I am not used to going to a hotel and not being able to walk in the lobby at night (not a bad thing) but we checked in through a plexiglass which was really easy and convenient. The view from our room, as we had a patio, was gorgeous so being able to look at the sunset and the mountains at night and sunrise in the morning was incredible. The breakfast food is not anything special, there wasn't any fresh fruit or eggs which was a little disappointing. The outdoor pool was nice to swim around in. I think the only real complaint I had was the water pressure in the shower and tub was basically nonexistent. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay!

Our first room was filthy and under construction.Then when we asked to move to another room as the shower was filled with construction debris they told us if we messed with they beds they will charge us a cleaning fee. Then when we asked for more towels they said they would deliver to room next day if we really needed them. We weee a family of six and only three towels were in room so yes we needed them. The next morning we all tripped on the hazardous stairs that had aluminum edge and loose tile. The breakfast was a joke. There were twinkies and hostesses cupcakes and stale cereal that’s it. What a shame beautiful location but horrible nasty place.

We were give an unclean room with bare mattresses & trash. Gross! The front clerk apologized but was not friendly about it. When it took a fair amount of time to get us new keys & l suggested we get our money back, she got rude. There were no carts for luggage & only stairs. Not ADA accessible. Floors were gross & bathroom smelled like urine.

Our room was difficult to find, and after finally finding it, the key wouldn't open the door, after going back to the lobby to get the key reprogrammed, it did open the room but couldn't access the fitness room. And when I went to use the coffee maker the water just leaked out everywhere. It was clean the desk guy was nice and the pool looked nice. But it was just a subpar experience. So my rating is just okay.

Musky and humid walking into lobby of hotel. Moldy smell in our room with mold on the aiir conditioner unit. Gap in door to hallway. Found several german cockroachs in the room along with nymphs or young adult german cockroaches. Brought attention to front desk and even gave them physical specimens of the roaches.

The motel was a bit dated but very comfortable and clean, with exception to the ceiling vent which had dirt and mold on it. I was disappointed that they would not recognize my dogs support animal paperwork. I was, however, glad that they accepted dogs. Pre check-in was very efficient.

Well, when we checked in the front desk staff gave me our room key, went upstairs to put stuff in the room and it was already occupied by others, went back to the front desk and told her and she was very nonchalant about it. I informed her that it could of been a very bad situation walking in on people in their room. The room had a few repairs that was done was not complete,the toilet was very far away from the wall, water pressure in the shower was very low. Breakfast options was a joke. The good thing about it was their is a Mexican restaurant next door.

The front desk folks (Betty in the evening hours and Jordan in the morning daytime hours) both were very friendly, accommodating, friendly and welcoming, especially Betty, after our long 13 hour drive from Oklahoma to Cookeville, TN. Our rooms were placed side by side for family convenience and the beds were quite comfortable. Rooms were clean and sanitized. The one negative was the TV had no channel directives list and the steps were quite steep, no elevators present. But, our stay of one night was just what we needed and we got rested, cleaned up and fed a nice delicious free continental type breakfast of griddle waffles, Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches, mini donuts, juice, milk and coffee. Upon our next trip across country to visit family, we will remember the Baymont by Wyndham motel. Thanks & kudos especially to "Betty and Jordan". The Thie family of Northern, VA.

My credit card was charged the $100 deposit. Never had any hotel actually charge the card for the deposit. When we asked about it, we were told it would come off by 1000 am the next day and it never did. I am disputing with my credit card.

The ladies at the front were rude. Also insisted i put down 100 cash deposit, no pet...and only gave me back 60 after i insisted because there was taco sause spot on the bed. Very rude very very hatefull

It smelled like someone peed in a Clorox bottle and sprayed it around the room. After securing late checkout (11:30), the staff entered the room twice without knocking (10:40, 11) and then knocked again at 11:15. Their coffee-flavored water is also ass.

The employees were hostile and lied about their policies. I don't care what their signs said, I was told my bank card would only be preauthorized for a deposit and then canceled when they inspected my room. No one would actually inspect my room because it wasn't a cash deposit. The charge actually went thru. Now I have to wait 7-10 days for a refund. Night clerk asked me 3x if I had pets and reaffirmed their pet policy. I don't even have pets! The breakfast area was under video surveillance with signs everywhere telling to so. I guess they were worried about someone stealing their Hostess cakes and yogurt, because that was practically all they had besides dry cereal. When I called today about the charge on my account, Kelly told me I would have to wait 7-10 days for my refund and hung up on me. Hostile employees and pathetic accommodations. Clean and quit. There is a nice Mexican restaurant that shares the parking lot and is very convenient. The food is really good! Each room has its own balcony and the pool is open. The only thing was they didn’t have butter for the waffles.

