Great stay at the Tides. Checkin was quick and easy an hour early. Had two bedroom room which was very spacious and clean. The pool was beautiful, large and clean, they also have indoor pool that was clean. Kayak and bike rental on site. Felt very safe there also gave free breakfast with toast, bagels, cereal, yogurt danishes and muffins. Great stay will definitely go back again

I love Ogunquit and we have stayed at this location many times over the last 20+ years. The location is walking distance to town and the beach. It is on a tidal river and has kayaks available to use. They have an indoor and outdoor pool. Both were immaculate. There is a nice continental breakfast area. Would be nice if they also served eggs too, but does have varied offerings. Will be back again another year. Thanks!

Nice property, was excited to swim in the outdoor pool but it was closed. Indoor pool was nice but there were fire protection pipes not fully functional- hm.. suite we had was nice but the couch and chairs were very stiff. They did offer cheaper bike rates after I had negotiated with them considering the pool was closed but never ended up using them.

Lovely hotel, great location for beach and centre, staff very helpful and friendly, only down side is it has 2 pools, outdoor and indoor " heated", both of them are absolutely freezing to the point where its unpleasant.

No food..beach was 15 minutes away. Hard to get an ederly parent to walk. No resturants were near there Pool was nice but no towels. Offered no breakfast.

Location is good. Breakfast is simple, but satisfaying. Unfortunately, the outdoor pool was closed for unknown reason, other than they were waiting for the inspector, during 5 days. It really negatively affected our stay. No compensation was offered other than to use the pool at another hotel which had to be driven to. We are very disappointed by the situation.

Nice location. The floors in the room were extremely dirty. Screens in windows had gaping holes in them so you could sleep with windows open and catch the sea breeze. Also, the pool was under construction and we were not told until arriving. Overall the property was sloppy in its presentation.

Check in was easy and staff were friendly enough except for when we got into our room it had clearly not been well cleaned as we found garbage left behind in several areas, as well as the pull out bed was very dirty. We had let them know in advance there were 5 of us and would be using the pull out couch as well as the 2 beds. We had to hunt someone down for bedding for the pullout. When we told them it was still dirty from before they didn't care and just said, here is your fresh bedding. Blankets were very thin and worn. No option to turn up the heat in our room so we were all cold that night as well. No bathroom ventilation fan either so it was very humid in there after showering. (Not good for mold) Also we didn't have enough towels in our room but just got tired of having to chase someone down for everything. When calling the front desk they said we had to go to them to pick up.

The light fixtures had dead bugs in them. Behind the bathroom door, was painting of different colors. And when I used the hairdryer it almost fell off the wall!!!!

I understand this may have been an off-season period for your company; however, we did find the room to be in an unsatisfactory condition. For example, there were leftover items such as a tissue on the floor and a dental pick near the table. Additionally, the floor needed sweeping, and there were visible spills on the walls that required cleaning. We wanted to bring this to your attention for future reference. Thank you for looking into this.

This property was in a great location. The one king bedroom with kitchenette and full size fridge was spacious. The only true downfall was the super dirty floors. There was no door mat so obviously there was no way to wipe off dirty shoes at the door. Basically with a resort located next to a sandy waterway and parking spaces right in front of the room door, everyone comes in with dirty shoes. The floors weren’t openly dirty but they were gummy and obviously not mopped, only swept. My socks were so stained. The room price was great for an off season price. We stayed on Oct. 23rd. The free breakfast was plentiful. The staff were efficient but not especially friendly. I would stay here again but just keep my shoes on constantly.

We had room 214, not realizing when we booked it that we had the best room. Spacious with a balcony that we could see the river and ocean. Very walkable, walking to both the Foot Bridge, Shops and Perkins Cove. Highly recommend!

Was a quick stop on the way to see family. My one complaint was that the wifi connection was poor. Normally wouldnt mind but their tv relies on streaming mostly. Other than that it was fine.

Really great place to stay. Was amazed at the space in the two-bedroom room I rented. Thought the price was great for what I received. A few spots in the room could use some TLC, but overall the room was spacious and clean!

Check in and all staff encountered were unwelcoming and gave off a strange cold vibe like they really didn't want to be there. Cheaply furnished rooms, no warm or relaxing vibe, no view, cheap unattractive utensils, glassware appeared to be free handouts from local wineries. Definitely would not stay here again. Well worth it to spend just a few more dollars elsewhere as this place definitely has some internal issues going on.

The place is a scam. It markets itself as a resort but is actually a cheap motel. A few observations: staff is unfriendly and un-helpful, at checkin the guy at the front desk basically handed me the room key and didn’t even tell me where to go. They say there is internet but it’s sporty at best. The continental breakfast is a joke: there are oatmeal packets but no water to make them. There is yogurt in the fridge but some of the containers look like they burst and no one bothered to get rid of them. However, they do have a tip basket out: not sure what they want to be tipped for. The breakfast room is not manned except there was an employee making strange notices in the “employee room” next door. The pool does not have towels, you have to bring your own, that’s fine for a motel but not a resort. All of this would be fine if they did not misrepresent themselves but they charged upwards of $500 a night for this. I think this is a scam and hotels.com needs to check who they are doing business with before advertising this place.

Check in was so very horrible. I booked on hotels.com yet the front desk person kept telling me it never went through. She was entirely inept and a problem since the moment I walked in. The hotel owner/manager had to come and take care of things. But she was persistent that there was no pay,ent. My account on hotels.com kept confirming I was all set but she became hostile and wanted me to pay again. The front desk was a nightmare not only for me but for others behind and before me. I’ve never experienced such ignorance and attitude in any other hotel.

this place has always been great - we have stayed her often. pool is always clean and area well kept. We missed the continental breakfast of congdons donuts they use to serve - this time they directed us to anothe one of their hotels for a continental breakfast - we didn't bother with that. I forgot my earrings in the room. When I got home realized it and called them not only did they hold onto them for me unitl I could retrieve they also had found my husband belt which I hadn't even asked for..

