Mauvaise insonorisation que ce soit intérieur ou extérieur. Un seul ascenseur avec une limitation à 3 personnes ce qui engendre des temps d'attentes longs. Par contre petit déjeuner excellent et copieux malgré l'attente pour avoir une table en cas d'affluence. Personnel très bien et à l'écoute.

The Scott Hotel has a great “Roaring 1920s” vibe from the lobby to elevator to the rooms! Rooms are spacious. Brunch was very good. Front desk staff were awesome and very friendly. The location is great! We walked mostly all over but there are several tram and Metro stations nearby. 30 mins walk to Grand Place. Highly recommend Pizza Fresca (across Place Loix from the hotel), Stella (breakfast only 5 mins walk) and Le Bistro - port du Hall (pub, great food!, 8 mins walk). Hotel bar was a nice perk. We played cards in the lobby and got drinks from the bar which were great. My only complaint was that when the rooms were serviced by housekeeping they didn’t replenish the coffee pods and water bottles in the room. Also ran out of shower gel. Minor but would meant 5 star rating if rhey’d done those little things.

The hotel is lovely and very comfortable. The staff was excellent and very helpful. The breakfast was very good. Our only problem was the only elevator broke and was unusable the morning of our departure. The six flights were steep and circular and very disturbing for two older travelers. The desk man did go up for our luggage but I had to go up as well for additional items. We came to understand why they asked us our preference for floors. I would recommend choosing a lower floor….but would definitely stay here again if in Brussels.

A little bit odd. Nice bed, but a very small room without much room to unpack. The bathroom was unpleasantly cold, the lift was tiny being rated only for 3 people, and quite slow.

The hotel is very well appointed and the breakfast spread is good. However, this is a hotel where most of what you request, will be denied. Services are very poor and definitely not guest oriented. 1) Housekeeping services very poor. They did not do the room on 1 day and the other 2 days, did not replenish amenities. When Front Desk was informed of this, we were told to come and pick up our fresh towels! 2) The Front Desk stout gentleman in the morning shift on 02 & 03 Feb was nasty, rude, and seemed racist. The afternoon shift gent was much better though 3) There was no minibar in the room, which was quite shocking 4) There was no hot water kettle 5) Coffee pods were not replenished. Front Desk told us it was only placed on arrival! Why keep an espresso maker in the room when you do not replenish pods daily? 6) Water also was not replenished on day 2 & 3 7) BF service on 4th morning was cleared with alacrity at 10 am while we were eating. We were not informed even though we were sitting in the bfast dining area. This is a standard and courtesy to be conducted in any hotel around the world. ALL OF THE ABOVE REEKS OF AN ARROGANCE WHICH SPOILED OUR 3 NIGHTS STAY and we would never recommend this hotel to any person.

Lovely stylish and friendly hotel. Everything was spotlessly clean. The location was very nice with several fantastic cafes in the vicinity. The centre was a short metro journey (or uber ride) away.

Very nice and cozy hotel. Liked the 20’s theme. Staff was attentive and great. The breakfast was lovely. Our room was spacious but one thing we noticed right away was the noise coming out of the ac. It was quite loud but we found out that we could just open the window, so that solved the ac problem regarding the air and temp. The reason we ended with a bad taste, we asked them to clean out room before our last night at the hotel because our son managed to smear chocolate and tomato sauce on the bed sheets. When we came back to our surprise, the bed sheets weren’t changed. The cleaner was either lazy or just didn’t give a s*** about it but that person just change the direction on the bed sheets to hide the stains(!). I understand that the policy at the hotel is to change the sheets every 3 nights but come on…! It’s a shame

The colours in the room are dull,the lighting is dull,the beds are too many crowding the room,cleaning is not thourough,at times its only bathroom and bed making without floor cleaning,not tiding tea tables, bed side tables.ongoing construction is not pleasing.Lift is too slow and can take only 3 people. On average i would say the hotel is Just ok but i would not go for it next time in brussels.Too expensive for that standard.reception staffs,exellent at least.

El hotel tiene un buen aspecto general, pero en la habitación la limpieza no fue la esperada, algún que otro pelo en el suelo, las cortinas con manchas o suciedad debajo de la sábana bajera y el protector del colchón. Destacar que el baño tenía suelo calefactable que permanecía encendido durante todo el día, y pese a encender el aire acondicionado antes de dormir, por la noche generaba mucho calor. Por otro lado, la habitación estaba del lado de la calle, y pese a que era luminosa de día, de noche era imposible cerrar las cortinas correctamente, lo cual molestaba, además entraba bastante ruido del exterior, por lo que a primera hora era molesto. Por el precio, creo que puede haber mejores opciones, por lo que no entiendo las buenas reseñas generales. Asimismo, no incluye el desayuno de forma generalizada.

I had a very comfortable 3 night stay at The Scott hotel and would recommend it to anyone visiting Brussels. The hotel was located in a quiet residential area, but only a short walk to transport, shopping and dining options. The room was very spacious and the beds are King (not queen) sized. Things I wish the hotel would provide/improve on are: a mini fridge, keycard requirement for elevator use (greater security), and control over the underfloor heating–the room was always so hot because of this.

