Great getaway, heated pool, fire pits and super friendly staff

I booked a stay here for a birthday weekend of hiking and soaking. I booked specifically because they have a hot tub and barrel sauna. However when I arrive (mind you, there is no where else to stay in the area, it's outside a national park) the staff let me know that the hot tub was broken - ok - a bummer but it happens, then I asked about the sauna and they told me the sauna DOES NOT EXIST. So why is it on their website? This was the whole reason I booked. Now I was stuck in a place w/o the amenities advertised. Pretty crappy. Don't book if you want these things.

We were counting on a romantic getaway, with use of a heated pool and hot tub. The pool was dirty and the hot tub closed for maintenance.

Very convenient location, close to Mt. Rainier Sunrise entrance. Staff are friendly. Sauna was great after a hard day of hiking. Hot tub was broken but we enjoyed sitting in the warm water anyway. Not enough lighting in the living room area, a bit dark at night. Beds were comfortable. Not enough kitchen utensils, plates and bowls for the 3 of us. Convenient outdoor water bottle station. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Great hot tub for apres ski and shuttle to the ski area.

The resort is close to Crystal so that makes it extremely convenient. It is very clean, well kept, and great staff. The pool is wonderful. The only problem this last visit was someone had puked in the hot tub and that wasn’t taken care of during our stay.

This place beat my expectations! One less star on the facilities because they do not actually have a sauna up and running. It's on the map they sent me but we were informed it isn't installed yet. I'll come back to write more about how great everything was when I'm back home. Charlie at the guest service area was so helpful. Mt Rainier National Park is just a ways down the road. Absolutely breathtaking and stunning experience.

Good location to Mt Rainier. Property was clean. Kitchen pots and pans have been well used. Property is very nice. Nice outdoor area. Nice pool area. Unfortunately, the hot tub wasn’t working. Nice treat to have - make s’mores. Staff was helpful. Nice place to stay.

The staff here were very helpful. Gave us some ideas for different hikes, sold some light snacks, and had firewood available. The pool, sauna and hot tub were beautiful and ther was a large lawn with volleyball, horseshoes, a fire pit and connect 4. It was a great stay for a quiet, outdoor focused stay.

The pool and spa were dirty and the bottom covered in algae. Something was wrong with the pool pump equipment and it kept gargling and bubbling all night. I thought the toilets were burbing, but it was the pool! Kept me up all night. The unit was clean, but the guard rails in the loft were unsafe and weak.

This property is in an excellent location for access to the Sunrise Corridor at Mt. Rainier National Park. Unfortunately, that is the only positive. They seem to spend all their money on trendy branding as opposed to keeping the space up. It felt dilapidated and dated. Having to download an app and complete a digital check in when the area has very limited cell service felt inconvenient and unnecessary. Our room was not clean; the property allows pets and it did not look like the rugs/carpet had been vacuumed. The rooms have tiny kitchenettes that were very difficult to cook in - the burners on the stove barely worked and the oven door didn't open completely because it hit the wall. There were only charcoal grills available and we hadn't brought charcoal. The facility charges a resort fee, but the amenities were very limited - a cold pool and a tepid hot tub. The location is gorgeous and the property was very quiet, despite being full, so I appreciated that. If you stay here just be prepared for a funky ski cabin and plan accordingly for how you will cook.

Kitchen was not clean. Refrigerator had hair and food spills inside. Dishes had residual food. Dishwasher was broken and had food spills inside. Cobwebs were under the hood of the stove. Left a full page handwritten note for the staff on the condition of the room when we left. Proximity to ski resort is the main reason to stay here. The room had everything we needed but cleanliness was a major challenge.

Place is a dirty unsanitary dump with pretty much non functional everything. Mouse poop in cabinets. Dirty dishes. Can't use the screen door to walk out on balcony because it's literally duct taped shut. No AC. Direct TV doesn't work. Staff says they have been promised upgrades. This property is terribly managed. It could be great. I would advise avoiding if at all possible. I will never stay in another LOGE property again. I'd rather stay in my car.

