Our trip to Jay Peak was awesome! Our kids (7 and 10 years old) loved it just as much as we did. We stayed at the Stateside Hotel. It is right across from Clips & Reels, which I can’t recommend highly enough. As a hotel guest, we got to see The Little Mermaid for free in their theater and another night we went back to climb and do the ropes course. It’s not a huge place, but it was incredibly fun (and challenging) for all 4 of us. We also spent a day at the waterpark - which is a must see if you’re going to Jay Peak. It’s connected to an arcade where we spent lots of time too. Skiing conditions were great. Housekeeping doesn’t come in, so we had to ask for more TP and new towels. While that was surprising, it wasn’t a dealbreaker for us. Will definitely be going back.

I like that there was an on demand shuttle. Next time I will book directly with Jay Peak so the water park will be included. Only two restaurants open, but fire pit at night in all areas. Massages were lovely and relaxing.

We go there every year but this year the place was just dirty, dirty cups in the kitchen the amount of dirt on the ceiling fan was just horrible. We love the place but this year we were just disappointed.

I had a unit with a small kitchen. The carpet was very stained/dirty and looked like it was way overdue for replacement. Found a dirty pan in the oven and broken glassware in the dishwasher. The oven looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. Looking past the poor cleanliness and wear, the rest of the unit was basic but ok with obvious corporate cost cutting. Overpriced for what I got. You’re paying for the location near the mountain. For example the TV in the sitting area was old and had no Wi-Fi to support streaming services. No pulls on the kitchen cabinets and drawers which probably saved them a few dollars but made the drawers and cabinets hard to open. No TV in the bedroom area. They must have the cheapest toilet seat they could find as I could feel the plastic bending when I closed the lid and sat on it. The bedroom was downstairs in the unit which worked well for me but this would be a problem for anyone with mobility problems. The unit included an unfinished laundry room adjacent to the downstairs bedroom that some might like but I didn’t use this. The unit had a small outside deck which had a partial view over a valley but it looked to me like they had allowed the nearby wooden area to grow in which blocked most of what was likely a very nice view when the units were built. One the leaves fall off the view may improve for winter visits. I visited off season in the fall.

This property was great, I would go back again, but it could have been cleaner...dishes from previous guest were still in dishwasher, their check in cards still there, there were some dead flys in living area...I get it's off season but still...other than that was perfect for what we needed.

Bathroom was disgusting, had bugs falling on us in the night-was told this was normal-and overall crappy service. This resort has gone downhill and for the price they ask it should have been better.

When we arrived we checked in at 6pm. We had purchased dinner to bring with us. The dishwasher was full of dirty dishes. We has to wash the silverware so we could use it. There where dirty towels in the washing machine. We had pancake mix to make in the Am and there was only one very small pan that was extremely scratched. We could not use it. The fireplace did not work. We contacted customer service and they did offer to send someone over to fix it. Lastly when leaving and checking the beds I noticed the kids pillows were stained yellow and disgusting. I would not have allowed them to iuse the pillows if i would have seen it.

There was a VERY bad smell downstairs!! So much so I stayed on the couch and my daughter stayed upstairs with her dad. No one could sleep down there.. stains all over the carpets.. the smell has to be fixed and we need to be compensated. This room was 250 a night!! NOT GOOD

All around out stay was excellent. The staff were helpful, and the hotel is located right on the mountain so it’s ski in and out. The onsite restaurants are also quite good. One issue one of the nights with noise around and above our floor (basically noise proofing is not great and we had really loud neighbours) but it wasn’t bad enough to wreck our stay.

My stay in the cottages of the golf course was not the greatest experience. There was no air conditioning. They had a fan and a ceiling fan. But it was still too hot. There was too many bugs out there. The rooms were spacious and clean. More for someone who likes nature.

I was disappointed with my stay due to the mattress situation. Instead of providing a proper king-size mattress as advertised, simply two double mattresses were pushed together. The result was incredibly uncomfortable—there was a noticeable gap in the middle, and the uneven surface made it nearly impossible to sleep well. More over we are travelling with a kid, it was very uncomfortable with one sleeping in the middle and mattress was pretty uneven. For a place that markets itself as a luxury resort, this does not look like proper standard. A good night's sleep is much expected for relaxing, but this kind of situation makes a big difference when you're trying to relax. Much was expected from this kind of resort but unfortunately it didn't live upto the expectation.

Very nice resort but the chalet is old outdated and the same for the furniture. Cleanliness also not 100%. Still overall the stay was correct. We were in the main bulding in a suite last year for the same price and it was way better.

