Extremely disappointing stay, with serious concerns about cleanliness, maintenance and safety. We stayed in Building B, separate from reception. The entrance and stairwell smelt strongly of damp, mouldy carpet, with visible deterioration and discolouration. I later found other guest reviews reporting water leaks, which made me concerned there may be an ongoing moisture problem. Almost immediately after check-in, a glass-topped table collapsed when a leg detached. Thankfully nobody was hurt. I reattached the leg, but we did not use the table again. When I reported it, the receptionist appeared largely uninterested. Other issues included an air-conditioning unit with its front panel held open by tape, a bedside lamp held together with tape and a loose bathroom towel rail. The glass tabletop was dirty, the back of the TV was dusty and a nearby staircase was poorly cleaned. Taken together, these were more than minor inconveniences. A collapsing glass table is a genuine safety risk, and the damp smell deserves investigation. The property felt neglected, and management’s response did little to reassure us. I would not recommend staying here until these problems are properly addressed.

The room was clean however it was placed in what appears to be a converted basement which meant no reasonable outside views without people looking in at street level, and the Wifi was non existent so only local TV stations were available. Parking was great, staff was nice and the fact that we got it during a weekend listed as a blackout period for finding a room during the time frame was a bonus so all up we'd probably give it another go if a different room were available above ground.

The carpet in the room was pretty dirty and needed vacuuming. The door was not easy to open as it was jamming. Wifi access was not available despite using the codes provided. All else was ok for the price paid.

The room was very spacious and had good facilities - great kitchenette, sofa, TV (except it didn't work), comfy bed and nice bathroom. I think in its heyday it was probably a very high level accomodation but now it's old and tired. But for a night stopover it was absolutely fine - I could have rung and asked about the TV but after a long day travelling I couldn't be bothered. Would I stay there again? Possibly, if it was a convenient stopover.