Clean room and friendly staff. Bed was comfortable. Decor was pretty. Room at the back overlooked a nice garden area below. Coffee machine was great. Very noisy at night though, the rooms clearly have not been sound-proofed at all (ear plugs are provided, so they must have had many complaints). On a high floor at the back of the hotel, there was minimal street noise, but still the internal hotel noise was problematic. Location ok, felt a bit "middle of nowhere", but only a short walk to public transport. Room was too warm from underfloor heating (or pipes?) with only an overhead air con available, couldn't find a way just to turn off the heat!

Rooms lack fridges but staff let us store stuff in their lobby fridge. The elevator is tiny and holds only 3 people but that's based on an assumption that people weigh ~240 lbs so we mostly disregarded that restriction and it worked fine. There are multiple transit stations and several restaurants within a short walk. There's also an incredible playground nearby.

While it was a hike up the hill from the train station, stepping inside was a stylish step back in time, with its 1930s theme throughout and a lobby and bar that look like film sets. My room, surrounded by velvet curtains and with a curved bedhead, leaned into the theme, however, the 21st century was evident in the tablet through which you managed the services. There was a work desk, espresso machine – with pods restocked by housekeeping through the tablet – TV, free WiFi and open wardrobe with small luggage shelf (my large case was open on the floor). While a fridge would have been most welcome. The bathroom was fine with a shower over the bath, not my fave thing but, when presented with a bathtub, a soak is always welcome after pounding the cobbled streets! I stayed four nights and wanted to extend my stay, however, it was fully booked. It’s tucked away up the hill from the old town but only a short walk to a main street with shops and restaurants.
While it was a hike up the hill from the train station, stepping inside was a stylish step back in time, with its 1930s theme throughout and a lobby and bar that look like film sets. My room, surrounded by velvet curtains and with a curved bedhead, leaned into the theme, however, the 21st century was evident in the tablet through which you managed the services. There was a work desk, espresso machine – with pods restocked by housekeeping through the tablet – TV, free WiFi and open wardrobe with small luggage shelf (my large case was open on the floor). While a fridge would have been most welcome. The bathroom was fine with a shower over the bath, not my fave thing but, when presented with a bathtub, a soak is always welcome after pounding the cobbled streets! I stayed four nights and wanted to extend my stay, however, it was fully booked. It’s tucked away up the hill from the old town but only a short walk to a main street with shops and restaurants.

The hotel is very well appointed and the breakfast spread is good. However, this is a hotel where most of what you request, will be denied. Services are very poor and definitely not guest oriented. 1) Housekeeping services very poor. They did not do the room on 1 day and the other 2 days, did not replenish amenities. When Front Desk was informed of this, we were told to come and pick up our fresh towels! 2) The Front Desk stout gentleman in the morning shift on 02 & 03 Feb was nasty, rude, and seemed racist. The afternoon shift gent was much better though 3) There was no minibar in the room, which was quite shocking 4) There was no hot water kettle 5) Coffee pods were not replenished. Front Desk told us it was only placed on arrival! Why keep an espresso maker in the room when you do not replenish pods daily? 6) Water also was not replenished on day 2 & 3 7) BF service on 4th morning was cleared with alacrity at 10 am while we were eating. The staff here were so accommodating to us. We ended up having to stay a week here and after booking 2 days, they did everything they could to get us a great room even when they were nearly sold out. They were ready with dining recommendations, ice when we needed it and advice on local things to check out. Will definitely recommend to anyone coming to BXL and will only stay here when in town.

Unfortunate Issue over a child’s breakfast - one staff member was extremely rude clearing away breakfast items before we had a chance to eat anything. Spraying the sides down and clearing all food away before guests had finished. He said ‘eat it or don’t eat it - I don’t care’ Not what you expect from a reputable hotel or people working in hospitality. This was a real shame and left bad taste. As we left we were charged €94 Euro despite only owing €10 - so not sure there was a systematic process in place. Good location. Would stay else where on return to Brussels though.

Quiet residential location with walkable easy access to metro and only a few stops away from Brussels Midi/ Eurostar. Hosts were friendly. Comfy bed with spacious room and clean bathroom but the elevator is very slow and takes forever to wait for it.

A lovely boutique hotel. The room was very clean as was the bathroom. Staffing was limited. They were polite but missing the usual hospitality we observe in hotels. The area around the hotel is residential and slightly isolated. It is a 25 minute walk to Grand Place and to Brussels Midi station.

Lovely stay at hotel with the most perfect location. Close to both Ixelles and Saint-Gilles which are two stunning parts of Brussels. So many nice bars and restaurants close. Hotel was super clean and nice staff. Will book the same the next time I am back in Brussels.

Family trip. Three rooms. Two was fine, the last one had a very noisy AC and a radiator that would randomly make loud noises + have water flow through even when shut off completely. Neighborhood was fine, with several great cafés and coffee spots in walking distance.

I visited Brussels with my family and friends and the hotel was a great location. We had a late arrival so it was not as busy. I felt safe overall in the area. The receptionist was kind and helpful. The hotel has a sheek and vintage vibe. I didn't opt in for the breakfast so I can't say if it was good or not. They have an elevator however it has a low capacity so there is a wait to use it. The room was a great fit for my family - beds are comfy, nice view, deep and narrow tub. Towards the end of the stay, my room door had a malfunction and was told that it happens when the door is shut hard so be mindful when you shut the door. The receptionist wasn't as welcoming at check out but it could have been a day off for them. Great hotel, safe community, good price.
