I love the Sleeping Lady. Too bad Kingfisher restaurant was closed. I loved that restaurant and they needed to close because of covid concerns. Also, the Hot tube was closed. But I still enjoyed this wonderful place.

This was our second visit and the only place we want to stay. We love this resort for its beautiful setting, the natural surroundings, the pool area, the robes and peaceful atmosphere. We were there on a warm night and the AC unit couldn’t keep up so adding a fan to move the air around would be helpful. We ordered pizza at the grotto along with a dozen other guests and waited a very long time. Turns out the pizza is made off site and delivered and the place where it was made waited to group all of the orders together so they only needed to drive out once. Some pizzas were cold. If you are going to offer pizza, please find a way to cook it on site. All said, we will be back again and again!

This property is sooo beautiful. When it snows, it looks like a complete winter wonderland - it is so serene and peaceful. The cabins are spacious with great heating. the loft style room was perfect for us 5 on a girls trip. The lobby cats (Ruben and Marsha) completely stole my heart. There is also a hot tub on property along with a games room and a library. You can also borrow games from the front desk to bring back to your cabin.

This resort is such a beautiful property, we loved the history and the attention to conservation of the land, the native Americans and the Civilian Conservation Corps. It's very comfortable, views are incredible and so relaxing. I recommend a visit to the spa and massage. We're excited to come back.

We really enjoyed the remote resort feel to this property. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. We also spent some time in the play barn in the evening to pass some time after sunset. Staff were friendly and courteous. We stayed in a loft, preview pictures showed two beds were bunked but wasn't case in our room. Space was a bit tight but weren't there to stay in room. Would definitely consider this property again in future if we wanted to be away from the Main Street.

Property was beautiful, arrived late after check-in and it was very dark outside, staff did not offer to help us find our cabin, walked around for 30 minutes unable to locate our room in the dark and went back in to ask for assistance then was given a hard by night staff for asking for help. Room was cute and cozy but floors were dirty and bath tub was dirty, hot water was barely working. We were also told that breakfast was complimentary but after my teenagers they were asked to pay $25 per person. Property is gorgeous but I would not stay here again because of the service I received from The staff.

Great trip for Oktoberfest. The cabin was so cute but very tiny with all the beds. The amenities were great. I do love soap dispensers as long as they are kept clean. Our cabin had some dirty used soap on them. It was kind of off putting. The nespresso, tea kettle and fluffy robes were wonderful. The beds were not very comfortable. Both my husband and I woke up sore but the comforter was very soft and inviting. Its too far out of town to walk but shuttles were provided which was wonderful! Id stay here again, overall a great place and beautiful grounds. Safe, clean and in the outdoors.

Our room was clean, comfortable and tastefully furnished. It’s a lovely setting for a couple’s getaway or a family vacation. I’ve done both. My first stay at Sleeping Lady years ago was late summer. It was equally enjoyable this time in the middle of winter. It’s a stunning setting and the staff is top notch.

We loved the focus of the room and how it made you focus inwardly rather than looking at a TV or something like that since there were no TVs in the rooms and it was all about the view and the atmosphere of the place.

Excellent overall, just a few annoyances: - A bit far from downtown Leavenworth. - No TV (not entirely bad after all). - Stairs to the upper bedroom are very steep, you have to climb down backwards.

Great rooms tucked away in a quiet corner of Leavenworth. Close enough to town but far enough away yo avoid the throngs of people during peak tourist season. Room was cozy and well-priced. Staff was very friendly!

Great property for a relaxing weekend. Very quiet and spread out in a nature setting. There is a bar with indoor and outdoor patio seating. Also a restaurant- limited menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Note- no TV in rooms. The property is to disconnect from media. Poor WiFi. Staff was just ok. Did not tell us how to get to room and we got lost. Also, there is a shortage of carts to move your bags on… some of the rooms are very far from the parking lot and you must get your sun bags there.

Cozy cabins but loft stairs are too steep for small children. If you have small children, don’t choose the cabin with a loft. Customer service was great; friendly staff. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

The cabins are spacious with great heating. the loft style room was perfect for us 5 on a girls trip. The lobby cats (Ruben and Marsha) completely stole my heart. There is also a hot tub on property along with a games room and a library. You can also borrow games from the front desk to bring back to your cabin.

