Convenient easy access to gymn pool and sauna is this property’s biggest attraction, as they are included in the room fees. Rooms are clean. However some things need upgrading, for example non slip bath mats are old and should be replaced as they are still a hazard. Guests should be offered in/ room herbal varieties alongside coffee and tea in the rooms. Staff are in the main approachable and the grounds are well kept,

Gym, swim and sauna access are always a plus to stay here.

It is conveniently located for out-of-town access and the free, relatively simple parking is a definite positive. Personally I was disappointed to find that the pool and health-suite pictured are not actually part of the hotel but are the adjacent Nuffield Health facilities, and close at 6pm at weekends. This is on the desk top website, but I had not seen anything about this on the mobile site when booking so just be aware if, like me, you're specifically booking for a pool etc. I'd have booked elsewhere had realised this - perhaps it could be made clearer? The sleeping areas are set back from the main entrance building and all signage is pretty poor. I was not informed of a lift, despite being given a room on the first floor so had to carry my case quite some distance and up and down stairs - it turns out there is a lift on at least one part of the building but not signed at all. The room itself was small but as expected and adequate for my needs but alas very noisy and I was kept awake and woken again but the very loud doors banging and people coming in to their rooms between 11pm and 3:30am. The hotel is not to blame for inconsiderate guests but the door closures could be adjusted so that they don't slam! At 3:30am I was woken with a start by a bang so loud I thought it was my own room door! There was also something outside banging, but as it was a windy night I assumed that they had just not secured something and not realised. Would not book a weekend stay again.

Great food, good room and good pool to swim in

Nice hotel, free parking, plenty of food choices, free pool and spa. Room quite small but ok for one night.

This is not a proper hotel, but an ex BT training centre which is huge and has a labyrinth of corridors to basic, small rooms. My room was miles from reception! Think more basic than Premier Inn. Food is average in a canteen. No other places to eat nearby, Best part is the Nuffield leisure centre opposite which has a great pool, steam and sauna. Remember to take a towel from your room though, as none provided and it’s a huge walk back! Plenty of free parking.

No clear signage to direct you to where main reception is, car park is a maze. Receptionist told us directions to the furthest part of the hotel, bear in mind I’m physically disabled, at no point did she explain we could have driven round or where the lifts are. Speaking of lifts they are only on 2 sides of the building, which goes in a circle, every time we came out of our room we had to go through 5 doors just to get to the lift, none of which opened automatically or stayed open to allow access.

We had a nice room and there was a swimming pool accessible in another building that we could use (bit tatty but fine). When we arrived there was supposed to be a buffet being served and it was advertised as such. However, as there were few guests there we had to order what we wanted so we went out to eat. A fine location, plenty of parking, nice walk immediately from the building. I would stay again.

Lovely clean hotel. Great breakfast! So many options. Very helpful and polite staff. Only downside is a very large resort with no elevators so if you have a lot of luggage/baby equipment maybe request ground floor

Food was great, staff were very pleasant & couldn't do enough to help. Swimming pool, steam room and sauna were good.

Stayed here whilst at F1 it’s just within our limit for travel after a day at the track and to get there in the mornings. Really helpful courteous staff - one guy - Adi was really happy to assist when we ate there one evening and again the next morning at breakfast.

Clean room, good breakfast

The bed sheets were not clean - they had marks all over them. The bath was dirty also.

there was poo marks on my toilet and hair all over the sink when i got in my room, bed was also very uncomfy and it smelled terrible in the room

I have stayed at Kents Hill several times. It offers good clean comfortable accommodation at very reasonable prices. On this occasion I noticed that the tv in the room had been updated which was a very nice touch and tbh a huge improvement. On site parking is plentiful. Everything that you need for a weekend stay in Milton Keynes. Highly recommended.

While very convenient conference facilities and located across the road from The Open University, the accommodation is tired and in need of maintenance/refresh. I used to stay regularly so I tried it again after a 2 year absence , but it was not a pleasant stay... TV didn't work, bathroom sink not clean, tea/coffee old and didn't look clean, and mattress too soft/old, carpet worn out/dirty.. I'll not return until I hear and see that seems update/maintenance has been done...

Room was small but modern and very clean. Very reasonable price and an excellent breakfast. The surroundings are very pleasant. The corridors are quite long as it is a large facility.

The staff were mainly ok ( the nicest were in the restaurant) but the room was terrible for asthmatics ! There was something in the room that triggered off my asthma . I had to change rooms and yet still bad . I know it was the room as when I was out of it , I was ok. Another disgusting thing was that the cleaners actually picked off dirty towels and hung them up again . I know this as there were marks on the towel !

Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were basic, but clean. Large bathroom with bath and good shower. Room was cleaned well each morning. Some drawers had dust and hair when we arrived. Plenty of options for breakfast. Carpet in hallway near room had strong smell of damp. Would have been nice if the health centre stayed open longer than 8pm on Saturday.

Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely. Not very sound proof rooms, could hear people coming back to their rooms later, but was not a big issue. Would stay again if visiting Milton Keynes.

Rooms too small and dated, room key system dated and noisy. No air conditioning in any rooms, and window hardly opened, it was very stuffy. And no air conditioning throughout any building including dining room. Rooms too far and dark with lack of lifts available. Staff not helpful, did not guide us to our room. Breakfast lack of working areas, ie tea and coffee machines, too long queues and food choices not great. Ran out of food and told will take 15 minutes before food was available again.

Spotless room that had everything I needed and the free parking is great. Staff members were very helpful. Only downside - paper thin walls so you can hear everything.

