I stayed in room 18. At first glance it seemed very nice. Large, spacious, and the large tub in the corner. After a few days of living in it, some issues arose, a few making it uncomfortable and one near miss. The uncomfortable -no idea how to control the heat. The one thermostat I could see was down as low as possible, yet the room was still hovering in the low 20s. -the bathroom window had no blinds or anything to stop anyone from looking in from the adjacent balcony. I may be lucky that the pool was closed so no one was using it, but very weird. Near miss -there are 3-4 steps up to a platform that has patio door to go out onto the private deck for the room. Therefore there is a bannister on the room side to stop someone from falling off (or jumping from it to the bed) but it is not attached properly to the wall, which I found out as I used it as support to walk down the stairs. Older, limited mobility person could have fallen when it separated from the wall as they were walking. Aside from those points, there are little things that were not as important. No recycling bin, thin floors/walls for adjacent room noise, lack of lighting in the tub area and bathroom, etc. The staff was friendly. It is in a good location. The grounds looked like they were nice. Just a tired feeling from it. Hopefully as they refresh the property rooms, it clears some of the issues I had.

It was a nice property, a little worn. Could use some sprucing up. Could use a walkway to the above ground pool. Pool was clean. Room was clean. Air conditioning worked well and we like our room around 18*C. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Bacon eggs toast bagels fruit and juices

Definitely in need of a handyman. The building in general, needs lots of attention, deck boards unsafe in places. The area is nice and quiet. Breakfast was adequate.

The staff was friendly and the location is ok. The building itself is old and outdated, but it kind of adds to the ambience of the province. The price was great for hotels in the area but the quality of the craftsmanship shows. Sloppy tiling, caulking and paint job is very evident. Don't look up at the ceiling tiles either...I did see roaches outside and there was a centipede looking creature in the shower but again it goes with that country side feeling. The door knobs are loose and the microwave and stove are ancient. It kind of feels more like a motel rather than a hotel. Again though, for the price it's worth looking at if the above issues are that concerning. Parking lot is tight and there really isn't anywhere to wander off to. However you can catch some nice pictures of the sunset here. The place definitely has potential if the owners would spend some money fixing it.

Room we were in had a king bed, a jetted tub, and was the only one with a balcony. The suite was not as big as expected but at least had a microwave and mini fridge. Had a nice setup for continental breakfast in main building above main check-in. The deck and stairs coming from the main building to the pool were closed, the pool was nice and refreshing, unfortunately you had to walk around the building to get to it, no path layed out. The driveway and parking lot were a little rough and could use a new pave job.

It was not as advertised. Ad said a restaurant and laundry facilities, upon arrival was informed they were not available until July 1st. Coffee maker in room had no place to plug it in. No garbage can in room. No curtain/ covering on bathroom window. On checking out a sign on door said closed for the day. No heat in room, which was needed after a day of motorcycling in the rain. Asked for a ground floor but was placed on the second floor. Room was clean but outside needs maintenence.

Loved the service and the room but the decks could use some work and the pool needed a clean and maybe a heater, but we didnt go for the pool so it wasnt that bad.

It had good sized bedrooms that were clean. The bathroom had a rocking toilet and the jetted tub didn't work. It was advertised we'd have a bbq, but they only had one at the other cabin. Back deck had a gate across the stairs preventing use of back area. No frying pan, only large pots. Not much of a playground ... a swing and sandbox. Pool not accessible until July 1st, when we left. They said, as we were signing out that it would be ready by noon. Sign out is 11. Not impressed ... photos on website were from previous owner, we were told.

For the price we paid, they should give the property a good upgrade. The room that we had has a funny smell and the bathtub have lots of dirty foot marks (we found that out when we're a out to take a shower). A bit overpriced for what we saw and experienced. To be fair, staffs are great and.very polite.

The property is very old and outdated! The drop ceiling had signs of water damage and mold. You couldn’t open a window. The bathroom door knob was broken. The staff was excellent and they did clean the rooms. I didn’t sleep under the blankets or use a pillow. I was too scared lol I would never stay there again as I prefer more updated hotels. It was the only place available. They did serve breakfast. It was ok but the stairs leading up to the dining area was filthy and the carpet in the dining area was as well. It was like being in a horror movie waiting for Micheal Meyers to come get you!

We are here for SOMMO and unfortunately our tent decided to leak completely through. This hotel was available and I’m extremely happy with the turn out. It was quick , easy and clean!

When going to use the washroom in our room there was a band sealing the toilet saying it has been sanitized but after removing the band we found poop had been left in the toilet and sealed that way.

This is a great place close to summerside. It is dated, however very clean. We had a room with 3 beds, a kitchenette with stove, fridge, microwave and single coffee pot which was great to cook our breakfast and if we wanted to cook other meals we could. Staff were very friendly. There was a bench outside our room to sit out at night. Would stay again.

Pas mal d'espace, mais il y avait des taches sur les draps, le plancher était sale et il n'y avait pas de micro onde contrairement a ce qui etait dit dans les elements pratiques. De plus, il n'y avait pas de gros espace de rangement pour un sejour de plus d'une nuit a 4 personnes dans la chambres. Dejeuner pratique

The rooms were spacious had a 2 bed room the king bed was comfortable. Not in town out on the highway only a 5 min to towm was quiet. Overall it was good.

The bed is comfortable, a real king bed, the wifi work well and fast, it has a warm little feel with the wooden roof, it has a private patio and the only one in the whole motel, it's great, the lady at the office is very kind and polite, I would definitely go back. I recommend it.