The reason to stay here is the setting. The resort is situated in a sheltered valley with towering tree covered hills all around. It snowed when we stayed and that, in addition to the fact it was just prior to Christmas, made it feel magical. It’s also several miles away from Leavenworth so feels isolated in a good way. If you’re looking for a budget friendly winter getaway that feels luxurious, this is the place for you. My only issue was with the room itself. There was no TV and only one chair so it was difficult to find places for all of our stuff. If you have kids, bring stuff for them to do in the downtime, but this was a minor complaint- there’s so much to do (hiking, activities, dining, etc). We’ll definitely be back

Great trip for Oktoberfest. The cabin was so cute but very tiny with all the beds. The amenities were great. I do love soap dispensers as long as they are kept clean. Our cabin had some dirty used soap on them. It was kind of off putting. The nespresso, tea kettle and fluffy robes were wonderful. The beds were not very comfortable. Both my husband and I woke up sore but the comforter was very soft and inviting. Its too far out of town to walk but shuttles were provided which was wonderful! Id stay here again, overall a great place and beautiful grounds. Safe, clean and in the outdoors.

Spur of the moment trip, they had a wonderful room available, last minute for us. Friendly, accommodating staff, they even had complimentary toothbrushes for us as we didn't plan for an overnight trip.

Great property for a relaxing weekend. Very quiet and spread out in a nature setting. There is a bar with indoor and outdoor patio seating. Also a restaurant- limited menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Note- no TV in rooms. The property is to disconnect from media. Poor WiFi. Staff was just ok. Did not tell us how to get to room and we got lost. Also, there is a shortage of carts to move your bags on… some of the rooms are very far from the parking lot and you must get your sun bags there.

You have to walk though mud and mud puddles to get to your room at night you can't see well so you end up walking right though a puddle. The staff is completely incompetent . It started out the staff aimed me in completely the wrong direction to get to my room we ended up walking though the muddy parking lot with a broken down cart .Later we went to the restaurant there was hardly anyone there. We had to wait while the hostess went outside and talked to a guy with a dog for a while. She finally came back she seated us and just left. I had to find her to order a drink. When she delivered the drink it had no alcohol in the drink. At that point we just left. The next day I went cross country skiing in the morning and came back to the room and had to take a cold shower because there was no hot water.

Property was beautiful, arrived late after check-in and it was very dark outside, staff did not offer to help us find our cabin, walked around for 30 minutes unable to locate our room in the dark and went back in to ask for assistance then was given a hard by night staff for asking for help. Room was cute and cozy but floors were dirty and bath tub was dirty, hot water was barely working. We were also told that breakfast was complimentary but after my teenagers they were asked to pay $25 per person. Property is gorgeous but I would not stay here again because of the service I received from The staff.

We booked three rooms in this beautiful nature have even that was advertised as a peaceful top quality customer service resort. It is absolutely gorgeous. I don’t feel like I can return though ever again because apparently there’s a concert venue here also and I didn’t pay nor did I sign up to attend a concert that blasted through the forest, making it impossible to relax and listen to the frogs in the evening and the wind through the trees. Instead, there was screeching from the concert venue coming through the forest. I wasn’t able to just enjoy the fountain outside our window and just stare up at the stars and dive into my own thoughts and enjoy nature. When I asked for another blanket, also apparently they don’t have extra blankets so you get what you get. The customer service person thought it would be OK to just offer a couple extra sheets. Thank goodness one of our other parties had an extra blanket in their room that they didn’t need so definitely not the top quality, peaceful exquisite disconnected experience that they are advertising.

What we didn't like was unsupervised teen agers being WAY TOO LOUD between 10 pm till after midnight that took 4 different calls to the front desk before the level of noise from them was at a next unit over quiet enough to sleep. 4 calls is 3 too many!!!

Excellent overall, just a few annoyances: - A bit far from downtown Leavenworth. - No TV (not entirely bad after all). - Stairs to the upper bedroom are very steep, you have to climb down backwards.

