Small hotel in a remote location. Hire car is a must. Paid for all inclusive, food was ok but reptitive. We ended up buying water and coke in town and going out for meals as unfortunately the water is very salty and can be tasted in all drinks, even coke and lemonade which were completely flat and made drinks including alcohol undrinkable. The coffee machine wasn’t bad so ended up asking for a cup of ice and then pouring latte into to make iced lattes all holiday. Staff were very friendly and helpful, however, multiple cups and cutlery were not cleaned properly and the bed sheets were stained on arrival.

This property is at the end of a road along the sea. The location is really nice, so is the resort. Among the good things, there is a perfect functioning air conditioning system and the warmth and politeness of the people working there. Things to improve: the spotty WIFI.

Overall we had a nice stay but the WiFi hardly worked when we were there and ended up using a lot of our data. The rooms and communal areas were clean. The staff were brilliant, very friendly and welcoming. There was also a traditional Greek dancing show on the Thursday which was fun to watch.

This is not a 4 star hotel. More like a 2 star hotel. There is a construction site next door that starts work at 8am. My air conditioner did not work on my first night, but they did fix that straight away. My shower only had luke warm water, no hot. And it splashed all over the bathroom floor. Very slippery and unsafe. By the third day, I was very bored of the repetitive buffet. Though it was 'all inclusive', that did not include bottled water, which I had to buy because the tap water tastes awful. The water feeding the drinks fountain and coffee machine was the tap water and so tea and coffee were out too. So if you wanted booze and sugary drinks exclusively, you would be better off. The beach in front of the hotel is rocky - most probably because of the building works - and shallow, so makes it difficult to swim in the sea. The staff were very friendly though and the front desk were able to order taxis at good rates. Which was necessary as the busses were very unreliable. I waited over an hour and a half on 2 different days to try to get to Heraklion and eventually took a taxi on my last day.
