We were very pleased with our stay at this hotel. We booked through hotels.com and the pictures and amenities were accurate. Breakfast was great. Waffles, sausage, Biscuits, etc. Also it was very close to a mall that is surrounded by excellent restaurants, Sams club and Walmart! If I go back to Columbia, definitely staying here again.

When we arrived we were tired from 13 hrs on the road. The internet was down for the front desk so the poor desk clerk Sean was answering phones trying to get the system logged in and dealing with several guests trying to check In. After about a 25 min wait Sean got us checked in and apologized. We went to the rm #303 and found the fold out couch bed still with sheets and blankets with poop on them. We informed the clerk Sean a n who again apologized and came up with gloves and a bag and got it cleaned up. While I will say it was a big spacious room and ckean bathroom the lamps didn't work and had obvious stains in the shades, some plugs didn't work and the bathroom had very little water pressure or hot water. The floor smelled heavily of matijuana smoke all night and there were unsupervised kids running the halls screaming. Also the pool was indoor and open but unheated and jacuzzi was closed. Breakfast was basic. Of it weren't for good staff like Sean it would be in trouble

The room had a horrible smell and was not well kept. The carpet had stains on the floor, there were stains on the walls, the desk chair was ripped and busted open, the air conditioning vents were broken, we did not have enough wash cloths and towels and the bed linen had holes in them. When I went down to ask for wash cloths and towels I was told they didn’t have anymore.

We believe this hotel has bed bugs - please inspect your room carefully before staying there. What is worse is that when we reported it (discovered on our last night), the staff was unconcerned. The manager claimed she would investigate and call me but she did not. When I called after not hearing from her, I was told she was out and no one from management will be in for days. The room was dirty upon arrival: there was a nail clipping left on the nightstand, hairs in the bathroom, the carpet was stained and sticky and the sheets were absolutely disgustingly stained. Further, the telephone in the room is not working, which we discovered when we tried to call the front desk to let them know the hair dryer was broken and request a new one.

This was my second stay at this hotel. Both rooms I was in had broken furniture - missing door fronts or major damage. The fridge was not keeping items cold. And housekeeping only comes every third day.
