This is a wonderful place, right in the middle of Old Town, but on a quiet side street. The owner and staff were amazing: friendly, helpful, efficient. They arranged transportation into Old Town and back to the airport. Facilities and breakfast were perfect—they asked us what we liked and provided it!

We absolutely loved staying at the Zacosta! The manager George arranged our pick up from the airport and owner John met us at the gate of the old city to take us and our luggage to the hotel in his golf cart. John oriented us to the old town, the sights, and restaurants. We were delighted by the level of service throughout our stay. We were very comfortable in our cozy “cave” room and loved breakfast each morning on the patio with other guests. There are only 6 rooms, so count yourself lucky if you have the chance to stay here!

George and Jon were wonderful hosts. Jon assisted me in coordinating a transfer from the airport to the hotel and back. The property is beautiful, and they provide breakfast every morning. It is situated within the old town, inside the castle, and is within walking distance of the main attractions. I highly recommend it, and we can't wait to return.

2 night stay at this amazing hotel before we headed down to Lindos. Before we arrived we had lots of communication with George, and he arranged to meet us to assist with our luggage. Check in was the best experience, complimentary drink and lots of help and tips about the area. Clean room and fresh towels daily. The location was perfect for exploring the Old Town. Minutes walk from everything but in a quiet little street. Breakfast served in their lovely little courtyard and there was plenty to set you up for the day. When visiting again, we would definitely stay at this hotel. Especially for the location and hospitality. Thank you George.

My wife and I stayed at the Zacosta Villa Hotel for 4 nights with our 4 year old son during the first week of April, when Rhodes was just reopening after winter. The owner John arranged our transfer from the airport and was on hand to collect us from our taxi stop on his electric golf cart for the short onward trip through the pedestrianised medieval city to the hotel. John and his colleague George were extremely welcoming and in the days that followed we were very well looked after by both of them. George in particular as the “morning guy” was our main point of contact. He oversaw a lovely continental breakfast and was available to provide any tips and help us with planning our stay. He very helpfully provided his personal number so we could ask his help via WhatsApp, and generously researched for us the options for a day trip to Lindos, facilitated a late check out on our day of departure (we were presumably lucky that there was no one arriving to take our room later that day), and booked a transfer back to the airport (with a further ride from John on his cart). The staff are amazingly attentive and helpful plus offer the services of their golf cart for pick up and drop off at the bus or taxi stand when departing as the old city alleys are too narrow for cars. The room was clean, well maintained and packed with character as you’d expect in such an old historic building and the addition of a coffee machine was welcome along with complimentary water. Breakfast was continental with plenty of coffee and fresh orange juice on request. I found there was a lack of consistent hot water for the shower in the morning but my partner took them in the evening and it was fine. Loved the breakfast and the only thing I’d add would maybe the choice of omelette or scrambled eggs. I can highly recommend a stay here

The most attentive, efficient, helpful, friendly and professional host (George and John) we were lucky to have during our stay. The property/room itself is tastefully decorated. We had lovely breakfasts, useful info/suggestion for transport/excursion, amazing help for solving issues and fun rides with the with the golf buggy pick-up/drop-off. A quiet luxury in the old town indeed :)

John the host is excellent. He made pick up and drop off so easy, especially with a 6am flight and a 4am pick up! The hotel is superbly restored and the old town is a very special place to stay

Clean and very quiet, which is a big plus in a busy touristy place like Rhodes. Comfortable bed and a tiny patio. Very friendly and helpful owner and especially his assistant Niko. They drive you in a golf cart from/to the edge of the old town, where there is no taxi service, so you don’t have to trudge uphill with your luggage. The hotel is a few minute walk from all major attractions.

It was a pleasure to stay in Zacosta Villa Hotel. Nikos picked us from the port and John left us back with a golf cart. The location is great, the hospitality was exceptional. Rooms were cleaned every day. We will stay there if we visit Rhodes again.

The hotel’s location is very nice, just in the old town…Rooms are very clean and comfortable. The courtyard where they serve breakfast is cute. The best part is the hotel team. Great small mom&papa place. Safe and quiet. We visited out of season so the entire area was pretty quiet. By 9 or 10 pm everything is closed so nightlife here is non-existent during April. Hotel is clean and in the center of the Old Town and the saff is super friendly and helpful.

Zacosta Hotel, located inside the old town, is within walking distance to everywhere. It offers an excellent experience with its cleanliness and quality of service. George and John will help you with anything you need. We had a great time during this holiday with our family and we are very happy.

One of the best stays we ever had, right inside the Rhodes Medeival Town. No vehicles can reach, we are transported in a buggy, and thereafter, we can walk around the old town. George was very courteous, helpful and ever smiling, made our stay very memorable. Room was fairly big, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. There's no restaurant inside, but there are many nearby, just 2-3 minutes by walk. Overall, one of the best experiences.

Clean and very quiet, which is a big plus in a busy touristy place like Rhodes. Comfortable bed and a tiny patio. Very friendly and helpful owner and especially his assistant Niko. They drive you in a golf cart from/to the edge of the old town, where there is no taxi service, so you don’t have to trudge uphill with your luggage. The hotel is a few minute walk from all major attractions.

