The customer service at the front desk was amazing. Being able to get my workouts in was top tier. Being close to stores and the freeway was awesome.. would definitely stay there again.

So I feel as if no one ever talks about the fitness centers in these hotels! Perhaps, that’s not their thing, however, I am a fitness girly and it was definitely ahhhhmazing!!! They had all the weights for my lifting and treadmill worked ahhhmazingly, no torn and worn out equipment! As always I come in for business and check in till check out experience is always great!!! Ash had a smile upon entering he made sure my floor request was honored all with quick service!! Clean rooms great air conditioning hot water with great water pressure!!! This will continue to be my first option when visiting in Slidell LA! Thank yall!!!

Very disappointed in our 6 night stay at this Candlewood Suites. We got in very late at night and there was not a problem checking in, which is a positive. However we entered a room with a terrible odor. Assuming it was musty and perhaps hadn’t been used in some time, we unpacked and hoped by turning on the AC the smell would disappear. It did not! As we were keeping a very busy itinerary and not there during the day, we did not just kept assuming that the smell would be gone when we returned at night. Unfortunately that smell never cleared. Halfway thru our stay someone reached out via text
