I was drawn to stay in this hotel by the beautiful pictures on Hotels.com, and I was not disappointed. It has some beautiful character that distinguishes it from other places. There is public parking less than a block away that cost me 19 Euro (June 2023) for about 24 hours. I was greeted and efficiently checked in by very friendly staff. My room was small but comfortable, and the air conditioning cooled it down quickly. The location is about a 10-15 minute walk from most of the Roman sites, which I found to be perfect. There are several outdoor places to eat along a park about 1-2 blocks away. I was provided with a code to unlock the door, but the person at the reception desk beat me to it every time. As a female traveling alone, I felt safe and comfortable at a very good price.

A cozy, comfortable, clean, well decorated, with private bathroom, 1 star Hostal. Centrally located to all tourist attractions. Paid parking was €10/day and about 150 meters from the hotel. The room included breakfast, which it was toast with any topping, coffee, juice and pastries, simple, but enough. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, even though we were in the room next to the front desk. This Hostal allowed pets for an extra charge. Staff was nice and very helpful. We will recommend this Hostal 100%.

Positiv: Aufzug, Matratzen waren gut. Negativ: das Bad war mini, keine Ablagen, Toilettensitz rutschte hin und her den Deckel musste man ständig befestigen. Klimaanlage blies direkt auf das Bett. Besonders ärgerlich, für die beiden ersten Nächte zahlten wir 161 Euro, angeblich weil due Spanier da Urlaub machten, für die 3. Nacht wurde 41 Euro verlangt und mehr ist der Aufenthalt dort nicht wert!

A pesar de la amabilidad del personal, las instalaciones necesitan algunas mejoras (humedades, pintura, desconchones...) y no eran demasiado cómodas ya que había poco espacio, sobre todo en los baños, donde casi no se cabía. La limpieza también estaba "un poco justa". Había telarañas, alguna toalla tenía manchas (no de sucia, sino de no haber salido la mancha después del lavado) y un trozo de envase de un preservativo en el suelo. Lo mejor, la ubicación cerca de todo, la amabilidad del personal y el buen trato para con nuestro perrito (son un alojamiento pet-friendly).

La ubicación del hotel era excelente por la cercanía al centro. La habitación que nos han asignado era demasiado pequeña para dos personas y por algun problema en el baño olía siempre fatal. A short walk up the hill from the train station. Once there there, look left and the brightly coloured hotel is looking back at you We had a front room next to the street. This wasn't a problem. Decorated in a Moorish style We stayed two nights. Top effort by the cleaner as the room was spotless Only minor complaint was the sliding door to the bathroom was a bit wobbly. Minor enough to ignore it The staff were friendly It's a good location for a short visit A very enjoyable days in this town. History and a good sociable environment

La habitación estaba en un total abandono. La mampara de la ducha no cerraba bien y se salía el agua, todo estaba lleno de moho y daba mucho asco. El papel higiénico tenía una cinta haciendo de precinto, pero se notaba que ese rollo de papel lo habían utilizado antes y no se gastó, por eso la cinta.La TV estaba en un idioma que no tengo ni idea de cuál es, solo se escuchaba en castellano las noticias y algunas series. Por desgracia, no hice fotos de la habitación, pero si del papel porque flipé como nunca.

Sólo se pueden decir cosas buenas de este alojamiento: Siempre atentos para que te sientas como en casa. Desbordan amabilidad. Muy bien ubicada, muy limpia. Cama muy cómoda. A pesar de estar a 44 grados en la calle, se estaba de maravilla en la habitación.

Short stay. Comfortable & nicely decorated room. Good location, not right in the middle of all things Merida, but all things to see in Merida are a comfortable walking distance. I Would recommend to stay here. The staff member in reception upon our arrival was very informative and friendly.

Me ha sorprendido para bien este hotel. Muy coqueto, muy cómodo y al mismo tiempo buen precio. Una habitación individual excelente y ademas incluia nevera. El personal muy atento. A 5 min escasos del centro histórico. Volveria sin dudarlo. Solo pondria una pequeña pega: las puertas hacen bastante ruido al cerrarse.

Nice, colorful, and great value for the price! The owners are welcoming, extremely helpful, and available 24/7! I would absolutely reccomend. Don´t use their laundry service though, it is a bit expensive, just walk to the laundry down the road.

This is a beautifully decorated hotel in a very central location. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was basic, but again, it was beautifully decorated. I loved my stay in Mérida and the hotel was a great place to base myself. I would love to go back one day.

This is a beautifully decorated hotel in a very central location. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was basic, but again, it was beautifully decorated. I loved my stay in Mérida and the hotel was a great place to base myself. I would love to go back one day.

I was drawn to stay in this hotel by the beautiful pictures on Hotels.com, and I was not disappointed. It has some beautiful character that distinguishes it from other places. There is public parking less than a block away that cost me 19 Euro (June 2023) for about 24 hours. I was greeted and efficiently checked in by very friendly staff. My room was small but comfortable, and the air conditioning cooled it down quickly. The location is about a 10-15 minute walk from most of the Roman sites, which I found to be perfect. There are several outdoor places to eat along a park about 1-2 blocks away. I was provided with a code to unlock the door, but the person at the reception desk beat me to it every time. As a female traveling alone, I felt safe and comfortable at a very good price.

Short stay. Comfortable & nicely decorated room. Good location, not right in the middle of all things Merida, but all things to see in Merida are a comfortable walking distance. I Would recommend to stay here. The staff member in reception upon our arrival was very informative and friendly.

A short stroll from rail station and the town centre. Welcoming and helpful reception. Room and hotel decor added to good first impressions. I enjoyed my stay. A comfortable bed and good night's sleep are important and did not disappoint. The air conditioning was available and a door led to a Juliet balcony style for fresh air. Breakfast was basically toast and jams etc. orange juice and a hot drink. Spanish style, though an omelette would have been a nice option.

A cozy, comfortable, clean, well decorated, with private bathroom, 1 star Hostal. Centrally located to all tourist attractions. Paid parking was €10/day and about 150 meters from the hotel. The room included breakfast, which it was toast with any topping, coffee, juice and pastries, simple, but enough. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, even though we were in the room next to the front desk. This Hostal allowed pets for an extra charge. Staff was nice and very helpful. We will recommend this Hostal 100%.

Don't let the 1* and term "hostal" put you off. It really just means it doesn't have all the "extras" that you never use anyway. I stayed 3 nights (solo) and it was excellent. Tiny room but big enough. Clean, comfy bed, modern bathroom, aircon (thankfully), free WiFi, helpful staff, basic breakfast, close to amenities. What more do you need?
