La Loge de Lavande welcomes you to Foussais-Payré, set in the rolling, peaceful countryside of southern Vendée. This 65 m² holiday home is located at the rear of a 150-year-old farmhouse with thick stone walls, authentic beams, and offers plenty of peace, nature, and privacy. The house accommodates up to 5 guests in 2 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. A baby cot is available for the youngest guest. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a capsule espresso machine and a French press. You benefit from fast Wi-Fi and a large TV with French channels and streaming services. Heating is provided by electric radiators, and from October 1st, a new and cozy pellet stove is available. For extra convenience, there is a washing machine and dishwasher. The gîte is tastefully decorated in soft tones and offers optimal comfort. Everything is on one level and step-free. Outside, a large private garden of 2,000 m² awaits, full of birds, butterflies, and herbs. There are several seating areas and a barbecue for outdoor meals. Enjoy the silence and beautiful sunsets over the fields with a drink. Two private grass parking spaces are included. Charging your car or bike via a regular outlet is available for an extra fee. One pet is welcome for an extra fee. Smoking is only allowed outside. No events permitted. Childcare is possible. The owners live at the front and respect your privacy; they are present only upon request. Cleaning, bed linen, and towels are included. A shady sandy path leads you in 10 minutes on foot to the Mervent forest. Hiking and cycling routes start at the door, swimming and water sports are possible in nearby lakes. The medieval towns of Vouvant and Fontenay-le-Comte with shops, markets, and restaurants are close by. The coast is just over an hour's drive away.