Great location, cozy, plenty of room for a family of 4. Now the negatives…. It was very dated and the beds were not comfortable at all. There were someone’s underwear in the drawers, old food in the oven, and no ice or AC. There doesn’t seem to be a lot of options for the area and it had a lot of potential but for the price point I expected a little more comfort and cleanliness.

Our cabin room was outdated with some missing mismatched dishes / old pots and pans . Small fridge had a tiny freezer with the freezer door missing , so it was frozen up and did not keep items frozen! The stove top has wires with wire nut hanging out above the the stove - the light didn’t not work . The kitchen had an odd smell ; when we returned after a day of hiking it smelled horrible . The staff responded and found a rotting mouse in a trap under the sink. The cabinets under the need updating / old and dirty. It can be a very nice place with the updating. The outlets were not accessible by the bedside tables; no charging devices provided, and only one bedside lamp. The hot tub was broken and waiting for a part This should have been revealed before we booked. We selected this place because of the hot tub for soaking after long hikes. We would have looked at other lodging . Hot and and pool are promoted.

Not sure where the 1 stars come from. Easy checkin/checkout. Room was super clean.

Excellent experience. Suite was very clean and we had everything we needed. The complementary gift bag was a pleasant surprise! Very comfortable bed.

Hot tub and pool were both under heated. The shower had mold growing around the edge & multiple spiders/many cobwebs were all around the residence.

We have plenty of nice things to say but we did have some major disappointments. We arrived at 4:16pm having received a message that check in was at 4pm. I had received a text at 12:00pm saying we were in one room and what our code was for the door. 40 mins later we got a text saying our room was elsewhere. When we arrived we went to the registration office, but there was a sign, at 4:16pm, saying that they would be back at 6:20pm.However I wasnt too worried because I had a code. We carried our bags up the stairs to our room and the code did not work. Thinking we may be in the room from the first text, we took our bags and went to it. The code did not work. I phoned for assistance and there was no answer. at 5:10pm a staff member came back. She was a pleasant person, but didn't seem to be too apologetic for our circumstances. She said she had to drive the staff back to their housing. My mother is disabled with chronic pain having Multiple Sclerosis and was in great need to stretch out her body after the car trip. We timed our traveling around this to care for her needs .Her body locked up in that wait time and it was not a great start for her trip and affected her experience there after. We booked the loft and it was a great space. However, there was trash left in the garbage can and an entire pizza left in the refrigerator. So perception was that it had not been cleaned. Jacuzzi wasnt working as well. Great location, warm room & cozy beds. I'd return, with better service.

Great location, loved the hiking trails on the property and the pool/hot tub/sauna. The rental units need some updating. When we arrived, our room was very smokey with strong odors and stayed that way the whole time. The chimneys need cleaning or replaced. We would likely stay here again, but request a more updated unit if there are any.

New owners, still great a great location at Crystal! I think the store needs far more freezer and refrigerated items…a stockpile of frozen pizzas, milk, butter, cheese, salami…you are pretty isolated up there, and the town stores are too far for a reasonable drive. Our stove only had two working burners, but it sounds like a remodel is underway, which is great! Will come again!

Room A1 is downstairs. People upstairs made a lot of noise and were constantly dropping stuff on the floors. The microwave was not reachable much too high. Otherwise very nice place.

Charlie at the front desk was super friendly and kind. We loved free s’mores at the fire pit. There was no ac which is typical of the area but it was a little too warm end of July for us. Fans were provided but if sleeping in loft where hot air rises it was a little hot. Mattress not super comfy. Overall we were pleased with our stay and for Sunrise area location couldn’t be beat. Would stay again if visiting area.

Nice bed. TV doesn't work and microwave is only useable by extremely tall people. However, I recommend staying there. Upstairs rooms are better less noise.

The staff was great, and so was the suite. The only problem was with the television reception, which the staff fixed. That would have made it 5 stars.

The staff were available, friendly, and helpful. They made late check-in and early check-out super easy. Our unit was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The beds are especially comfortable. The property is well located to the Sunrise side of the national park, so there are plenty of amazing hikes within a 10 - 20 minute drive. Closest dining is about 15 minutes away, but the kitchenette in our unit made at-home meals easy. I highly recommend this lodge and would stay there again.

