Room was not very clean. After checking in, went to look for pool and was told it was being renovated. Would have been nice if they said something upon check-in. Breakfast was ok but no fruit or bread for toast. They did have hot eggs and sausage, cereal, bagels. Overall was ok but they could do better.

Nothing was kept up, breakfast ran out both days in a row in the middle, no water in the gym for days, no one know seemed to know or want to do anything, mold in the shower…

Squeaky bed, no stopper for the bathtub and spotty room aervice for towels, toiletries, etc. breakfast was amazing. Pool was closed. I think I would stay again.

Overall I liked the place. It was very clean. They had name brand soap, shampoo, etc, which is always good. The breakfast was average. My only complaints are, no exhaust fans in the bathroom, and the place needed some maintenance. The elevator was inoperative and the carpet patching was shoddy.

Room was very clean and breakfast was great but disappointed in the pool area. Smaller pool than expected, pool area was dirty and a dirty diaper and kids underwear and socks were left in the pool area. Outside in the parking lot kids toys were sitting in parking spots so we could not use

The hotel staff when I checked in was super nice and made sure to ask if I wanted to be on the 3rd or 4th floor as well as to see if I needed to be close to laundry facilities. However, the heater/air conditioner ran all night blowing cool air even on heat. The lights in the bathroom only the mirror one worked. The last day I was there the elevator quit working so I had to carry all my bags down from the 3rd floor in a hot stairwell. The only good thing about this stay was it was close to where I needed to be. It was not worth the price that I paid and will not stay here again in the future

At face value, it was nice. But upon reaching our room, we were hit with a musty/ damp smell. The smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling, the shower wall was covered with mold, the bath room toiletries had been used before we got there and the toilet handle was hanging out of the toilet, broken. The carpet was sticky on our feet. And the level that they put us on, they were apparently in the middle of a renovation so we were awaken to people outside our room pulling up carpet and padding. There were not that many people staying in the hotel, I felt like they could have put us on a different floor that wasn’t undergoing renovations. Our floor seems to be the only one getting them. After a two night stay we all left with a sore scratchy throat.

We had bed bugs in our room. We woke up and got packed and head down for breakfast and the breakfast just old and lacked flavor. I guess it is hotel breakfast but still the biscuits were hard and stale tasting along with the bagel. The yogurt was spoiled. When we got dressed we noticed tons of little bites on our legs and after looking it up it was bed bug bites. When we checked in the front desk lady was rude. She put us on the second floor and all we heard all night was a dog barking and the people above us pushing furniture around and stomping. My husband only got 3 hours of sleep because of it. We were traveling by ourselves with no children or animals. So I’m not sure why we got put on the second floor when they were putting children and sketchy people on the 4th. This place although looks nice and is in a good area everything else was just not it. The bed bugs really sealed the deal for the bad rating. I try to be fair and reasonable but that’s just poor cleaning at that point.

Check in was great with nice staff. Woke up at 12:20am with bedbugs bitting me. Took video of the bugs in the bed. Packed up and went the the front desk. The lady was nice and apologized after showing her the video. She offered another room which I agreed and said she would have the owner reach out to me the following day. Never heard back from the owner. Room 316 has bedbugs

Typical breakfast. Room and the elevator smelled like wet dogs. Hallway carpeting was stained. Sheets did not fit the mattress. Corners were not cleaned at all. Toothpaste splattered on wallpaper behind sink. Bathroom floor was sticky and clearly not cleaned in corners, under the sink and behind door. Moldy calking around tub and the front of the tub was dirty. At least 7 different dogs on our floor some were barking/fighting at 11pm. Toilet flush handle broke but they did fix it the following day after a reminder call. Was told I'd get an inconvenience refund so i stayed in my room. Then was told I have to call Expedia for the refund because i booked through them. Disappointed and wont go back.

The La Quinta in Smyrna was very nice. The staff were very friendly and were constantly cleaning to make sure everything was perfect. Breakfast was good every morning.

Checking in the hotel staff did not recognize that this room was already paid for and tried to get us to pay for it. And then charges for incidentals which we haven’t even been in the room yet. The bed had crumbs on it as if it had never been made recently. And the sheet had blood spot on it. The sink had crusty’s on it. If we weren’t tired, I need to leave in the morning. We would’ve asked for a different room. Never again to this place.

Went to pull the covers back and discovered bed bugs crawling on top of sheet. Pulled the sheets off the bed and they were all over the mattress. They moved us to a different room which we thought was fine at first, but found that the new room also had bed bugs on the morning of us checking out. The front desk staff were rude and refused to address the situation.

The hotel room really badly needs updating. The woodwork on the sinks show lots of wear. The bathtub was scratched and rusted (Room 210). The wallpaper near the window was hanging from the ceiling. For the price we paid, I was expecting more.

This property is in great need of a remodel. It was clean. Beds were clean and comfortable, but the beds squeeked and squawked with every move. Bizarre.M The fixtures were clean but rusted. It needs fresh paint and carpet. The highway noise was terrible. We won't return.

The road noise was terrible. Even with the tv turned up still heard it all night and mattresses were not comfortable at all. Room space was amazing.