We needed a place to sleep for the nigh, arriving late and leaving early. The hotel is clean, close to I-40 and has a basic breakfast with cold cereals, coffee, other cold breakfast items and a waffle maker. The price was reasonable for a double room. The parking lot is well lighted and felt safe. I would stay here again.

Forget the low ratings you may see, this is a clean and convenient motel with very helpful staff. I use it as a way station on my trips to Nashville, so I can arrive in the big city relaxed and rested and ready to play. The hotel is nestled into a hillside with spectacular views of the mountains, if you're lucky enough to get one of the second-story balcony rooms. The nearby Mexican restaurant is also excellent. Be sure to make your reservation online for a significant savings. I've even heard the clerks tell that to customers.

Not the cleanest place. Pool is outdoors, the fitness room is closed (apparently since Covid), and the free breakfast is very limited. Should have spent a little more and stayed at the HI Express.

Front was very friendly. No breakfast available due to remodeling and wasn’t notified online. Our room was clean and quiet. The phone didn’t work but we had our cell phones.

The Hotel is very old. It needs some updating and is under staffed. The Breafast is ceareal waffle juice yoguart and Coffee. No oatmeal Bgels or fruit or grain free or sugerfree or eggs for dia betics! Also on hotel.com the handicapp room is not offered and there is up charge $25 more and for dogs $20 so this place was a lot more than exspected. Managent was very polite and will fix a problem asap himself if needed!

Our first room was filthy and under construction.Then when we asked to move to another room as the shower was filled with construction debris they told us if we messed with they beds they will charge us a cleaning fee. Then when we asked for more towels they said they would deliver to room next day if we really needed them. We weee a family of six and only three towels were in room so yes we needed them. The next morning we all tripped on the hazardous stairs that had aluminum edge and loose tile. The breakfast was a joke. There were twinkies and hostesses cupcakes and stale cereal that’s it. What a shame beautiful location but horrible nasty place.

Breakfast was terrible. They had cereal in tupperware containers. Not food safe whatsoever. No milk, no yogurt, and the waffle batter smelled weird. The room wasnt terrible we liked the soze but breakfast ruined the entire stay for us

Check in was fast and friendly. The ceiling in the bathroom looked it was about to fall in. The bathroom door was not shaved down after the tile was laid and was dragging on the floor when you close it, disturbing sleeping gamily in the room. The refrigerator freezer was iced over and the door would not shut due to ice buildup. The "continental" breakfast was lame with twinkies and cupcakes in lieu of rolls. Property is older, bathroom needed new caulking around the tub, hallways smelled badly, room was clean. Checked in with a service animal and let them know during check in, but when checking out the front desk attempted to keep our deposit for not saying we had an animal, demand paperwork on my service animal, and said that we had left the room a mess in the 2 minutes it took to walk to the front desk. I showed them the front desk the ADA rules regarding service animals and what questions they were legally allowed to ask, and showed pictures of the room before and after check out. 75/100 deposit returned.

The staff was extremely accommodating and very nice. The only drawback that I had was right outside the door where you entered the hotel they had little buckets of sand in different locations for people to put out their cigarettes. That is the last thing I want to see when I am walking through a main entrance and the room had a strange odor that smelled like animal urine. The location was great but I probably would not stay there again.

It's about what youd expect for $50 a night. They require a $100 deposit for your stay. They tried to take it twice from me at check in and double chagred me for my room. Spent 15 minutes going back and forth with the owner because of this. They tried blaming expedia. Cleanliness was subpar- blankets had stains, tub had hair in it. Floors had food crumbs. Little patio was nice. Water barely gets warm in the shower. Housekeeping staff was still cleaning rooms at 3 pm and had dirty linens thrown in the hallway floors. Hotel is non smoking but smelt heavily of cigarettes and weed. Staff cant control what guests do, but the hallways were very loud until about midnight with people slamming doors and yelling. Beds were extremely firm. Was supposed to stay 2 nights but dipped out early. Its outside of cookeville so traffic isnt bad, but you will hear sirens all night on I40. Its a place to crash and you get what you pay for.