We reserved a 2 bedroom suite on the first floor to accommodate a handicap person. When we arrived our room was on the 2 floor with no elevators. At first they had a room they were going to move us to, but were unable to because another staff gave guest room keys without checking them in on the computer system. We waited for a half hour while the staff argued and tried to figure out which rooms had guests and who had not arrived yet since nobody was properly checked in. There were no rooms to accommodate us even after I offered to pay more for a bigger room if necessary. A 90 degree day in July and we are stuck in a parking lot with no place to stay with a person who has special needs. Being summer we had a difficult time finding another place with a vacancy. 2 hours later we found a place and were able to get into the AC and enjoy our trip.

We had requested a ground floor room upon our arrival due to my 82-year-old mother’s recent knee replacement surgery. Since they had none available, the staff person at the desk upgraded us to a two bedroom cottage with no up charge to accommodate us. She was gracious friendly And I would strongly recommend this location.

Our stay was wonderful. TV in original room was not working properly. Staff was very accommodating and we were upgraded to another room. Super check-in staff.

We had room 214, not realizing when we booked it that we had the best room. Spacious with a balcony that we could see the river and ocean. Very walkable, walking to both the Foot Bridge, Shops and Perkins Cove. Highly recommend!

Great location! Efficiency apartment was wonderful. Super clean and very quiet. Beautiful views with incredible sunrises from the property. Walked 15-20 minutes to Ogunquit Beach early one morning for a gorgeous sunrise. Enjoyed Perkins Cove and the Marginal Way. All walkable! I would definitely return!

We enjoyed our stay. We have stayed in most of the more expensive hotels in Ogunquit and while we enjoy them, we decided to save some money this trip and were pleasantly surprised that we didn't feel like we gave up a lot to save over 50%. Location is excellent with several restaurants and breakfast places within a short walk. We would stay here again, for sure, perhaps in one of the cottages by the water.

Great stay at the Tides. Checkin was quick and easy an hour early. Had two bedroom room which was very spacious and clean. The pool was beautiful, large and clean, they also have indoor pool that was clean. Kayak and bike rental on site. Felt very safe there also gave free breakfast with toast, bagels, cereal, yogurt danishes and muffins. Great stay will definitely go back again

Would stay again. Excellent location and price. Lovely to offer the 24/7 snacks and breakfast on-the-go. Playground 10min walk away. Town 10mins walk. Very reasonable price for a perfect getaway.

I love Ogunquit and we have stayed at this location many times over the last 20+ years. The location is walking distance to town and the beach. It is on a tidal river and has kayaks available to use. They have an indoor and outdoor pool. Both were immaculate. There is a nice continental breakfast area. Would be nice if they also served eggs too, but does have varied offerings. Will be back again another year. Thanks!

We arrived early, and asked if we could park our car. They immediately prepared a room, for us, no extra charge. The same young lady, at the desk, told me about the breakfast, in case I didn't know, which I didn't, or had forgotten. The complimentary breakfast was great; no eggs, bacon or sausage, but everything else; good coffee, muffins, danish, hot and cold cereal, variety of toast, juice, and yogurt, maybe more. All the staff were extra pleasant and helpful. The room was impeccable. We didn't have time to use the amenities:. Outdoor pool, indoor heated pool, playground, patio set, bicycle rentals, kayak rentals and launch, but hope to on a return trip.

No food..beach was 15 minutes away. Hard to get an ederly parent to walk. No resturants were near there Pool was nice but no towels. Offered no breakfast.

The internet was spotty, our tv only worked with Amazon and the wifi wasn't reliable. The bed frames make a metal sound when you move around even adjusting in your sheep they sound like a metal sheet shifting, we could even hear the bed upstairs through the floor. Unfortunately I won't be coming back.

Checkin was simple,frontdesk attendent was nice and helpful. Ample parking. Hotel lobby had ATM, local brochures,soda/water/light snacks for sale,restrooms. (Complimentary coffee/tea or water wouldve been a helpful touch there) Our room was a double bedroom with kitchenette. It was clean,however the floor throughout was wet from cleaning so our socks got wet quickly. We took our shoes off immediately so we wouldnt track sand in. The kitchenette had basics like silverware,pots/pans,dishes,bowls,coffee mugs,glasses,dish detergent,sponge,handtowel,toaster,coffeemaker,microwave,stovetop,fridge,table with 4 chairs. The bathroom had toiletpaper,shower gel and shampoo,towels. Bedrooms had comfy beds and pillows,plenty of outlets,box of tissues,iron and ironing boards,plenty of drawers and an open closet with shelves and hangers. The livingroom had an air-conditioner,large screen tv with remote,desk with chair,a couch and 2 chairs. Next time we will ask for upper floor,due to heavy walkers above us,somewhat inhibiting naps and early bedtime 11pm. Inside pool/outside pool were clean/refreshing,plenty of pool loungers/chairs. There were bikes/kayaks to rent,but we didnt utilize them,nor did we use the tennis court. Daily complimentary breakfast was sufficient(coffee,milk,orange/apple juice,bread,croissants,bagels,p.butter,jam,muffins,apples,yogurt,oatmeal/cereal) $5 trolley in front of hotel. Short walk behind to channel of water,then dunes then beach♡see pics of all.easy checkout