Beds very comfortable. Floors were sticky. Overall feeling is that hotel has been well used and could use deep clean and freshened up. Had everything needed for overnight stay. Rooms did not have greatest soundproofing. Great coffee at breakfast . Fair price for bringing pet along and good dog walk area. Nearby stores gas and restaurants.

The TV cable wasn't working so we couldn't get any local stations, the bed creaked every time you moved and you could hear every truck that drove by. Not a restful sleep. However, it was very clean and the staff was nice.

Front desk evening staff was rude and sarcastic which you don’t experience too much in the area. Extra fees so beware of that. Privately owned so they feel they can make up charges as they go and charge different people different rates.

Upon arrival, employee didn’t look up from computer to greet/no name tag/no uniform-got to room- loud music played from an unknown room/other sounds also coming from room- called front desk, no answer, twice- 3 rd time different employee answered - assisted us in getting different room away from party room- got to room- door was opened?- called to verify it was correct room- window wouldn’t shut tightly ? Food area was clean and orderly - Unfortunately would not be staying again

Our stay was uneventful. One night stay. What we do have a problem with is after checking out and driving 300 miles home my husband realized he must have left one of his hearing aids. I tried multiple times to call the hotel to see if they found it. The call would not even go through. I then called the customer help and they tried calling and they could not get through. They took my information and said the hotel would get back to us. That was several hours and we still have not heard anything.

Went to pull the covers back and discovered bed bugs crawling on top of sheet. Pulled the sheets off the bed and they were all over the mattress. They moved us to a different room which we thought was fine at first, but found that the new room also had bed bugs on the morning of us checking out. The front desk staff were rude and refused to address the situation.

The tv in our room did not work nor the tub stopper. When we told the staff at the front desk, she couldn’t even be bothered to look up from what she was doing to acknowledge our issue. That was very disappointing because we usually have great stays at la Quinta suites

Sufficient place to stay. Very friendly staff and very helpful. If you do stay request a room on the back side of the property as the rooms facing the highway tend to be loud due to all the traffic. Plenty of food options across the street that you will have to drive to.

Friendly check-in staff. Very dog friendly; outside area for dogs to go with supplied bags. Decent breakfast. Just be aware that it is close the interstate and it is noisy.

Room was clean but found a black hair on the sheet when we turned the covers back. Breakfast was ok. Scrambled eggs were instant. Sausage was extremely greasy.

Very Pleased with the stay, Clean, everyone was very friendly and polite. The morning breakfast was very good with many choices of food and drinks to have. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to others !

The check in was very easy and timely. The room was typical except the bathroom tub needs to be grouted. They didn’t come and clean our room or give fresh towels on day two, but to be fair we were pretty late leaving our hotel room- probably 12pm. The breakfast tasted good but there wasn’t a variety. There was sausage biscuits & gravy all weekend without switching the protein up to bacon. The breakfast was good otherwise.

The La Quinta in Smyrna was very nice. The staff were very friendly and were constantly cleaning to make sure everything was perfect. Breakfast was good every morning.

Overall my stay was wonderful! Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Great place to stay! My only complaint was that they shut down the breakfast too early. Breakfast is supposed to be served until 9:00 and when I got there at 8:45 everything was cleaned up and put away. So if you want breakfast make sure you get there early!

Breakfast is the worst i have ever had at the hotel chain the juice was badly watered down and I would not feed the food to my dogs.The hotel is run down and full of illegals.

Friendly greeting. First room assigned, we found black stains on sheets, toenail?clippings and smelly adult tank top on bathroom shelf. Pool was trashed with beers cans overflowing the trashcan. Group of adult men having party with portable bbq pit by back entrance was uncomfortable trying to enter as half of them seemed drunk. Two men got on elevator with me almost falling over giving hard stares to me. Breakfast was manned by the guy at the front desk who was there everyday as if he is the one employee. I had to clean off a table to eat at every morning as all tables were dirty. Food not refilled when ran out. Checkout was quick and friendly.

the place was affordable and clean however the lady that worked the evening shift was less than friendly and very hard to reach at the front desk as she stayed in the office with the door shut. There wasnt a bell out to get her attention and I had to call the property from the lobby in order to get her to open the door and come out, where she had several people waiting to be helped. The breakfast was good however the pool was closed, which was not made public knowledge when booking. This would have been a reason to book elsewhere as we brought our 3 smaller children with us. just minor tweaks to service by the evening shift and more transparency regarding upgrades, maintenance and renovations would have been helpful.

I honestly booked the room for an overnighter because I was attending a concert. After checking in around 4, I only had time to use it to change my clothes. After entering the room, I noticed the bathtub had a steady stream of water, the sheer curtains at the window were torn and the curtain behind it had BAD STAINS that look like water leaked on it and left it looking rusty from the middle down to the end. There was also a stain on one of the bed sheets. Additionally, the mattress on one of the beds was uncomfortable and had a big brown stain visible through the mattress cover, which I discovered after requesting more sheets and attempting to change them. However, I ended up not staying because I was too disgusted. I don’t feel comfortable enough to sleep there and decided to check-out about 2 and head back home 2 1/2 hours away. Unfortunately, my room was nonrefundable when I booked, so I just took that loss.