We enjoyed our stay at Sleeping Lady in early spring. Beautiful location on the Cascade Mountains. Conveniently located a few miles from Leavenworth where there is plenty of shopping and dining opportunities.

Fantastic getaway close to the center of Leavenworth. The main issue is that the O’Grady’s restaurant is closed - food options are very sparse. The Grotto bar has pizzas and salads - but the salad come in a plastic container; not like a restaurant. Very limited. Breakfast is just ok and is $25 a person.

The location was beautiful. It was our first time in Leavenworth and we loved being out by the mountains but only a 9 minute drive from the village. Our little cabin was super cute too but found it odd was no tv. Also found it odd there weren’t people around the resort, we hardly saw anyone. We felt there were so many missed opportunities for there to be fun activities in the big rec building or the restaurant but everything was very quiet and dead. The restaurant had very limited hours and offered a very basic bland breakfast for a high price. We enjoyed the outdoor hot tub. Felt this property has so much potential and we hope they up their game so they stay in business but still had an enjoyable experience.

This is such a unique property! I loved that it was set up like a camp with all the conveniences of a hotel. The buildings were positioned to take advantage of the terrain and stunning views. The art provided surprises at every turn. I appreciated the quiet setting just a short drive from the touristy bustle of Leavenworth.

Sleeping lady resort was such an amazing place tucked away in the mountains in such a beautiful town. The cabin was amazing and the location is private and away from the busy street. Would definitely come back to this amazing resort.

I love the Sleeping Lady. Too bad Kingfisher restaurant was closed. I loved that restaurant and they needed to close because of covid concerns. Also, the Hot tube was closed. But I still enjoyed this wonderful place.

This was our second visit and the only place we want to stay. We love this resort for its beautiful setting, the natural surroundings, the pool area, the robes and peaceful atmosphere. We were there on a warm night and the AC unit couldn’t keep up so adding a fan to move the air around would be helpful. We ordered pizza at the grotto along with a dozen other guests and waited a very long time. Turns out the pizza is made off site and delivered and the place where it was made waited to group all of the orders together so they only needed to drive out once. Some pizzas were cold. If you are going to offer pizza, please find a way to cook it on site. All said, we will be back again and again!

Great location and great property. Among other things, Sleeping Lady can be a wonderful romantic getaway, or a fun place to take your whole family. It’s quiet here and located in a beautiful wilderness area. I’ve been here in the dead of winter with snow everywhere and in summer. All my experiences here have been very positive.

We LOVED our 2-night stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. The lodging was clean and simply laid out but peaceful and nestled in a beautiful setting. Kingfisher restaurant is amazing. We had the salad and papers (excellent), chicken and rockfish. All were good and reasonably priced. What’s amazing is that we didn’t even have to go into town.

Absolutely loved this resort. I was on a long road trip that involved quite a bit of camping so I was looking forward to staying inside. My expectations were far exceeded. I loved the location set back in the woods at the end of a road. Yet it was still convenient to explore the local town and surrounding area. The room had a bed downstairs and a loft. Absolutely loved this resort. I was on a long road trip that involved quite a bit of camping so I was looking forward to staying inside. My expectations were far exceeded. I loved the location set back in the woods at the end of a road. Yet it was still convenient to explore the local town and surrounding area. The room had a bed downstairs and a loft. I would caution anyone using the loft to be extremely careful as the steps were VERY steep. Other than the steps, which did not effect me, the room was perfect.

I have been visiting Leavenworth for over 20 years, and I will only stay at the Sleeping Lady Resort from here on out. The property was very well maintained and gave an isolated feel, despite it being so close to town. We brought 2 dogs and they were very welcoming to our pups. I was also blown away by how clean everything was! No dust on the floor trim, no cobwebs or dirt in the corners of the rooms, bathrooms, or in the common areas. We also felt very safe as it is well lit at night when we walked the dogs in the middle of the night. It is tucked away so nicely in the mountains that it felt like the perfect getaway. The only thing I didn't like was the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner they provided. Can't wait to go back again!

I love these cabins. First time at the pool sand it was warm. Saw a dead bee in the window sill but hey, it's nature. The onsite map could be a little more accurate. It's old and not accurate anymore.
