map and talk about the services of the hotel. We really enjoy the little terrace of the hotel at night after our days of walk for taking a drink and enjoy the view. It was quiet! I cannot talk enough about the kindness of the front desk reception who always ensure that we have a great time! Thanks!

Great staff - very courteous and went out of their way to be helpful. The room was surprisingly spacious and was very clean. The breakfast was very much a traditional Turkish breakfast. Instead of sloping scrambled eggs and beans in a tin, these were proper eggs with spices, different yogurts and cheeses, local breakfast meats and teas. And, of course, the location is outstanding - just a few minutes walk to Sultanahmet Camii (the Blue Mosque). The hotel also arranged for a cab to take us to the airport for a flat rate of 40 Euros. We ended up paying extra to take the toll road because traffic was so bad, so ended up being 50 Euros total for a 50 minute ride to Istanbul Airport. We would happily stay here again.

Our stay at the Saba Sultan was wonderful. The front desk staffer at check-in, Omardeen I believe his name is, was amazing and very helpful. We had a nice long conversation and he gave us many recommendations and tips for what to do and where to eat nearby, etc. The included breakfast was very nice and since we had a very early departure before breakfast was open, he even arranged to have breakfast sandwiches ready for us at 5- am! Our room was very nice on the 4th. floor and had a balcony with an awesome view of the ocean. There are several places to eat and shop within easy walking distance of the hotel. We also walked to the Grand Bazaar and the Hagia Sofia & Blue Mosque. I would definitely stay there again if I'm ever there again!

The rooms are spacious and clean. Air con in the room is ok but not the best. Breakfast was not the best and we didn’t enjoy it. But they had toast and good coffee so that was ok. This is a budget hotel and even though the chap at the front desk was very helpful we didn’t really see any other staff. Kitchen staff didn’t speak much English and the food sometimes felt it was left out for too long and tasted a bit stale. I personally would not stay here again. But if you are looking for a cheap hotel next to the main attractions, then it’s ok to book.

Struttura ben posizionata a meno di 10 minuti dalla fermata del tram di sultanahmet e 5 minuti dalla fermata del bus havaist 11 che arriva e va per l'aeroporto internazionale instanbul Havalimani. Colazione un po' povera, niente di eccezionale. Tanto localini vicini e vicinissimo a tante moschee e musei. Ragazzi alla reception bravissimi e gentili. Propongono escursioni e altre cose da fare sul posto con ottimi prezzi.
Struttura ben posizionata a meno di 10 minuti dalla fermata del tram di sultanahmet e 5 minuti dalla fermata del bus havaist 11 che arriva e va per l'aeroporto internazionale instanbul Havalimani. The room had too much furniture for the size and we had to move a table and chairs everytime we opened the balcony doors. Tea and coffee were plentiful in our room. Lovely view of the Bosphorus from the balcony. Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. They even made us up a picnic to take to the airport as we had to leave before breakfast. We booked the airport shuttle service from and to the airport through the hotel. This was very unsatisfactory! It was an hour late picking us up from the airport and then dropped us at the wrong hotel. We had to walk from the wrong hotel to our hotel in the dark in a unknown city late at night with our luggage. The taxi was then half an hour late picking us up at hotel to take us back to the airport. I would highly recommend the hotel but would not book their shuttle service again.

Read the reviews and decided I’d book. The room wasn’t the cheapest and I was disappointed with its size. It was very squashed so dread to think what the smaller rooms were like.
