Fern River Resort was such a special getaway. We were surrounded by breathtaking redwood trees, a very clean river on the property and wonderful staff. Check in was a breeze and instructions were super clear on how to get to our cabin. Our cabin #2 was extremely clean and very cozy, the bedding was plush and pink! I loved that we had the option to cook there. At the property, Lisa was able to also accommodate an extension on our last day there thankfully because we weren't ready to leave yet, she was profesional and very kind. We will definitely be coming back and will be recommending this special place in the woods to friends and family.

Excellent stay! I loved our cabin. It had a beautiful view, and my family really enjoyed spending time surrounded by nature, the river, and the majestic redwood trees. It was peaceful, relaxing, and a wonderful place to create family memories. One suggestion for improvement would be to provide daily housekeeping, including room cleaning and fresh towels each day. That would make the stay even more comfortable. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely come back!

The resort is in a beautiful spot in the woods and right near the San Lorenzo River. The staff are friendly and the check-in was smooth - after direct communication with the resort. We booked the two-bedroom cottage with a loft. Appreciated the full kitchen but do wish the resort would invest in some new towels and blankets. The towels were at least 10 years old as were the blankets and my son said the one on his bed did not smell pleasant. Overall though a great venue and will book again.