Nice, quiet spot. My biggest complaint is that the doorways in the rooms were very low (likely under 6’, which is dangerous for someone who is 6’5”)

We had a great stay here. Mind you, we literally just dropped our stuff off and didn’t come back til midnight haha. But, our room was huge!! Little kitchenette. Wish we had time to go for a swim! We’d definitely come back with some food in our cooler to cook here next time. Great stay!

You get what you pay for with this motel. It wasn't a bad place to stay, just a bit outdated. The staff was friendly. If you are staying in the main floor there is pretty much no sound barrier with the room above you.
You get what you pay for with this motel. It wasn't a bad place to stay, just a bit outdated. The staff was friendly. If you are staying in the main floor there is pretty much no sound barrier with the room above you.

Would give zero stars if I could. The place was not welcoming, no staff around and it was unclean and unkept. Ended up not staying the night because of this. Didn’t get our money back.

This weekend was our first family vacation with our 2 year old who has autism unfortunately we had to end the trip early as he was having meltdowns as he wasn’t familiar with the area and it was a new place for him. The motel was fantastic and understanding and even refunded us for our extra night that we couldn’t stay. The place was amazing and cute id recommend room 26 if your looking for a bit of privacy. Staff was amazing I cannot speak highly enough about this place. Thank you so much!!

It was a cozy quiet spot- however while the staff were kind- we were left with ZERO room service all weekend, so when I wanted to get more towels and an extra pillow there was no one there. Just a locked door and a note taped to it with no indication of when they would return...and they still weren't there the next day when we wanted to check out. The property could definitely use some fixing up, just minor things... I really did enjoy the jacuzzi tub and the bed was very comfortable. However- because of the lack of room service we will not be returning to this hotel. Unfortunate ... but the Charlottetown location was a much better stay.

I liked the location. Check-in took a little bit longer than usual. Our room was at the 2nd floor so if you have alot of stuff can be a hassle. Room was clean enough, comfy bed, bathroom door won't shut. Anyways, you get what you pay for. So happy in the end.

The staff was friendly and the location is ok. The building itself is old and outdated, but it kind of adds to the ambience of the province. The price was great for hotels in the area but the quality of the craftsmanship shows. Sloppy tiling, caulking and paint job is very evident. Don't look up at the ceiling tiles either...I did see roaches outside and there was a centipede looking creature in the shower but again it goes with that country side feeling. The door knobs are loose and the microwave and stove are ancient. It kind of feels more like a motel rather than a hotel. Again though, for the price it's worth looking at if the above issues are that concerning. Parking lot is tight and there really isn't anywhere to wander off to. However you can catch some nice pictures of the sunset here. The place definitely has potential if the owners would spend some money fixing it.

You must drive to get anywhere else. Summerside is a good central location We stayed in a suite that slept 6. You would expect there to be enough dishes and forks for the group. But no. Clean enough but tired looking. 2 star

The rooms were spacious had a 2 bed room the king bed was comfortable. Not in town out on the highway only a 5 min to towm was quiet. Overall it was good.

The family owned property was very clean & well kept for being an older facility. Very quiet. Recently updated, and economical for all families. Camera footage so secure at all times. Easy access to Summerside & close to PEI bridge.

This property was very convenient for us attending the music festival in Cavendish but away from the crowds at the beach, easy to get into Summerside for some exploring, it's in a very easy to find location. The property itself could definitely using some sprucing up but the room was clean and the lady at the front desk was lovely and polite. Would stay here again.

It was a nice property, a little worn. Could use some sprucing up. Could use a walkway to the above ground pool. Pool was clean. Room was clean. Air conditioning worked well and we like our room around 18*C. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Bacon eggs toast bagels fruit and juices

The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the area was quiet. The hotel was easy to find and it was within driving distance to everything. The only drawback was that one of the reasons I booked at this location was because it said it included breakfast, but when we arrived and asked, they said the dining room was closed for the season so no breakfast.

It was not as advertised. Ad said a restaurant and laundry facilities, upon arrival was informed they were not available until July 1st. Coffee maker in room had no place to plug it in. No garbage can in room. No curtain/ covering on bathroom window. On checking out a sign on door said closed for the day. No heat in room, which was needed after a day of motorcycling in the rain. Asked for a ground floor but was placed on the second floor. Room was clean but outside needs maintenence.

Room was cold. Thermostat did not work. No blankets on the beds. Sinks are low for adult use. Price was not a good or 'best' value compared to others in the area. Breakfast was fine but we were not told about it until at turning in my keys we noticed someone taking some to their room. Beds creak.

Booked two rooms with two beds in each, paid then got to room to find we had one with two beds and one with one bed. Got a cot in each room for kids. No discount or anything. We loved it! Cozy room that overlooked a nice outdoor environment, friendly staff, and it felt like home. We just wish the breakfast was what it used to be! It used to be eggs and the whole nine yards, but this time it was just toast and cereal. No biggie though!

Pet friendly was a big reason we chose this chalet. Traveling with dogs, 3 adults, a 17 yr old and 12 yr old, they all needed their own beds. Each person had their own room which was great. We stayed in the chalet and it had 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen, small deck on front, large one in the back with a table and chairs, plus a balcony up top also. For our needs it suited us perfectly. It was a little outdated, and could have been a bit cleaner, but for being pet friendly I know it is harder to clean because of pets. We were still happy with our stay and would stay there again.

Excellent place! We really enjoyed our stay. Very clean, we could smell the cleaner as soon as we walked through the door. The kitchen had a decent amount of dishes and utensils, including pots and pans. Plenty of space. Staff was great. Will book again next time.

Overall, the room was clean, we slept fine as a family and we had a 3 bedroom with kitchen. It is indeed in need of repairs. The pool was not functioning which was not mentioned on Hotels.com website. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and everything else was as expected