A clean, but not very peaceful stay. The walls are super thin. You could hear everything from people turning their light switches on, flushing their toilets, running their taps. Gaps around the room door meant light was coming in from the hallway. The shower constantly ran hot and cold. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Basic but clean. Breakfast was very good. No air-con and window only opened a little. Only overhead shower in bath so impossible to shower without wetting hair. (No shower caps)

Price very reasonable. Staff friendly and helpful. Walls of rooms a bit thin, as you can hear next door in the loo and shower, plus people walking past your room. Breakfast included and very good. Free parking. Would we stay again, yes :)

Pool was closed wi fi sketchy Breakfast was warm at best

The check in was incredibly slow. The bathroom was dirty. The tuck shop at reception was missing half the items on the menu. The breakfast in the morning was slow and when they ran out of hash browns and I asked if there would be more, the server just shrugged at me.

Manager is arrogant and rude - demands extra payment or can’t check in. Worst experience ever. Manager should be fired !!!

Had a great stay, well looked after by staff after requesting an early check-in and even came to the café bar lounge to do check in personally as soon as the room was available. Lovely and comfy room and bed, had a great night’s sleep followed by a wonderful breakfast next day too. Thank you to all the staff, especially reception.

Initial room was unsuitable for our needs, as booked, but thanks to Natalia whose professional outlook actually found a suitable room, our stay was enjoyable although breakfast prices were beyond our budget so we ate offsite . The only thing was was missing in our room was an information booklet regarding site facilities, menus, local amenities etc. and more importantly tv instructions.

Not a great start, they had lost my booking so after five hours of driving I had to wait around in reception but the person on reception was wonderful, I slept very well, nice hot shower in the morning, but very persistent chamber maids, them were constantly knocking on the door

Great location, they didn’t have my booking and took ages to track it down eventually blaming Hotels.com for not sending it across.

Very acceptable hotel as part of the OU Campus, food was good and good value. Needs better signposting for rooms etc.

Accessible to The National Bowl

Nice and clean, friendly staff, everything that I would expect from a stay and would recommend. It is located in the middle of nowhere and you will require a car.

Room excellent however you turn up it doesnt say hotel or rooms this way it looks like an office block. Then parking out front only 30 mins reception does not say there are 300 spaces but you cant park there or check to make sure your not parked in 30 area just incase. what made up for it is was the superior room excellent the grounds are lovely the usual milton keynes lots of trees i will definately stay again now i know its a hotel how the parking works and really nice spacious room

Great quiet area not too far from a Retail park. Not too far for Silverstone Circuit and motorway. Great breakfast friendly staff. Clean room very quiet.

Convenient for festival at the nationl Bowl

I stayed one night after a concert in the area. It was perfect for my requirements. Close to the M1, plenty of parking which was included in the price. I slept well, the shower was powerful, breakfast was fine.

The hotel was clearly geared up as a conference centre and is not a cosy hotel or anything like that with nothing nearby as it’s on a business park. The pool / health club is actually good and worth a try as clean and well equipped. Breakfast was pretty poor - hash browns that were soggy, machine coffee that was foul and eggs that may have been runny 30 minutes before being placed on hot plates and turning to rubber

The bed was clean and cosy. The breakfast buffet was spectacular - so much choice! And beautifully presented. The staff were attentive and polite. I used the health centre, and this was clean,calm and relaxing. The room was a little worn at the edges -the carpet could probably do with a deep clean (I did yoga on it so got an unusually close look) and there was the faintest mould scent in the bathroom,yet you could tell housekeeping put in a lot of effort to make it look as clean as possible. The only disappointing thing was the coffee at breakfast- it was a machine, and I think it was instant rather than beans. However,great room for the price and convenience, and I would definitely stay again.

Quite odd hotel. Felt we were sleeping over in an office building. The room was missing normal hotel features such as bedside lamps and usb plugs. The bedsheet did not cover the mattress fully and there was a gap under the door so when the hallway lights were turned on at 6am the light shone through into the room. Also the room was close to their laundry room containing three industrial washing mashines. These machines was turned on at 6 as well and was incredibly noisy. The hot breakfast was cold.

Overall it was a good stay. The breakfast was too cold and they ran out scrambled eggs very early in my opinion

The bedroom lights were poor. A choice between 2 very bright lights (impossible to have just one on) or one very dim light. A bedside lamp would solve the problem. In the restaurant some cooked food items were cool.

Plenty of parking nice quiet location for a good nights sleep. Food at breakfast very poor quality, if i stay here again i would not book bed and breakfast.

This is a good value place to stay a couple of nights. Nice and clean everywhere. The communal lounge areas and dining room were decent. Breakfast was good and dinner at £22 was also good. Plenty of free parking.

The wifi was non existant, tried to blame my laptop. Food was advertised as room service, they didnt do any! I wanted to eat and work, however went to restaurant food was only burgers no choice, went unto MK central and found something to eat. Didnt bother with breakfast after that. Never going to stay there again.

Entrance windows were dirty reception areas was outdated.Staffs were polite.Getting to the rooms were challenging could not find a lift to go to the first floor where the room was so we had to take the stairs upon arriving in the room was a bit disappointed because the window sill need cleaning ,carpet needed cleaning and was a bit outdated above the shower needed cleaning, all of the linens were clean sleeping on the bed were very comfortable.Had breakfast on site everyone had to queue it was very long queue people who were doing the self-serve could be deployed elsewhere was just very disorganised. Didn’t understand what you wanted and the breakfast was just very very disappointed so when speak to the manager he was not understanding .They needed to deployed their staffs . Tables were dirty fruits ,tea and coffee machine needed to be restocked so would not recommend breakfast. The spa and gym facility was very clean. It was amazing. The staff were friendly and I would definitely recommend