Room was spacious. Bathroom was very nice. Location was perfect for visiting the old town and entire area. Nickos was very pleasant and accommodating. The electric cart worked fine on our arrival. Breakfast was very nice out in the courtyard.

We absolutely loved staying at the Zacosta! The manager George arranged our pick up from the airport and owner John met us at the gate of the old city to take us and our luggage to the hotel in his golf cart. John oriented us to the old town, the sights, and restaurants. We were delighted by the level of service throughout our stay. We were very comfortable in our cozy “cave” room and loved breakfast each morning on the patio with other guests. There are only 6 rooms, so count yourself lucky if you have the chance to stay here!

A wonderful find in the heart of the Old Town. We stayed only one night before transferring to Symi, but nothing was too much trouble for George and his lovely team. He even dropped us to the port for our ferry which was very much appreciated. Highly recommended.

My wife and I stayed at the Zacosta Villa Hotel for 4 nights with our 4 year old son during the first week of April, when Rhodes was just reopening after winter. The owner John arranged our transfer from the airport and was on hand to collect us from our taxi stop on his electric golf cart for the short onward trip through the pedestrianised medieval city to the hotel. John and his colleague George were extremely welcoming and in the days that followed we were very well looked after by both of them. George in particular as the “morning guy” was our main point of contact. He oversaw a lovely continental breakfast and was available to provide any tips and help us with planning our stay. He very helpfully provided his personal number so we could ask his help via WhatsApp, and generously researched for us the options for a day trip to Lindos, facilitated a late check out on our day of departure (we were presumably lucky that there was no one arriving to take our room later that day), and booked a transfer back to the airport (with a further ride from John on his cart). George and Jon were wonderful hosts. Jon assisted me in coordinating a transfer from the airport to the hotel and back. The property is beautiful, and they provide breakfast every morning. It is situated within the old town, inside the castle, and is within walking distance of the main attractions. I highly recommend it, and we can't wait to return.

2 night stay at this amazing hotel before we headed down to Lindos. Before we arrived we had lots of communication with George, and he arranged to meet us to assist with our luggage. Check in was the best experience, complimentary drink and lots of help and tips about the area. Clean room and fresh towels daily. The location was perfect for exploring the Old Town. Minutes walk from everything but in a quiet little street. Breakfast served in their lovely little courtyard and there was plenty to set you up for the day. When visiting again, we would definitely stay at this hotel. Especially for the location and hospitality. Thank you George.

We had a wonderful stay at Zacosta, the managers were very kind, organized and helped arrange luggage transport from the port and a taxi to the airport. The hotel itself is beautiful and unique. We wanted to stay within the old town walls of Rhodes and the hotel was an excellent place to locate ourselves. The staff are amazingly attentive and helpful plus offer the services of their golf cart for pick up and drop off at the bus or taxi stand when departing as the old city alleys are too narrow for cars. The room was clean, well maintained and packed with character as you’d expect in such an old historic building and the addition of a coffee machine was welcome along with complimentary water. Breakfast was continental with plenty of coffee and fresh orange juice on request. I found there was a lack of consistent hot water for the shower in the morning but my partner took them in the evening and it was fine. Loved the breakfast and the only thing I’d add would maybe the choice of omelette or scrambled eggs. I can highly recommend a stay here

We were very pleased with our stay and the entire staff was amazing as was the communication, making very easy to find our way there! That alone is worth 5 stars!. However, I was surprised that the breakfast was not a "Full Breakfast" as stated in the property description....It was truly a continental breakfast. Boiled eggs, no eggs cooked to order or anything hot...not evrn a toaster with bread....Maybe this has changed recently because many of the reviews (which caused me to book) raved about the incredible breakfast.....and I think its important for other potential guests to know the reality. Other than that, excellent stay!

The room is absolutely gorgeous, such character, absolutely lovely. The hotel is beautifully placed in the old town, just off the main shopping road, but far away enough to be lovely and quiet. Stayed for 10-nights to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, and what a wonderful time we had. I cannot say enough about the staff, George, what a lovely, kind and helpful host. Would also shout out to the waitress whose name I never quite got, but her and George made it a very special. On our anniversary day they surprised us with a display of towels in the form of a heart and two swans, and a bottle of sparkling wine. Such a wonderful touch and heartwarmingly felt. Then on our last day surprised us with another towel display in the form of a heart and a bottle of red wine. They absolutely made our holiday and we would both like to thank them from the bottom of our heart.
The room is absolutely gorgeous, such character, absolutely lovely. The hotel is beautifully placed in the old town, just off the main shopping road, but far away enough to be lovely and quiet. Our stay at the Zacosta was one of the highlights of our trip to Greece. The staff is beyond helpful and friendly. George, especially, went out of his way to be sure we had everything we needed. The daily breakfast in the courtyard was peaceful and very delicious. We highly recommend the suite with the small courtyard for a quiet escape from the business of Old Town. We also enjoyed the convenience to the new town and the port from the hotel as well! Please don’t hesitate to book here for a wonderful experience.
