Metropole Katoomba

Love the historical vibe of this hotel--especially the stained glass, and community game room, library, and relaxation spaces. Room 18 is not updated like rooms in photo (which is fine), but be aware that this corner room gets quite warm from mid-morning onwards. (Was here during the fall.) The room A/C and ceiling fan couldn't quite keep up, so we opened windows and propped open the door to get some cooler airflow. Nice location for access to town and public transport.

Chambre 33 toute petite et avec une mauvaise isolation thermique et phonique (trains juste à côté) Bon accueil et personnel professionnel. Hôtel de charme des années 1930 avec un ascenseur quasiment d'époque. Très bien situé pour visiter les différents spots des Blue mountains. Parking Restaurants à proximité Excellent petit déjeuner

The highlight was the lovely manager/host who was so welcoming, personal and kind. Hotel had lots to offer and bar was reasonable prices. Room was clean and bed very comfortable. I did need ear plugs for the trains which are common for katoomba

Nice room and bathroom with Comfy bed(s). Friendly and courteous staff. Hotel ideal for rail travellers. On another note we prepaid breakfast with our booking; this was a mistake as much cheaper to buy on the day. Also plenty of choice for breakfast in ithe town. All in all good value.

Super Lage und schönes uriges Hotel. Das Zimmer war klein, hatte aber alles was Mann braucht.