This was a great stay! Check-in is done online, so make sure to download the app before your trip. They send a door code and room number via text or the app, so you don't check-in at the front desk. The room was clean and spacious, and they had s'mores kits for every night we stayed. I appreciate the privacy we were given (no cleaning or linens were replaced in our short stay, which I appreciated). The pool was clean and well maintained

This is a beautiful property surrounded by forest. It’s very quiet. You have to read the instructions in detail before you get there. Once you get there, the service is outstanding and it’s very beautiful and quiet.

The keyless entry/ not having to check in at a desk was convenient. We hiked all day so we checked in late so it was nice being able to go right to our room.

There was some problem between Expedia and LOGE with my reservation and they didn't know I was coming. Luckily the room was still available and the right folks were still on-site to fix it. They were great and made it right (including digging into their system to force the reservation). I was not double charged. Seems like a good basic lodge with an emphasis towards outdoor/ sporty types. I'd crash here again on a ski trip or a biking outing.

Great location for proximity to Mount Rainier National Park for hiking and exploring. Otherwise quite remote. Only one restaurant with a limited menu is available, approximately a 15 minute drive away. Limited selection of snacks and prepackaged food is available when the front office is open. So bring food! Staff (especially D, the property manager) was extremely friendly, helpful, and responsive. The property is dated and in need of a major refresh, but the rooms and grounds are well maintained. The hot tub was broken and unavailable, which was a bummer. Otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Games and books are available for borrowing in office. Several nice touches, which would make a return visit more likely.

The manager who checked us in did it quickly and thoroughly. He even said text him if we need anything. Great location close to the Mount Rainier park entrance.

We were able to check in early, the desk was quiet nice about it..the room was “good”, very tired looking and worn, expected this being so close to the park entrance, captive audience! Laundry service need a little tlc..other than that, beautiful area and easy access to park..thank you

Great location for the Mt. Rainier area. Cabin like vibe, and spacious rooms, they had everything you need for a great vacay! Pool and sauna were such great amenities. Can't wait to come back!

Check in receptionist was vey friendly and helpful! Perfect location to Crystal. Great trails right out the door.

SO close and convenient to the sunrise consider at the national park! The property was nice, the room had everything I needed and more. I had issue locating the map for the property but I was able to easily find my room and move the car to a closer parking spot. I would stay here again!

Place was great and well stocked but there is absolutely no grocery store or food around. It would be great if they could have some basic things available through vending machine at least since office area was closed even before 7pm

Our family stayed here for a family wedding. We really enjoyed the location and the loft room, since we are a family of 5. Note there is limited snacks and no dining here. There is a sister-restaurant where breakfast is served, but it is about 10 min away and options are very limited. Take lots of snacks and food if you have kiddos. There is a kitchen in the room. Staff was super friendly and helpful. We plan to go back.

First the staff was amazing and nice. The property was great. My only thing is that there are no dining options. The ski resort has restaurants but the one at the bottom of the mountain was closed so you had to go to the top to eat and the food was ok.. there is a small place about 15 minutes north and that's it. So make sure you bring food to cook our room had a refrigerator stove oven and microwave but there are no grocery stores close maybe 1.5 hours away.

A very pleasant and convenient place to stay when visiting Sunrise at Mt Rainier. The queen bed room was like an apartment with a living room (fireplace) and kitchen (stove, fridge, microwave, coffeemaker). Parking is easy. Hot tub, pool, play yard. Small store with snacks, pre-made sandwiches. There are also limited food options 15 minutes away at the Crystal Mountain Resort area and in the Snack Bar up at Sunrise (hot dogs, chili, snacks). The only negative is that the living room furniture and blinds are old and really need replacing.

Our stay was really good! The apartment was nice with a lovely fireplace, a kitchenette and comfortable beds. The staff really kind and friendly. This property is 40 minutes away from Enumclaw and about 20 minutes (if no traffic!!!) from the ski area. I suggest to do your shopping in Enumclaw if you’re going to cook your meal and also to have breakfast. The property provides complimentary coffee though.
