First and last time on this place… Worth to know: - Beds are hard, like very hard. - Rooms are ok, even though some moisture stain has been painted over in the toilet. - WiFi is so so, speed comes and goes. - Breakfast is ok, plenty to choose from, but scramble eggs and other hot food is barely warm. - Luggage lockers you need cash for, and reception is not happy to help out on that. - Overall service mindset is so so. - Location is walking distance to center, but located on a smaller street with some odd people in the area as well as some homeless people around.

terrible customer service, hidden charges, and unsafe area to stay. Avoid as there are far nicer hotels around the same price point in Barcelona

terrible customer services, charges for luggage storage if you arrive early, bathroom strangely configured with shower window backing on to an office block, with just a thin net curtain to protect your dignity. No AC, so you either have to open a window and contend with the noise of the street below in quite a bad area, or suffer the heat, especially as the shower is in the same room as the bed so becomes humid and hot, after showering. Staff were terrible when the lift broke down with us in it for almost 1hr, laughing and joking the whole time which we could over hear in an increasingly hot confined area. We had two crying and upset children and two disabled woman travelling with us, all stuck in the lift and after being released from the lift, none of the staff came to check anyone was ok, offer water or anything. In fact they tried to blame us for the problem, even though I pointed out we were well under the recommended capacity of both weight and people within the lift so it clearly wasn’t our fault. Zero ownership from the hotel staff (the one laughing) and was quite rude and dismissive of the whole situation. I would point out there were two lifts in the hotel and the other was out of order already when we checked in!