Great stay at Hotel Jay, but lacking room service. We left our room each day at 9:30am and not once was it cleaned. We had to ask for towels just to have cleaned ones and they weren’t even going to pick up the dirty ones until I asked them to remove them. 5th time staying here and will be back but they need to housekeeping staff.

Excellent rooms, excellent food at the restaurants, friendly service. I have mobility problems because of knee injuries. The front desk staff quickly changed my room to one closer accessible to my limitations. Very considerate & swift. Highly recommend this place. Price is reasonable. Make sure to take a trip on the tram up the mountain for magnificent views.

I made my reservation with Expedia and it was unnecessarily complicated checking in at the hotel. They couldn’t find my booking, they were charging additional amounts and it took over 1 1/2 hours to check in and the hotel kept blaming Expedia for the troubles

Most of the staff we encountered throughout our stay were shockingly rude and dismissive. Especially at the Foundry Bar. But also at the General Store and even at the front desk. The staff made us feel like more of an inconvenience than welcome visitors.

The carpet had sticky stains, only two utensils (slotted spoon and wooden spoon), the oven needed service, and the stove was missing a burner top. I thought I booked a unit with two twin beds but they were made up as a king (but that could have been my fault). Maintenance serviced the oven within ten minutes of my complaint and the guys were extremely helpful and pleasant. We got a late checkout which made things better on our last day!

Highlight was breakfast on the terrace at Clubhouse Grille. Room was nice enough. Bathroom sink was 90% clogged; drained very, very slowly. Someone came to repair around 9:30 in the AM, but we hadn't called. So that means they were just now responding to a previous guest's report however many days later.

I feel like I was hoodwinked by this misleading listing. I was meant to believe that I had booked a room at the Jay Peak resort with ski on/off amenities and a walk to the base lodge but instead booked a cottage at the golf course 1/2 mile from the main hotel. On top of this, I was still charged the resort fee even though we barely had access to the resort. The cottage was out dated and poorly laid out as the two bedrooms weren't anywhere near one another.

We had a wonderful stay. The weather was rainy but we had plenty to do at the indoor swim park. The restaurants were right on campus and the pizza was especially good and reasonably priced.

There is no restaurant open after 9:00 pm and I didn't know about it, I spent the whole night without eating anything, the hotel has a CLOSED restaurant, in the room there is no water for people, it is disappointing.

I like that there was an on demand shuttle. Next time I will book directly with Jay Peak so the water park will be included. Only two restaurants open, but fire pit at night in all areas. Massages were lovely and relaxing.

It was perfect!! We just wish the resort had more gluten free dining options (literally pizza only) water pressure in shower was awful. But everything else was 10/10!!!!

Loved - location, room, room amenities, parking, Water Park, housekeeping staff and housekeeping performance. All exceeded expectations Okay - value for the money, other staff members. Been elsewhere where these things were better. Unacceptable - charging a resort fee on top of room fee, then charging above average ticket price for the water park. Also, outdoor pool was advertised as being free with room stay we were not allowed access without paying for water park access, staff member claimed she 'did not know how to open the locked gates' that should have allowed us access to the outdoor pool using our room key card. Not likely to return as a result of these hidden junk fees.

We had to clean the room ourselves cause there was dirt on the floors, dead bugs and smelled like cigarettes even though it was as a no smoking room, We had to rewash the bedding and pillow covers cause the covers looked brown and nasty. The bedroom has no tv just a mirror so high up you can’t even look in it in the placement a tv should be. The bed was two twins put together so me and my wife couldn’t even cuddle for our anniversary stay because we would fall between the crack of where the twin mattress met, the way button drawer of the stove is FILTHY I decided I would not use the stove at all because of the filth. Outside the front door there are shards of clear glass, so imagine your child running around bare foot. Oh by the way I got stuck on the deck for 25 minutes as my wife showered because even though I had 5 keycards, none worked to scan me back in, so imagine you are sleeping and your child sneaks on the deck and can’t get in! Not safe. We had to ask for another key in the Jaypeak hotel because the keys provided by stateside wouldn’t even scan to get into the pool and hot tub area! The pizza place gave us food poisoning we were stuck on the toilet most of our stay, the jaypeak lifeguards were more worried about visiting rather then scanning the outdoor pool. The only thing we actually got to enjoy during our stay was the fireplace and the provisions restaurant, their customer service was top notch and the shuttle was great, 2/10 outdated dirty and unsafe.

The amenities that were open were good. Unfortunately it was not made clear when i booked that many of the bars, restaurants, and activities closed for the season. Rock climbing was closed, ice skating was closed, the tram was closed for weather. We ended up at the water park though and that was really nice. Overall i would stay again.
